we had an amazing stay. the hosts were brilliant with directions, local things to do. we were staying for a wedding close by. They offered us a lift to save a taxi fare ( not needed but very much appreciated) pointed us in the direction of the river so my wife could go for a wild swim. the dogs are great and came with us whilst we were outside and super friendly. the accommodation was perfect for our needs and we will definitely return for another peaceful stay in Northumberland. we left super early to go collect the kids after the wedding and we were given bacon rolls in lovely cheese bread bun. so nice and got us through the long drive. 10/10 stay thank you so much for hosting us. Peaceful comfortable flat with a garden view. Bowness town is only a couple of hundred metres away and has lots of options for food and things do. Lovely clean kitchen and sparkling new bathroom and the most comfortable king bed and linen. Peter is a fantastic host and very responsive when contacted. We really enjoyed our stay at Scotty’s

We loved our time here. It was so beautifully styled. Just the size to chill out in after long walking days. Comfy beds, everything we needed. Loved how close it was to the village strip and Boots just next to the train station.

The Snug met our needs exactly, and Alison had thoughtfully left many extras in the kitchen to make our stay comfortable. We were sad to leave! Perfect location for exploring one of the most scenic stretches of Hadrian's Wall, very convenient for some of the best sites. We are already planning to book again next year.

The host gave very detailed instructions allowing for an easy check in. The flat was very clean and in an excellent location, close to restaurants and the lake. I would happily stay here again

Great place! Super spacious and spotless.. comfortably fit three of us. I really enjoyed the quirky style and colorful decor, and there were plenty of books and games to keep us entertained during downtime. Siobhan was very responsive and helpful throughout. The location is fantastic, easy to walk to shops and restaurants, but still nice and quiet. Plus, the views from the window were a lovely bonus!

We had a lovely stay at the studio. It was spotlessly clean and with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Parking was easy and safe, with excellent public transport links to Newcastle Centre and the coast. Lots of information about what to do in the area which we found very helpful. Lynne and Gary were both very friendly and welcoming. We felt right at home. We would definitely stay again next time we visit Newcastle. Thank you both!

Such a steal last minute booking on a bank holiday, we were so surprised it hadn’t been booked being in such a central location and obviously the hot tub which is always a big swading point for us. The bathroom was absolutely gorgeous. So spacious for 2. The hot tub was a lovely temp with a little cover above us which helped with privacy from other houses and the rain. Though there was a little tear or two in it which meant rain seeped through but this didn’t bother us. We were a little taken back there wasn’t a microwave either but again this wasn’t an issue. Everything was spotless. Round the corner from one of our favourite pubs (the crafty baa) and plenty of food, drink and shops around. Thank you so much for having us, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay xx

First of all, I am very grateful to harword for helping me deliver the things we left in the bedroom in time, so that we didn't leave any regrets before leaving UK . Harword's house is our most most love house, and the environment is definitely many times better than the photos. There are two rooms, a big bed room, a double bed, a big kitchen and living room. The kitchen is well equipped and very clean. We bought food and cooked by ourselves and had a very pleasant two days. Malt Kiln is about 40 minutes to an hour away from Wendell Lake. Because the village path is very narrow, we drive slowly, but the scenery is beautiful and the cattle and sheep flock together, which is a visual enjoyment. highly recommended here. Janet's cake is very delicious, thank you also.

Our stay at Heather’s place was perfect! Would highly recommend. Heather welcomed us into the property with lovely fresh bakes awaiting us. The apartment was modern and comfortable, with everything we needed. It was immaculately clean and surprisingly spacious for us and our two small children. The location is fantastic, right in the centre of Bentham near all the local restaurants and amenities. Plenty of free parking available. Really close to some great local walks around Bentham, and nearby to Ingleton Falls and other attractions. We loved our stay at Heather’s place and would happily stay again! :)

This place has beautiful views of Ullswater across the gardens day and night, a comfortable bed, suitably equipped kitchen area, and feels well located for exploring around the local area. We had a lovely few days here getting out in nature, and enjoyed a meal at the Inn on the lake in Glenrriding 15 mins away, and a Sunday dinner at the Brakenrigg pub at the bottom of the road. There’s waterfalls, walks and boat rides all within a short drive, and Matt got in touch via message and email prior to our stay, so we felt there would be communication if there was anything we needed.

What a beautiful place to stay! Thank you Jerry for having such a well maintained apartment - including a full kitchen so we could self cater. The whole place was also so snug and cosy and the bed was super comfy. Perfect place to just relax after a full day exploring! Fab location with stunning views overlooking fells - quiet area, barely knew others were about. Apartment well looked after, clean and tidy. Bonus having access to the gym, sauna & spa. Amazing apartment! The cleanest Airbnb we've ever stayed at! Perfect location right in the middle of Windermere, easy to drop bags off, good parking 1 min walk away. Liam was amazing and all the staff at The Tilly were really fantastic! Very kind and made it extra special as it was our honeymoon and able to take puppy with us! so close to everything we wanted to do, drive, walk or take the bus! Apartment was beautifully furnished, brilliant WiFi and TV, lovely nights out and nights in, highly recommend the fish shop just round the corner! Thank you again for making our honeymoon so memorable and perfect! Will definitely stay again and have recommended to friends and family ❤️

This is a great place to stay in Keswick! Great location for bars, restaurants and walks you can do walking out of the front door. The apartment was clean, well furnished and little touches like tea, coffee, hot chocolate and milk were all appreciated! Would definitely recommend!

Billy and his wife were very welcoming. We had a cake baked for us and the apartment was very clean and homely.

Very romantic, comfortable and clean ideal for a weekend away with lovely scenery and trails. Shopping is minimal take what is needed however teas and sugars were provided which was lovely and the hot tub was gorgeous.

We stayed here for a week and had an amazing time. The location is perfect, within walking distance to Windermere town (about 10 mins) and also Bowness (about 20 mins). The accommodation was spacious and clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Gary and Ange were fantastic hosts, they made us feel very welcome whenever we bumped into them and went above and beyond to return a personal item we accidentally left behind. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again next time we visit the Lake District.

A lovely loft - perfect and just what we needed for our 2 day mini-break. The loft was much bigger than we anticipated so that was a lovely surprise. The little touches were great too - fresh towels, milk, butter, instructions for the hot tub, even some jigsaws for the rainy afternoon. Everything we needed. The outdoor space was so peaceful. Even though we were on the farm’s property, we felt right at home, comfortable and had the privacy we wanted. The neighbours were adorable - cows and their calves! The outdoor space was secure for our two dogs. Plenty of room for them to stretch their legs and play on the grass. Thanks for a great stay!

What a truly wonderful little place, there is so much to do for the kids and my two really did enjoy it! The apartment was absolutely stunning, spotless and also very spacious. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to book a trip away to the lakes be it with children or without. We will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful cozy farmhouse in a lovely town near Leeds. The place was absolutely gorgeous - warm, inviting, and full of charm. The hot tub was amazing, and there were plenty of games to enjoy. The host was super helpful and thoughtful with great local recommendations as well as leaving crumpets, fresh milk and butter and a selection of cereals and snacks for us to enjoy. No negatives, highly recommend!
