Cottage vacation rentals in Province of Pistoia

Unique, authentic and clean! We were looking for a place where to stay in the mountains and still have the Italian authentic small vila - and we found it. It was rainy when we stayed, but it didn’t changed our plans and the vibe as the villa itself has the coziness that fits any weather. Highly recommended place to stay if you want to feel the unique and authentic vibe.

This was our second time at Il Vichiaccio and I hope it's not the last. In fact, this Airbnb is the entire reason we had Tuscany on our trip itinerary. Beatrice and Massimo are the most wonderful hosts in the world. Besides simply being great people to chat with, they are hospitable in providing some of their homemade wine and eggs. There's nothing more special than relaxing in the hot tub with the vineyard views and walking up the hill to dinner at Il Cavaliere in the castle. Our only complaint is that we did not see the kitty cat this time! She was our favorite host when we visited 3 years ago. Oh well, I guess we'll have to book again soon and try once more :)

The cottage is immersed in nature and exactly as described: you can breathe a lot of tranquility. The outdoor hot tub was wonderful, and the owners took care to let us find the water at a perfect temperature. They were also very helpful in adapting to our needs and schedules, if there is an opportunity we will definitely come back in the future.

The place was amazing with a magnificient view to the Mountains. Overall a great expierience there.. a quiet relaxin time at the AirBnB. Thank you again!

Sara and Brian are truly amazing hosts—proactive, kind, and fascinating to talk to. Their home is enchanting, like stepping into a real fairytale. You can feel how much love and care they’ve poured into every detail. It’s one of the most spectacular places we’ve ever stayed in! Not only is the house and the garden magical, but it’s also so practical and thoughtfully equipped, providing everything you could think of to make your stay comfortable. The gym was fantastic, and the house had plenty of space for two families. Even with 2 adults and 4 “monkeys” (our energetic kids), there was room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and celebrating New Year’s Eve with fireworks lighting up the entire region was an unforgettable experience. Thank you, Sara and Brian, for sharing your incredible home with us. We can’t wait to return!!!

The house is very spacious and the garden is really very pleasant. The kitchen and the master bathroom (huge) are renovated. We really appreciated that the rooms were air conditioned especially since we were there in the hottest period. However, we were surprised to have to buy garbage bags, as there was only one for each trash can, except for the compost that had several. Same for toilet paper, there was just 1 per bathroom. The pool was very hot and the garden was very well-equipped. We had a crib for an additional charge of €10/day which was a little expensive. There were children's toys, but no high chair (good to know). You should know that the access is a little bumpy and that you have to open your eyes to see the bend for the path that leads to the house. It has the advantage of being very quiet and private.

The place is located on top of the hill. It has been a pleasure to stay for a few nights at Federico's place. He has been really helpful when we asked questions, to find the place etc. It is a lovely family house. We did not test the jaccuzi because off season but I guess on sunny days it must be amazing. The view from the house is stunning.

Great place off the beaten path between Pisa and Florence for easy access. Beautiful, clean, and great breakfast (but the same daily - needs variety). The room was way too hot for me so I borrowed/confiscated an oscillating fan from the laundry room. Very peaceful and quiet with a great pool, but never had time to use it. Staff was very kind and helpful!!

We had a great stay! We stayed at Gianni's place for one month. The view from the lovely private garden is beautiful, especially the sunset! The house meets everything and is as in the pictures. There is a pleasant kitchen. Gianni is a very good host. He was very friendly, quick to respond and helpful. The village is about 15 minutes walking distance. You have several restaurants, a cafe, supermarket and pharmacy. For people who love cycling, it's the place to be. For the larger villages and cities, I recommend a car. We will definitely come back in the future!

We stayed here for less than two weeks and felt very comfortable. The house is very lovingly decorated and the outdoor area with the trees is wonderful for relaxing in great heat. Olivia and Jethro are very welcoming and you can tell how they care about these spots. Thank you

The location is superb, great views and has a very cosy feel. The kitchen and living area on the ground floor were spacious and welcoming, while the private terrace made for a lovely place to have breakfast with an amazing view every morning. The bathroom and bedroom, situated at the first floor, were very clean and well equipped and the view from the bed was amazing every day. Our host Fabio was very friendly, informative and helpful informing us about best times to visit the main tourist attactions of Tuscany and where we could find the best restaurants and shops in the area. All in all an amazing stay! Totally recommend!

We had a wonderful time! There is a great pool with seating. We would have liked more screens and on the second floor there was mold, but we could overlook these little things because of our good time, the great opportunity to sit together, the impressive view and the value for money.

Beautiful spacious house. Plenty of privacy because the house is completely free on top of a hill. The garden full of olive trees and oleanders together with the view complete the perfect picture. Excellent beds available and also equipped with all the basic things you need. The private swimming pool is top and with about 12x4m larger than you expect. The keys must be picked up in Montecatini Terme, a town nearby (about 10 to 15 minutes). The host will then drive you to the cottage. On the day of departure, the host came back to the cottage in the morning. Well arranged! You will be in Pisa, Lucca or Florence within the hour. In addition, there are many nice villages and good restaurants in the immediate vicinity. In short, had a wonderful time in a very nice vacation home. Highly recommended if you want to visit the previously mentioned cities, appreciate a stay in a quiet area and want to be able to relax on the edge of the pool in between.

Federica (and her lovely daughter) are the most friendly, welcoming and attentive hosts we have ever met! They will make sure you feel right at home. The house was spacious and well equipped. We were even able to do our laundry in the house itself! The pool is wonderful and surrounded by a well-tended garden with green grass and beautiful olive trees. We loved waking up with Marte (the dog) at our door, patiently waiting for a pet. Unfortunately we had some bad weather, but the house was comfortabel! We even ordered in pizza from La Fenice (highly recommended but keep cash on hand). Federica, thanks again for all you have done! It was a pleasure!
