Beach house vacation rentals in Cumbria

A lovely place to spend Easter with my family consisting of three generations. Four adults, 2 kids (aged 6 & 2) and two dogs. The house was as described and clean on arrival. Very close to the beach (max 5 minute walk) and the coastal path was safe to let the dogs run off their leads. Had a fab time at Farmer Parr's petting farm which was approx a 10 minute drive away. Sunday was good weather so a long beach walk was enjoyed by the "elders" whilst the young ones had a play day on the beach. The kitchen had everything you need to cook up a storm including a full on Easter dinner. Would we return? If we want to re-visit Fleetwood then yes, but we like to try different places. This place ticked all the boxes for my lovely family break :-) Thank you Jaqui.

Really spacious place in a great location!

We stayed at Jonathan and Lindsay’s place for 3 days for our business trip in Blackpool:) The accommodation is spacious, cosy and wonderful! Everything we need is within reach and best of all we absolutely love the living area and the lovely kitchen, and it’s perfect for us to relax and have a good time together after a hard day’s work!! It was a great home to make our base to the Lakes. Windermere is about 45 mins drive. the house had more bedroom than we expected, decent kitchen, 3 bathrooms and local superstores about 4 minutes drive. Free on street parking may not be found always outside the house but never more than a minute's walk away. the small patio at the back was nice right outside the kitchen. Definately good value for money!

Wow what can I say , not enough stars to rate this beautiful house . The view alone is spectacular, the house is fabulous , a lovely welcome pack plus the house is immaculate. So handy for all amenities and lovely walks along the promenade. I cannot recommend this house enough , I cannot imagine anybody not enjoying their stay there . Thank you Gill for your communications and for allowing us to stay . I am sure my family will want to stay again .

Our second stay, it's lovely to be so close to the beach and a very short drive into the Lake District. The property is exactly as describe, with all the facilities we needed for a weekend stay.

We had an amazing weekend at Garry’s place. There’s lots to do in the area but we couldn’t think of a good reason to leave. The property is right on the beach which was very much enjoyed by children and the dog. The house is really well equipped. It was clean and beautifully furnished. Beds were super comfy. Lots of space for 4 adults two children and a dog.

George and his daughter are lovely people. Their home is so clean, warm and had everything you could possibly need. Having it accessible for my son’s wheelchair was amazing and the downstairs bedroom really helpful. The location to visit Blackpool is just perfect, the tram stop is opposite so getting to the tower or the pleasure beach is easy, but the house itself is that little bit away, with excellent parking, making it ideal for a family. Very fair price too. Highly recommended.

Amazing. It really felt at home I could have just stayed, beautiful view of the sea from living room and especially balcony so majestic and peaceful, inside caravan had everything we needed beautiful and homely. The double bed was lovely so soft great sleep. We will defintly be back, Jennifer great host quick at reply and if need anything she gets straight on with it fantastic

Although I didn’t meet Rachel, I did meet her husband Adrian. What a great bloke! This house has everything you need and more! Pool table, darts board, karaoke machine, jacuzzi, small pool and even flashing lights! Ady was super responsive and helpful.

Lynda is a brilliant host and had tea, coffee, milk and fruits ready for us before we arrived. The place was very clean and felt like home. Kids loved the place and the board games. The icing on the cake is the location as, it is next to Ocean edge. She responded promptly for any questions we had. We have enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return back if we visit surrounding places. Thank you very much for hosting us Lynda, we had a great time.

What a welcoming weekend we have had , really responsive hosts and very kind, left us and the kids little easter gifts. Home was spotless! Really felt like our home for the weekend, first time we have been to a haven site and we will definetly be returning. Great communication, 100% recommend thank you for such a lovely stay! xxx

Family of 4 stayed 3 nights in October 2024 and it was just what we needed. Had some beautiful long walks along the beach. The caravan was home from home, clean and cosy. It had everything you could want for cooking a simple breakfast to Sunday Roast. Clean and respectful surroundings around the park. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

We had a great time at this property with family members ranging from 2-88 years old. The house is typical Blackpool quirky, some dampness in areas and a bit creaky but this didnt alter our expereince. plenty wee extras such as toilet roll, crisps, loaf and even butter! Choice of board games and some books. My MIL would have been happier if there was a teapot so if this is important to you bring one. Overall fab weekend in great accomodatiom, good location for us and plenty of space. Thanks Mitchell!

Had a great few days stay at Willow Cottage. From the start Jo was really informative, with clear instructions on check in. On entering the property it is exactly as advertised and pristine throughout. The sofas and beds are extremely comfortable - particularly after a day of walking! Jo has kindly provided information folders and leaflets on the local area and places worth a visit, including travel times. I would recommend the beaches at Haverigg and Millom, together with Betty’s Beach Hut, all within walking distance of the cottage. Thank you also for the lovely bottle of wine and snacks - that was a lovely gesture which I thoroughly enjoyed! 😊

Onyx House is the perfect hen party location. The whole house is so modern and beautifully decorated to a really high standard and quality. The location right on the waterfront was perfect and we really were blown away with the facilities. Highly recommend for large groups! Best accommodation we’ve ever booked via Airb&b every detail has been well thought out. Pictures don’t do it justice. Housekeeper was super helpful and welcoming and helped us with any queries well in advance and during our stay

Great accommodation for a large family get together. We were a party of 9 and there was absolutely plenty of room. Accommodation was spacious, well equipped and spotless, one of the cleanest air bnb’s I have stayed in. Great location in St Anne’s , handy for the beach , shops and pubs/ restaurants. Great comms with Alex and Helen, super prompt. Nice to have the early check in and check out options , would also recommend the hot tub!

Beautiful lake view !! Very scenic!! we spent easter break in this lovely house, Beautiful and romantic surroundings. Highly recommend for Nature lovers!! this place offers comfort and stunning views. Alot to do around this area. James is really friendly, helpful host and always responsive. Overall positive experience!

Such a lovely little house for the four of us (kids 9 and 12). The estuary beach is seconds away and lots of fun to be had here (although keep an eye on the tide times). The best of the lake district is around 20 mins away in a car including Scafell. Greg was very helpful remotely. The car charger was great. We really enjoyed this mini break and will definitely be booking again. Thanks!
