Vacation rentals with breakfast in Upstate South Carolina

We enjoyed staying here a lot. The layout, including the mother-in-law suite down stairs met our needs great. It is private, but still convenient to good roads to get to Hendersonville and other nearby towns including Ashville. The home was clean, well stocked and everything was in good working order. The owner very helpful and was quick to respond to our questions. Everything was great and no complaints.

Rebecca was super helpful and responsive, even as my plans were constantly changing. I appreciated her understanding of my situation and I would definitely recommend this AirBnB to someone looking to stay in the area.

We loved our stay! It was quiet and in a lovely location. The house was super clean and we felt at home. It had everything we needed for our visit to the area and plenty of space to work remote too. There was a power outage when we arrived and for most of the evening and Jessica was very responsive. We enjoyed visiting some local places like cat cafes (Cats at Play Cafe & House of Black Cat Magic) and breweries (Whistle Hop, Turgua and Highland). I love to thrift and can recommend the Asheville Humane Thrift Store.

Elizabeth’s place was wonderful. It was better than the pictures or the description provided. She had every amenity you could think of and each one was of top-quality. The house was cute and well decorated in a quiet historic neighborhood. I will definitely go back and rent from Elizabeth again. I would like to stay there for a longer period of time because it was so relaxing. It was convenient to get to downtown Hendersonville or easy to jump on the interstate and head to Asheville. She had plenty of literature about the surrounding areas available in the house. She also provided instructional manuals for the heating air, hot water heater, and the appliances. The backyard was cute with plenty of amenities of its own, including hammock and chairs. The front porch was darling, and a quiet cozy place to sit. The mattresses were comfortable as well as all the furniture was very usable and clean. I look forward to the next visit to Hendersonville and the elizabeth’s place.

In a word - extraordinary. I am a person who prefers luxury hotels. This house was fashionably decorated and was just a space you felt great being in. Everything was new and clean. Small details evident everywhere. Everything needed was just where you would expect it. And fresh roses on the table when we arrived? Incredible. Friendly and helpful hosts. Could not rave more. We loved it. And I am no pushover.

We chose Maggie’s place because it was close to our daughter’s wedding venue and looked like a pretty place for the bridesmaids to get ready and have photos that morning. It didn’t disappoint! Everything about it was beautiful-very clean and inviting. The linens are lovely and the owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The record player gave us fun entertainment. The game cabinet was very well stocked. The bathrooms had toiletries. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and even all the things that make cooking easier (salt, oil, etc.). We enjoyed having a home base during a very busy weekend. Maggie was also very helpful and let us come back later after we checked out because we realized we had left my daughter’s wedding cake in the freezer! We are very grateful and recommend this place wholeheartedly.

This place is a great landing spot for a trip to Athens. It's located on a quiet street in a great neighborhood and is close to campus and restaurants. Its is really well thought out in terms of use of space. The kitchen is cute and well-stocked, with lots of storage. The washer/dryer is an added bonus! Although the bathroom is small, it manages to squeeze in some storage (and hooks!) and is clean and stylish. Although I didn't have any problems with it, I could see the small driveway with parking shared with the upstairs unit being a bit dicey. Would definitely stay here again!

Frank and Cindy’s place was the perfect location for anything on campus—just a quick 6-minute drive away. The home was cozy, with charming decor and thoughtful touches throughout. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking essentials and coffee, and there were plenty of towels provided. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and parking was easy with space for two vehicles. We especially appreciated the flexible, accommodating hosts and the great variety of outdoor seating areas. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend staying here! The balcony is lovely, the views are lovely, and just down the hill is a wonderful brewery with even more lovely views. We love staying in the French broad district and hope to visit again soon.

This was our second stay we have stayed on both sides of the Airbnb and we absolutely loved them both it was peaceful and relaxing just what we needed 😊

Mary Ann's place was fantastic! We stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer. Communication was excellent. We enjoyed the wonderful views from the swing. The apartment was very clean and comfortable with lovely decor. We highly recommend a stay with Mary Ann!

Liz's Studio B (Walk to Warren Wilson College) was delightful and perfect for my stay to attend WWC commencement. It was an easy walk to and from campus and had everything I needed to make my stay comfortable.

We had the pleasure of staying at Melodie’s apartment while in town for a wedding. It was perfect for our family of 4. Our girls loved having their own bunk beds and the King Bed was very comfortable. Everything we wanted or needed was provided. Melodie was so gracious and very responsive. I only wish we had more time to spend at the place enjoying how beautiful and peaceful it all is. This couldn’t be located in a better area. Loved waking up to seeing the mountains and rolling hills. What a wonderful trip and we’ll be back!

Beautiful surroundings and peaceful vibes. Judy is a wonderful host and makes sure you feel at home. However, the place was a bit cluttered in the bathroom and bedrooms.

I would move into this property in a heartbeat. As a solo traveler I am careful about which locations I chose. I felt very safe, the place was spotless and has everything you would need. Carmen made you feel like you were staying at your best fiends place. Thank you Carmen!

My husband and I and our 2 pups had a wonderful stay at Bev’s! It was like staying with family. Our pups had a large fenced in yard to enjoy and we enjoyed the beautiful deck overlooking the meadow. Bev is an excellent hostess and is now a dear friend.

This was a wonderful place to stay. The decor was just beautiful. Everything we needed was there, and Diana was willing to do whatever we needed. She was also so friendly. We felt so much at home there. We hope to return again.

Tamara and Marc were so welcoming and had everything set up for the most amazing experience. There was not one detail left un attended to. They went above and WAY beyond with supplies and amazing treats. For a very small price Tamara prepared the most amazing picnic for us that we had by the creek. We spent hours down there with our pup. The nature and surroundings as well as the beautiful Forrest cabin in the trees were only exceeded by their gracious hospitality. This was an amazing experience and we can’t wait to return. Thank you Tamara and Marc!!!!

Friendly host, luxury linens, and the most beautiful surroundings!! This place was awesome. My husband and I arrived late on Christmas night around 9pm. I mentioned to TJ how we weren’t able to find anywhere open to eat (because of Christmas) and TJ (the innkeeper) ended up making us 2 turkey sandwiches for dinner!! Talk about hospitality. We stayed in the Riverside Suite and the linens were AMAZING. I was not expecting that but the sheets were ultra soft as well as the towels and the mattress was so comfy. Literally checked the brand to buy the towels for my house. The hot tub is the perfect way to relax after hiking all day and our pup enjoyed every minute. I was grateful to get to chat with TJ and the story behind the inn and how he has put his heart in soul into that place. You can feel that spirit and love throughout the whole property. We will definitely be back!!

Our son was getting married nearby, so the Hunt House was home base for our side of the family. One night we had a cookout using the big Blackstone in the garage and the three picnic tables in the spacious side yard. It is a safe spot for kids to run around and climb the giant tree with branches close to the ground. Perfect. Inside, the kitchen is well-equipped, and unlike most places, there are plenty of good hangers in the closets and extra necessities, too. The living room furniture could be more comfortable, but we’ve stayed at the Hunt House several times and love it there.

Louise‘s place was wonderful. Very warm and inviting. Handpicked flowers awaited our arrival, along with fresh fruit, snacks, and coffee creamer! Always thankful for coffee creamer!Communication from check-in to check out was great. The house itself is spectacular. The lake view is great! The suite we stayed in was very roomy, and perfectly clean. Would definitely stay again.

Sweet little country inn feel with beautiful mountain views. Yummy breakfasts and very gracious host. Close to the Blue Ridge Parkway for hiking.
