Lovely comfortable, well equipped home. John and Dorothy were really friendly and welcoming hosts. nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were delicious.

Beautiful warm clean accommodation . The bed was the most comfortable I’ve slept in. Bathroom was large, very clean and hot water. Julie left us a wide choice of breakfast including vegan, lovely. Very private and quiet, parking. Attention to detail was great “sheep” .

Perfect place for our needs for 3 nights away. Fantastic location for both shops/bars/restaurants and Jesmond Dene. We were able to walk into the city, along the quayside, and through Ouseburn via Heaton Park and Jesmond Dene back to the place. It’s a great walk and highly recommend it. Joanne is a great host. Perfect in terms of instructions for access, parking, and recommendations. The place is clean and cosy. What more can you ask for.

Our sentimental journey back to High Hoyland was spent in grand style at All Hallows. An unforgettable experience.

Me and a group of friends stayed here over Easter and it was the most incredible place. Anton and Penny were so helpful and lovely. The complimentary breakfast and food at the pub was so delicious and the yurt was so cosy, clean and well put together. Would definitely come back to this Airbnb. Penrith was a 15 minute drive away and the village was very picturesque. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing stay with some very helpful hosts

We had an absolutely wonderful stay with Sian who is a wonderful host! We thoroughly enjoyed chatting with her about shared interests and the local area as she showed us around the beautiful and immaculately presented house (which is even better than the photos). Our room was spotless and beautifully furnished. Location was ideal, on the edge of the stunning village of Grassington surrounded by countryside, walks, swims and plenty of other attractions well placed nearby. Lovely sheltered and private spot, excellent breakfasts to set you up for your days adventures! We love it here and can't wait to come back! Thank you Sian!

I stayed at Phillipa's overnight en route to holiday further north. She had provided helpful directions and was very welcoming on my arrival. I accepted her kind offer to walk with me into Ripon centre and she gave me helpful information about places of interest. My room was very comfortable with an excellent shower in the en suite. I would certainly return if heading north again.

Stayed for three nights and was made to feel welcome from the minute I arrived. Met Bonnie and some staff and they were all lovely and friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and bathroom also. Perfect location in the heart of Windermere. If I ever go back again I’ll be staying with Bonnie again. Thank you for everything

Gary's place was clean, cozy, and everything we could have asked for. There was a great breakfast provided. On top of that Gary was a fantastic host. He provided a flexible check-in, gave out great tips, and let us play with his puppy Oscar.

Heather and Craig were very helpful and friendly, with great communication and local recommendations. Everything in the room was high quality and the location was fantastic for access both to the lake and town centre. The breakfast was delicious!

Diane was a very responsive host and an extremely lovely person. She and Ian were very helpful, the location of the BnB was excellent, the room was lovely and clean with a comfortable bed and nice hot shower. Diane’s cooking was also incredible, we enjoyed two very lovely breakfasts. We would absolutely stay again!

We have just got back from a couple of nights staying here. Michelle was a brilliant host, very welcoming and easy to get hold of prior to our stay. She put a birthday banner in our room as it was my husbands 30th during our stay which was a lovely touch. The room was clean and tidy, a great selection of tea and coffee in the room as well as homemade biscuits everyday! The breakfast was great, lots of choice and something for everyone. The B&B was very clean and modern. Great location with dog friendly pubs in very close walking distance, great walks including Janet Ross and Malham cove all well signposted. Michelle also provided doggy towels in reception to wipe the pooches muddy paws! We will definitely be returning, brilliant stay! ☺️

I booked two rooms via Airbnb and paid £105 which I thought was the price for the two rooms and immediately wrote a note to Karen to explain why I needed two rooms for two people. I had no response until the day before the free cancellation cut off. On that day Karen sent a message saying there would be an extra small charge. I sent a message back asking what it was for and how much. I didn't get a response until after the free cancellation time had past. The extra charge was £50 for the extra room. It was too late for me to find a different place so had to go ahead and pay the extra on arrival. The rooms were lovely, clean and lots of care had been taken to make our stay comfortable. Karen and Phil were lovely too. The whole experience was tarnished for me by the extra money I had to find at such short notice.

Lovely welcoming house and hosts, in a beautiful area with outstanding countryside, lakes & hills. Room had all facilities , restful and comfy ; attention to detail exceptional and a brilliant breakfast in the room . Recommend !

Great stay with Tony and his cat Smudge. Peaceful and private, with helpful recommendations for local amenities. Loved his pottery so much I even bought a piece as a souvenir! Would recommend. Perfect location.

Julia is very friendly and easy to stay with - I also appreciated the use of the kitchen and other areas of your very tidy home. Very walkable location, close by to the Metro and also some local shops which are handy for food/anything you may need. I will not hesitate to book again if available and highly recommend to anyone needing somewhere to say locally if you are looking for a home away from home!

My two friends and I had a wonderful stay at Sara’s. Sara gave us a special Isaac’s Tea Trail package providing dinner as well as bed and breakfast. The meals were all delicious, and very appreciated as we were on foot and unable to drive to nearby pubs. The house and location is beautiful and we were greeted with tea, warm crumpets and a log fire - perfect after a long wet walk. The room was very comfortable and spacious. Sara is a fantastic warm host and so interesting to talk to. I’d highly recommend staying - you won’t want to leave though.

Our stay at Dominic and Elaine's home was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms by the kindest and friendliest hosts we’ve ever met. They truly went above and beyond with personal touches that made us feel right at home. Their attention to detail and thoughtfulness did not go unnoticed! The house itself is absolutely stunning—every corner beautifully designed and immaculately kept. We were constantly in awe of the space and comfort. But what truly made our stay memorable was the incredible breakfast they prepared. It was not only delicious but felt like it was made with such care and love. If you’re looking for a stay that feels both luxurious and warm, we cannot recommend Dominic and Elaine's place enough. We left feeling like we had made new friends, and we’ll definitely be back!
