Our Curious | Opossum Hollow

Welcome to Opossum Hollow in the quaint mountain town of Travelers Rest! Our partially restored 1984 Airstream Excella, lovingly referred to as `Possum Holler', is situated on the same property as our home. With a covered space for parking and a 35 foot skylight deck, this outdoor space is designed for cool evening lounging and warm afternoon napping. We worked with a number of local artisans to design and create the entire space, ensuring most every element is handmade, upcycled, and recycled!

Folks, the bus is leaving, get your ticket now! Relax on our huge deck even in the rain. Watch Netflix on our smart tv during mountain downtime or have your morning java looking out at our peaceful view. This was a school bus, look for yellow paint, now it is an amazing retreat with everything you need for a stay in our Blue Ridge Mountain(s) bus. Read Description! Primitive hike-in cabin w/views!

The Sasquatch Inn is a secluded heavily wooded primitive cabin that sits on 32 acres, with some great views of the Smoky mountains. This is a hike-"Up/Down" the mtn. Hike up approximately 1/4 mile. We can also ferry your gear to and from the parking area in our Polaris General if need be but will need to make arrangements for that. The hike "is" uphill. Bring an umbrella and flashlights for your night-time hike up, and hiking shoes. The hike "up" the mountain can be slippery/muddy when raining.
