Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Upstate South Carolina

I had a little trouble getting in with the keypad, but that is probably more about my lack of knowledge with keypad entries. 😂 The home was spotless when we arrived and we filled it with lots of laughter and fun! The back deck was amazing - even in a gentle rain. And, our last night there we enjoyed a fire in the fire pit. Mike and Cate were INCREDIBLY helpful and communicative. They answered every question within minutes and made us feel well taken care of. Departure was easy and they requested minimal prep for departure. They made staying at their home easy and comfortable. 👍

Our family was fortunate enough to stay at Marissa’s lovely Lake Escape to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from Clemson. It was a beautiful way to enjoy being together. We loved Marissa’s beautiful lake house. It reminded us of our family cabin in upstate New York. Thank you very much Marissa for opening up your lovely home to the Giebelhaus House.💜🧡💜🧡

The house was perfect for our needs!! It had everything we needed and then some! The communication from the hosts was fast and clear which is completely appreciated. Thank you all for a great place to stay during our time in South Carolina.

Mara’s place was extremely clean, the beds were so comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The neighborhood felt safe and location was ideal for us going to a Clemson rowing event. We hope to visit again.

Another great stay at Jesses. We were able to explore downtown fountain Inn with its restaurants and boutiques. The house is near the Swamp River Trail so that you can walk your dog , the house has comfortable beds and is outfit fitted with all the essentials you need for a great stay

Lisa is a great host. She goes over and above, making sure her guests are comfortable and communicates very clearly. We will definitely book with her again.

I couldn't be more pleased with my first AirBnB stay. The place was clean, inviting, and well-stocked. I wasn't expecting spices, dog toys, dog bowls, dog cot, etc. The fully fenced in yard, lake access, available kayaks, and privacy are the only things I wanted and this place sure supplied! the hot tub, outdoor shower, and firepit were huge bonuses. Also, met and talked with the neighbor who is super friendly 😉 I stayed alone the first half with my dogs and got my peace in. The second half a couple girl friends joined and we thoroughly enjoyed paddling out the this little island and throwing rocks, trying to fish, etc. Enjoying using the coloring supplies, games, and grill as well! It did storm most of the week, but even that was enjoyable! 10/10 experience for us all.

What a wonderful little place to stay. Private, clean, and close enough to town. Some parts of the cottage (pool, bathroom, and part of kitchen) were recently renovated and were even nicer than the photos. Harry was very responsive with any questions. It was a pleasure staying here and I hope to visit again.

Just a great time Honestly! Place was fun and perfect for my brother’s fishing and kayaking getaway trip. Just the right size and the best recommendations for everything. Great host, great home, and great location! Couldn’t have been more perfect. P.S. The shower pressure and temperature was like luxury at the end of a day at the lake. Highly recommend

Lovely, well designed space with a fireplace, overlooking the pool on one side and beautiful horses on the other. Great mini kitchen and creatively furnished with a mix of new and vintage pieces. Definitely five stars!

Wow this place was absolutely amazing the pool and the hot tub were definitely the highlight of the stay but the house was also very homey and clean and it’s was a fun time

Very homey, well stocked, roomy, in-law apartment in a quiet, country setting. Garage parking with direct handicap ramp entrance from inside of garage to the apartment.

One of the most scenic rentals out there! We had a perfect stay at Wayne’s place. Instructions on how to get to the cabin were very clear and GPS surprisingly took us right to the front door. You get incredible privacy but only 20 minutes to get into town if you need anything. Would absolutely return here!

Sauna, cold plunge & hot tub were perfect after hiking nearby. Hosts were very responsive & we had an excellent time, thank you!

This was my daughter’s birthday weekend and we had a Mommy/daughter weekend on the farm. This was literally one of the best experiences of our life. My daughter is an animal lover; especially cows and she was in heaven. Sheri and her family were amazing, welcoming and some of the sweetest people we’ve ever met! If you love stay here you won’t regret it! We’re grateful that we found New Beginnings Historic Farms!!!

The cabin was great! In a beautiful location, not far from town. Beth had plenty of information about things to do. I was there to go gem mining and she had a map for most of them. I prefer maps to using GPS so it was right up my alley. It rained every night and on the tin roof it made me feel right at home.

We had a great time! Brannon was very responsive and replied within a reasonable time. We enjoyed every bit of it especially the nature. We will definitely come back and will recommend to family and friends. Thank you again for the experience!

Our recent stay in this one-of-a-kind dome near the Smoky Mountains was a breath of fresh air—literally and figuratively. Tucked into a quiet patch of forest, the dome offered a beautiful, peaceful escape from everyday life. The outdoor deck was our favorite spot—perfect for sipping coffee in the crisp mountain air or stargazing at night. The hot tub outside was the cherry on top—relaxing in warm water while surrounded by nature was pure magic. The fire pit added a great touch for unwinding in the evenings. Location-wise, it struck the perfect balance—remote enough to feel off-the-grid, but still a short drive from trails, waterfalls, and charming mountain towns. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and made everything easy. If you’re looking for a cozy, beautiful, and totally different kind of stay, this dome is the way to go. Highly recommend for couples or solo travelers looking to recharge in nature.

Staying in this tree house was an absolute dream! It was private, spotlessly clean, and truly one-of-a-kind—such a peaceful and unique experience. You can tell a lot of care and attention went into making it special. Hartwell was an amazing host—super helpful and quick to respond to any questions. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend!

Quick getaway to the upstate while our daughter attended a camp function. Home was very very clean, well stocked kitchen. Simply decorated, zero clutter. A/C gets five stars all to itself!!! Quiet at night, close to everything we needed. 15 minute drive to downtown Greenville. Husband loved the blackout blinds in bedroom. Solid WiFi.
