What a great spot! This is a very unique place, the first smart home we’ve stayed in & we got to grips with it very quickly, and not to mention so cosy! We honestly felt right at home soon as we arrived, and the location had an amazing view, and had lots of extra toiletries (if you forget anything like we did). Both Sinead & Gareth were very responsive if we needed anything, certainly recommend staying here. Extra points for the huge smart TV perfect for our movie night! Thank you for a lovely stay 😊

Excellent apartment, spacious, well equipped, comfortable and peaceful. Car parking great, easy access & adjoining unit. Clitheroe was a surprise, a pleasant surprise - easy walking, great food shops and access to some great countryside drives. Tina’s recommendations on foodie spots and city high points were excellent. Highly recommended.

The Snug met our needs exactly, and Alison had thoughtfully left many extras in the kitchen to make our stay comfortable. We were sad to leave! Perfect location for exploring one of the most scenic stretches of Hadrian's Wall, very convenient for some of the best sites. We are already planning to book again next year.

We had a lovely stay at Will & Dawn’s place. They’re very friendly and helpful in providing all the instructions and information we needed ahead of our trip. Our children love playing (and feeding!) their rabbits & hamsters and the indoor heated swimming pool was simply a bonus to have when it’s raining outside. The place was very cosy & clean and it’s a great location to explore Northumberland!

Great location just outside of grasmere - always a plus if you can set off on your walk from the doorstep

Enjoyed our stay at Kate's place for a second visit. Has all the amenities we needed and we can feel very relaxed there. Kate was very helpful with our booking. She dealt very promptly with one minor maintenance issue. She's a thoughtful host and there were fresh flowers, milk and biscuits to welcome us. We enjoyed chatting to Kate. Suzanne and Ian are both great and very flexible. They are also very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was spotless and well equipped. The bed was comfortable with lovely crisp bedding! The location is good and it’s very secure. It’s also very central and very easy to get around the area. We would highly recommend staying here to anyone. You will be very well looked after!

Everything you need to make yourself at home and more – like milk and butter and eggs already in the fridge, biscuits and sweets and coffee pods and teabags and and ... Really comfy bed! 10 minutes walk into Holmfirth (loads of eateries and quirky pubs - try the Nook!) Scenic rambles on your doorstep Really quiet We'll be back :-)

We had a wonderful stay! The property was delightful with many outstanding features. Very nicely equipped too and the beds so comfortable. Stunning views and space around was perfect. The hosts were excellent...very informative, alwayszavailable and extremely friendly. We'd definitely like to stay here again. The young children loved it too.

Beautiful home away from home, very family friendly. The house has very contemporary look and feel, lots of character and beautifully decorated. We visited for the weekend with our two children (7months and 5 years), enough space for all of us including everything we needed for the baby. We liked the convenience of self check in and check out, and the location was perfect- short walk or drive to the town.

Fantastic stay with dear friends in Ambleside. The house was beautiful, the beds were comfy, the hot tub was great, and it was only a two minute walk to the shops in Ambleside. Perfect weekend and we would all come back. Highly recommend.

A wonderful house in a lovely location! As a large group comprising a 19 month old, an almost 3 year old, a 5 year old, two 30-something couples and a couple celebrating their 70th birthdays this year, nobody wanted for anything. The house is furnished to a very high specification, everything is spotlessly clean, and there is plenty of space for everyone to socialise together. The kitchen is very well equipped and the view from the back garden (and the hot tub) is beautiful. The games room is also a nice touch! We had a very enjoyable stay and would not hesitate to recommend this house.

The drive to the cottage from easedale road, with around 5/6 gates, didn’t phase us at all. I wouldn’t recommend driving along the tracks in a hatchback, but in an SUV it was fine. Also currently in the middle of a drought, so no wet mud to contend with. As I’m young and fit I just jogged between the gates while husband followed in car behind. Check in was fine, the usual key box as with most Airbnb’s, which I prefer over a physical host. Cottage was great, lovely place, gardens and views amazing. It didn’t quite say in the listing, but the whole garden is shared with the other property - it’s massive so space isn’t an issue, it’s more that with dogs this means you have to be constantly watchful which isn’t relaxing - if there was a boundary like a small fence with chicken wire, you could let the dogs roam in peace with the doors open. The mattress was way too hard on the kind size bed for preference, and the other property had a 30 min shower at 2am so I didn’t sleep well sadly.

The venue is stunning, the photos do not do it justice! Everyone has everything the need in each room with their own en suite and the grandness of the building is something else! You have so much space, the large garden area wraps around back and side and is beautiful with stunning views! Everything you could need in the kitchen and welcome bottle very kindly provided by our hosts! Plenty of entertainment and eating areas! When leaving one of our cars broke down and they were very understanding and accommodating! Perfect location, made our stay extra special!

The house was plenty big enough for 5 of us, an added bonus of having 2 bathrooms when there's a few of you. The kitchen was the best equipped kitchen we have ever stayed in, I cooked a Sunday roast there and it was lovely to have a dishwasher to take care of all the pots. Simba next doors dog was an added bonus for us he was there every morning ready for a walk in the orchard or field with us. We saw peacocks, hares and hedgehogs whilst staying here. Matthew was kind enough to show us all some hedgehogs they were rehabilitating and told us about future plans they had for the surrounding area. A very enjoyable stay for us all in the countryside

A Perfect Getaway! I stayed at this charming cottage and couldn’t be more pleased. The place was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated. Every little detail was thoughtfully arranged, from the well-equipped kitchen to the comfy beds. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive, making the entire experience seamless. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing retreat — I’ll definitely be coming.

Julie's place is perfect for stay in Lake District. is is very clean and tidy spacious bedrooms with ensuite to both bedrooms. what i liked the most which is definitely the biggest value add for this property is, 1- the Kitchen is Very well equipped & Clean and 2- Smart TV in every room makes it perfect for unwinding and TLC indoors. really enjoyed the stay will visit again.

This was my second time staying at Ben and Kate's place. I would definitely recommend it if you're looking to stay somewhere peaceful but within a few minutes walking distance into the town centre. They have the comfiest bed and leave delicious chocolates too.

Great location, cozy apartment, helpful and friendly hosts. The apartment was exactly as advertised and was spotless. Only an easy 10 minute walk to Keswick centre. Would recommend!

Our week in this lovely apartment sped by too quickly! It was beautifully decorated with cosy lounges and chairs and very comfortable beds. The kitchen had more than we needed and all appliances were easy to use. The location was faultless - everywhere was so accessible from here! Pubs, cafes and restaurants were just across the road - where we headed after long hikes each day. We felt very sad to leave and look forward to returning one day soon 👍👋❤️

Lovely compact place with everything we needed. Beautifully clean. Lots of little nice touches. 10 minute walk from the local pub. 10 minute drive to the Sycamore Gap car park. Recommend the twice Brewed pub and brewery :)

The place was everything we dreamed of when we stayed. From the moment we first got there Dean and Kerry were so welcoming and so was their little family, always offered help when we needed it as we had trouble setting the tv up dean was super helpful. The place was so cozy and homely you felt right at home the moment you stepped in. It was so peaceful and the perfect little getaway. Everything was in walking distance or just a short drive away. Will definitely be staying again ☺️
