Ocean front condo with amazing ocean view!

StashRating, 5 stars1 week ago
David's place was in a fantastic location at Seaside Villas. Located a minute away from the beach and a 7 minute walk from Coligany Plaza with great local restaurants. David was very responsive and was a great host. He had great accessories for the beach like a wagon and coolers which were super helpful to bring all the stuff you need to the beach. Bed was comfortable but you do to use his fan to get the A/C to flow into the room if it warm. It still was comfortable. stuff was a little outdated, the proximity to the beach, the plaza and the comfort of the condo made up for it. Thanks for a great stay!

5 Star Location! Pool, Walk to Shops/Dining

LaurenRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had the best time on HHI at Christina’s condo. My husband & I took our one year old on her first beach vacation and there was plenty of space! We loved the convenience of the location as well as the patio for our morning coffee. We utilized the trolley in the Sea Pines area which conveniently stops at the condo to get to the beach! We would go back in a heartbeat.

Cozy Coastal Chic - Beach, Pickleball, Golf, Pets

We have stayed in the Queens Grant neighborhood for the past few Memorial Days and never been disappointed. Patricia’s place was as described! One of the more spacious units we’ve stayed in with a very comfortable living area. Access to the beach on the shuttle is a great option. The full size beds could use updating but our kids didn’t complain :) Thanks for a great stay!

Marriott Sunset Pointe - 2BD

TinaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
This place is very well maintained, I feel very safe to stay there. Inside is very clean and homely. I enjoyed my stay. The only thing is: when we check out, the front desk girl has very unfriendly attitude and act like that she does not want to see me. After few minutes of putting up with this,I told her: “ can you be more pleasant?”. Then she said : “ I cannot hear you”. I do not understand why this is happening, maybe because I am Asian? All the guests in lobby having breakfast are white. My English is fluent and people have no trouble to understand me,FYI. The front desk girl who has bad attitude towards me is Mexican, maybe she does not like to see Asian? I really don’t understand, but I did not do anything wrong to deserve this kind of treatment. There is a man working on the raffle desk told me : “Welcome staying with us”. I said : “Thank you so much, you are very pleasant!”Then I told him what happened to me. Hopefully this will not happen to other people in future again!!!

120 Club Course @ Sea Pines | Lagoon View | Pool

AirelRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We absolutely LOVED this Airbnb! It was the cleanest, nicest home we have ever stayed in and truly felt like a resort or hotel. They leave you a basket of goodies like snacks and coffee. They fold the towels so nicely in a resort way. The pool was absolutely beautiful and the golf course it is on is beautiful as well. We spent a lot of time in the sunroom watching movies each night and relaxing. It’s also very nice that it is in Sea Pines so you do not have to pay the daily fee to go to Harbour town. Perfect location and so close to so many restaurants! Will 100% book again. The beds and bathrooms were beautiful and comfy and the bathtub is so relaxing and nice! The only thing I will say is careful of the showers since they have no doors the water does get everywhere and you can wipe it up but when you’re 7 months pregnant the floors get pretty slippery.

New Resort-Style Pool, Cute House 88 Steps to Sand

JohnRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Our family of 5 stayed at Rick’s place for a week for spring break and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was easy walking to the beach, very fun to play in the heated pool, biking to Coligny for food, playground. We did a cookout one night in the cabana by the pool. The kids loved the bunk bed. The easy indoor/outdoor living was a delight. The TVs and remotes worked great. I enjoyed going on runs in the morning on the beach or on the biking/walking trail across the street from the house. The house had everything we could want like a stool for our 3 year old to use the bathroom sink to plenty of pool toys, beach toys, chairs, beach wagon, etc. The house also came with a pass to Sea Pines which was an unexpected treat!

We loved our stay at Marina's beach hut. We walked to the beach morning and evening and views on the beach were beautiful. Everyone was so friendly. Had plenty of space for our family to either be together or spread out in the house space. House was well stocked with beach and home supplies. Loved having space for our car in the garage. Master bath shower was luxurious! Neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. Loved the keyless entry system!

What a great location! We took multiple walks per day to the river since it was such a short walk. The park is beautiful and scenery is varied based on the tides and time of day. Same with local restaurants and stores, and the weekly farmers’ market—easy walks. The setup of the house was perfect for us and the backyard is private and idyllic, despite the house being so centrally located. We can’t recommend it enough.

Your guide to Hilton Head Island

All About Hilton Head

There are 24 golf courses and 12 miles of soft-sand beaches spread over Hilton Head Island’s 25,000 acres. Add scenic walking trails, breezy, tropical weather, and an obsession with tennis and there’s a good chance you’re here to recreate and relax. This is an island of swaying palms, easy resort-style living, and the Southern flare for hospitality for which this neck of the woods is known. Hilton Head Island is also steeped in history, with a prominent Gullah-Geechee influence that infuses this little corner of the lowcountry with a cultural richness. There are also restaurants serving traditional Southern fare, oyster shucking stalls, and folk music and artisan wares steeped in West African tradition. With so much layered history everywhere you look, you may have come here to play, but you’ll likely leave having learned a lot too.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Hilton Head Island

If you want to visit Hilton Head Island at its busiest and most lively time of year, come during the high summer months of June, July, and August. A golf tournament every spring draws throngs of visitors, but otherwise April and May tend to be quieter times to enjoy the calmer side of island life. Visiting in September or October will also mean mild weather and few crowds, though be careful to check the hurricane forecast as tropical storms can hit in late-autumn. The Island quiets down throughout the winter, and if you choose to come at this time of year, you may just find yourself with a 25,000 acre private island resort at your fingertips — though know that it won’t be the best time for swimming in the ocean.

Top things to do in Hilton Head Island

Learn about Gullah culture

The Gullah-Geechee people of Hilton Head and the surrounding lowcountry are the descendants of enslaved West Africans who, due to the remoteness of their island plantations, managed to preserve their heritage and cultural identity throughout the centuries. Take a boat tour along the waterways that link these island communities, go on a trail walk led by a Gullah elder, or savor Gullah culture in one of the best ways possible — by tasting its influence on so much of Southern cuisine.

Golf

With two dozen golf courses on Hilton Head Island, you can rest assured that this is an excellent place to putt. The island is something of a pilgrimage site for golf aficionados, with the pros and fans alike coming down every year for the regular pro tours and annual tournaments. Note that some of the island’s golf clubs are private or membership only, but fear not, there are still more than 15 public courses that anybody can enjoy.

Sea Pines Forest Preserve

Sea Pines Forest Preserve is a haven of natural beauty, wildlife, and history. Wander along wetland boardwalks, hike through forest trails, and watch alligators bask in the marshes. While here, don’t miss the 4,000-year-old Sea Pines Shell Ring, an important indigenous archeological site, and leave some time to get lost in the secret forest, past a vanishing swamp.
