Cottage vacation rentals in Upstate South Carolina

My son and I stayed here for one night, and we wish we could have stayed longer! I absolutely loved this home and wish I could live there full-time. We felt completely at home and lacked for nothing. I called my husband to tell him that I found the perfect place to stay when we visit Brevard again. I can't wait to come back and share this wonderful little cottage with my husband! Thank you for everything! I will be back!

Big backyard was perfect for the dogs. The Cottage was just as described Very clean with everything we needed for the weekend. We contacted Brandon once for broken blowdryer and he offered to run one over in a couple hours. Very responsive and accommodating. We will stay again

What a wonderful, bucolic location for our family to rest and relax at. The centralized location to the greater Asheville area suited our weekend needs perfectly. The house itself instantly felt like "home" to us. That we could share family time in such a unique and quiet location was perfect. We'll be back!

Great place to stay if you want to visit the Asheville area! The host is responsive and check-in and check-out is fairly simple. The place is in great condition and my group had no complaints at all!

Sylvie’s home was beautiful, filled with details that made it both functional and homey (eg, a full spice rack, and even lotion). We loved our stay and they even let us extend it for a reasonable fee. The location is amazing — tucked away with privacy, but very easy to get to all the beautiful attractions in the area. This by far is one of our favorite places. We frequently visit Hendersonville and we hit the jackpot when we found this cute little cottage that was superiorly clean. Dale and Kelli are as friendly as we could ever imagine. We highly recommend this beautiful cottage. Definitely beats a hotel room.

Mike’s place has an amazing view!! If you stay here you must get up to see the sun rise! The host was nice and I enjoyed talking to him. The home was clean and very convenient to activities in Sky Valley and Highlands. We would stay here again.

We were looking for a short getaway to decompress a bit after youngest son's USC graduation events and then oldest son's wedding a week later. our stay at the Gamecock cottage took care of that. It was a relaxing time while at the cottage or on the boat we rented and docked there. The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. Most of our time there when not on the boat was spent just sitting on the deck.

What a wonderful little place to stay. Private, clean, and close enough to town. Some parts of the cottage (pool, bathroom, and part of kitchen) were recently renovated and were even nicer than the photos. Harry was very responsive with any questions. It was a pleasure staying here and I hope to visit again.

Exceeded our expectations in every way. Perfect for us (couple). Fireplace was wonderful and plenty of firewood. Porch swing was a great place to spend the afternoon. I have already booked for the Fall for a return trip. Just can't say enough about how nice this cabin is in every way.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shannon’s place. We could have easily parked ourselves on the deck for the entirety of our 3-day stay and been very happy, but it was easy to come down off the hill and visit restaurants in Arden or Asheville. Shannon has done a very nice job of working updates to the home, especially to the kitchen and bathrooms. She deserves a special shout-out for going above and beyond to ensure the gas supply for the fire pit was quickly replenished when it unexpectedly ran out. As advertised, this was a great combination of peace, solitude, privacy, mountain views, with surprisingly good access to all that the greater Asheville area has to offer.

We had a great time at this cute and cozy Airbnb! We really enjoyed chatting with the hosts during the wine tasting—they were friendly and welcoming, and offered great suggestions. Very accommodating to our puppy. Would definitely stay here again!

I loved staying with Thomas. The place was beautiful and peaceful I felt at ease the whole time. The acres were so pretty and it was great seeing all the animals. Thomas was super helpful when I had any questions and quick to respond. I would 100% recommend staying here.

Area was well situated for us to escape for a weekend getaway. The location is ideal for hiking. The cabin is about a 15 min drive from several area restaurants. It was nice to leave the doors and windows open and feel some cool mountain air during the last days of May.

My husband and I enjoyed the beautiful, secluded space for a few days. It was the first time we could travel to see any damage to our family home in Asheville after Hurricane Helene, and needed a peaceful place during our stay. Mike was truthful, kind and encouraging about the area after the hurricane, and we are happy to report that there was only minimal damage to the home. What a great place to be if there were bad news! Our stay at the house was minimal as we took long drives and explored the surrounding areas (devastating at times) and visited the Sierra Nevada brewery in Mills River. The coffee was plentiful during our two-day stay, which included my husband's best buddy from N.C. (Yay, to two well-appointed full bathrooms!) We were glad to know about the steep driveway beforehand, but there was no problem reaching the house with a 4WD. The home was clean, safe, spacious and lovely -- straight out of any top home decor magazine! Thank you!

Sarah’s place was the perfect getaway cottage for our visit to the Clayton, North GA mountain area. We felt tucked away in our own peaceful place, but it was so convenient to restaurants and shops. I love that it had 2 bedrooms with very comfortable King size beds. The linens were so soft and comfy too. We will definitely be back on our next visit to the area.

Me and my group stayed at Averee and Tim’s place for three days, and we absolutely adored it! The location was exactly what we wanted, a little removed but still close enough to town for comfort. The home was beautifully decorated, and we appreciated the time that must have gone into creating such a lovely experience for their guests. We cannot recommend this place enough! Peaceful, cozy, and the hosts were lovely as well. Perfect!

Private and quiet. And has goats, which you can feed by hand. Caleb quickly answered all my questions and refilled the goat food quickly. Great place to stay.
