Yorkshire VW Camper - Retro VW T2 Campervan

KellyRating, 5 stars46 months ago
A really lovely experience. Never done anything like this before so wasn’t sure what to expect. We had a warm welcome from the hosts who answered all our questions. Liz was very informative before our arrival. Murdock is so much fun, everyone should give it a go x

Brilliant first time in a campervan. The van was spotless and Martin was a great guy to deal with. We had a lovely time exploring the lovely Lake District and wild swimming. The van was easy to drive and amazing on fuel! We will definitely hire it again in the future! Thank you

The Horsebox

CatherineRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Loved waking up to the view of the lake every morning (we'll miss the ducks as they were entertaining to watch!). Being able to open up the horsebox and lay out on the sofa bed was a great feature. Berb was very welcoming and helpful, he even found us some sweetcorn as we had nothing for bait for fishing. A peaceful experience overall - we'd love to return.
A spacious tent structure is set on a grassy area, featuring a large wooden deck with seating arrangements. The canvas sides provide a natural feel, while large windows allow for ample light. A solitary tree stands nearby, complementing the serene outdoor setting.

JennyRating, 5 stars36 months ago
We had a great stay. Chris was very welcoming and on hand if we needed anything. The location was idyllic...we arrived to see hares and partridges in the field. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed a BBQ and watching the sunset. Tent was very comfortable. Our girls (10, 7) loved the cabin bed and said they had the best time! Thank you to Chris. We hope to be back again.

Bells @ Stone Raise Bell 3

JulieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had such a great stay! Emma was so helpful, great communication before our arrival, the fire pit was great & being able to get a tub of wood for £5 from Emma was great! Beautiful location, peaceful & quiet & lovely walks locally & we used it as a base to climb cross fell. Clearly stated it was a working farm & basic facilities which were as expected & good for what we needed! We shall be back!

Thank you so much to Gary and family for a perfect stay, we wanted something different for my best friends birthday and it was so lovely! Gary was so helpful from the beginning, even put out banners and prosecco for when we arrived, we loved being surrounded by the animals and the view from the adorable caravan was so relaxing. So much thought and care was put into every single aspect of our stay and we will definitely recommend to our friends and family, we hope to come back at some point soon :)

Primrose Shepherd Hut

NicolaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Stayed at the Primrose Cabin and was just perfect. So peaceful and quiet. Cabin was really clean and just perfect for the two of us. We took food for the bbq/firepit but if we were to go again would probably get a takeout pizza from the restaurant. Really easy to find with lovely surroundings.

The Hideaway Hut. (Shepherds Hut)

StephanieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I just want to say a big thank you to Jo and her dad for building a fully off grid shepherds hut that is beautiful inside and out. We booked very last minute due to an issue where we were camping, Jo quickly accepted our request and communicated with us in a prompt and friendly manner. We arrived at Jo’s hut at nearly 8pm and she went above and beyond making sure we were looked after and was waiting for us to show us the basics which was a lovely touch. The hidaway hut has been crafted in a way that you have everything you need should you forget anything. Jo is extremely friendly and attentive and will make sure you have a lovely stay! Although it was a short stay of only a few hours we had such a good nights sleep and will definitely be coming back in the future!

Peggy's Cabin at Nabby Nook - Dog Friendly!

BenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A hidden gem! One of two cabins on this magical site in the woods just west of Hebden Bridge. Both cabins are lovely, very cozy and warm even when it's cool outside. The site is rustic with outhouses and shared DIY kitchen, but it's exactly what you would want in this kind of place. Incredibly peaceful and secluded in the middle of trees. We parked near the main road and walked in — an easy walk up grassy hills, even with a six year old. Six minute drive to Hebden Bridge. Hosts friendly and communicative while also giving you plenty of space. Can't wait to go again.

Hedgehog Hideaway, experience the best of nature!

RuthRating, 5 stars7 months ago
This was a beautiful place to stay, right in the countryside but not too far from small market towns. I never imagined that our stay here would be as lovely as it was, the place was very clean and cosy, the log burner was perfect, the bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, our host was there to greet us and show us around and give us helpful information abour the area. We were made to feel very welcome and we will definitely be back!

Bramble Retro Caravan

KimRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Peaceful and chilled break at the beautiful howdy camping. We were glamping in brambles caravan and had a lovely chilled break. Everybody on site is very friendly, Andri the host was quick to communicate with clear instructions on how to get there and any little queries we had. The caravan is a lovely little spot to stay with its own covered outdoor kitchen, perfectly sufficient for making bacon sandwiches and other bits and pieces. My favourite was the fire chimney, perfect for feeling relaxed and chilled. We would definitely be back. There's also a great local pub not far down the road 🤩
