Enjoy your private lakefront cabin! Spend a day on the lake and take advantage of your private dock (dock is seasonal due to winter water levels being low) Bring your boat (trailer parking on property) or use our kayaks to paddle around the cove. After your lake day, retreat to this cozy bungalow on a wooded lot. Grill-out and enjoy the outdoor eating area, sit by the fire or chill on the deck overlooking the lake. Close to boat ramps and marinas who offer gas dock, boat rentals and restaurants.

Sweet 2 bedroom bungalow. Cozy, ideal for lovers, or a quiet beautiful somewhat rustic retreat environment. Rooster has 1 full bath. Living room with satellite TV, Netflix; wood burning stove fireplace, wood provided, fully equipped kitchen, dining table, linens and starter paper goods furnished. Large deck and screen porch looking out on Cacapon Mountain. Hot tub off master bedroom deck in trees, feels like a tree house. Many mornings mist rises up from river, half mile away as crow flies.

The Red House on Cross Lake

This is a Cross Lake cabin that we renovated from an old catfish restaurant built in the early 1930's. We call it the RED HOUSE. There are three cabins on the property that we also use for visiting family and friends. We live on the property behind the houses and we all use the property and pier. Guest also have use of the pier/boat house. The house is at the end of the road on the lake. Although family also uses the property the cabin is quiet and private with a great view of the open lake.

Mountain Paradise

Mountain living and close to nature. Property is visited daily by one or more locals, deer, elk, red and black fox, a mountain lion, black horned squirrels, Setlers Jays. & Hummingbirds. North side deck has the Creek just below. A grassy sand beach along the creek , with picnic table and firepit at your disposal. Freshly updated one bedroom bungalow with two decks awaits you. All new interior boasts a 2 person shower, beautiful queen poster bed with deluxe mattress. TV, Wifi & land line.
