The house was very lovely and all we needed since we were only staying for 3 nights. It was very convenient making it only a few minutes away from all the places we went to.The bed was also comfy and the house had a lovely cozy,homely feel to it.They did provide some mil and biscuits which was very kind.Overall we loved our stay and would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful 8-day stay at Borrowdale. The home is in a lovely neighborhood. It comfortably sleeps 8 people, has a well-stocked kitchen, and has a good sized dining area. The Keswick town center is easily accessible via a 5-minute walk as were multiple hikes starting points, such as Cat Bells. Jocelyn was responsive and helpful to our questions. Highly recommend!

A lovely property in a great location. The house is very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and lovely bedroom. It is an ideal base for exploring this area of Northumberland, which is very attractive.(We were walking the northern stages of the Pennine Way.)

Juliet Cottage felt like coming home! Great location. Easy to find. Cosy and comfortable. Everything you need is there, plus more as the welcome gifts are wonderful. I’d say it’s roomier than the pictures show. Would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you to Louise and her team.

Lovely, traditional terraced house in a fabulous location. Walking distance to great restaurants and pubs. Spotlessly clean and lovely comfortable beds. Jackie was very helpful and friendly.

Clare's lovely house was a perfect base for Harrogate - a quiet road and yet easily walkable to many nice restaurants and shops. The kitchen is very well equipped. We appreciated very lovely quality white linen on beds.Clare was very helpful and prompt in advance on entry instructions and other queries we had.

Perfect house for exploring the area. In a quiet street but within a short walk to the local station, main street and pubs and restaurants. Alweena was the perfect host. Would highly recommend.

Great host, clear instructions and quick to respond. We had no issues at all with the property but if we did Tilly would have sorted immediately. Can’t recommend enough 🎉

Wonderful place, lots of space for 5 of us. Great location. Lots of good places to eat - the Butter End pub is great. So is Shills of Cockermouth. As well as all the independent coffee shops. My only wish is it had recycling bins.

The apartment was stunning and BIG, there was everything you needed from cooking to showering to sleeping. I would definitely stay again and would recommend. The town was a 2 minute walk where you would fine great places to eat and drink. The hosts were exceptional, kind and trustworthy for them to kindly use there home. Many thanks Lee &Joanna.

A well equipped, comfortable house overlooking Hebden Bridge and just a short walk from the town centre. It would be an ideal base for a longer stay.

From booking right through to leaving the property, everything was perfect! Christian met me at the door and showed me around explaining how things worked and where everything was. He let me know he was available should I have needed anything. The home was truly wonderful. Pristine, calm and peaceful. I felt at home as soon as I walked in the door and had everything you might need for a short break. Christian made sure to leave some welcome goodies too, which is a very special touch! The bed was wonderful with the most comfy pillows. A coffee machine with real coffee, a rainfall shower which is divine and so much more. I could not recommend Christian's home more, one of the best I have stayed in by far! Thank you Christian for being so welcoming and thoughtful with every aspect of your property. I will definitely be back & will recommend to my friends too!

Joanne’s place was fabulous! We were sad to leave! It was spotless, the beds were so comfortable and we had everything we could possibly need. The place was a short walking distance to the incredible town of Saltaire. We stayed for 5 nights and could have easily stayed another 5! We highly recommend this beautiful home.

Great house in a peaceful but walkable location. Extremely well equipped Kitchen and furnished very well. The only added bonus would have been a small bottle of milk but there is a spar 2 minutes away.

The accommodation was beautiful, great design features, clean and welcoming.

Great place to stay, cosy with lots of character. Lynne had left us a pint of milk, there were teabags and coffee, some butter, a first aid kit... made us feel so welcome. We were only there a night but would definitely have been very happy to stay longer.

Our 3rd visit to Huxley retreat and will definitely be returning next year!! A fantastic home, with everything and more! We love the area as it’s great to be able to walk into Amble around the harbour, Morrisons across the road. Druridge bay beach is only 10 minutes in the car or Warkworth. Dave and Eleanor are very helpful and we always are made to feel welcome into there home! Thank you ☺️

Had a nice stay.. the place is very clean and well equipped for both adult and kids. Also very close to high street! The host was very helpful and responsive!!
