Family-friendly vacation rentals in Province of Pistoia

We had a wonderful time with two families in the mill. It was a real adventure to be allowed to stay here. We baked delicious pizzas in the wood oven and swam in the river every day. The children loved jumping from the rocks into the water. Leticia was a great host who solved any problems we had flawlessly. We really hope to return to such a great place and host.

We had a super nice stay at the place! We would be greeted directly with a small gift basket. It was clean, had everything that was described and even more (playing facilities for my son) everything for washing laundry, etc. We were at various destinations such as Florence, Pisa, etc. and the cottage was a good starting point! :) If we had any questions or needed anything in general, we always received a response very quickly. I recommend the house with all my heart and would also go again for vacation :))

We are so happy to have found Simona’s place for our 6 day trip to Tuscany. We wanted an apartment which was centrally located in order to minimize driving times to/from the places we planned to visit, and Simona’s place was just it. Set on a very quiet residential road, the apartment was easy to find, with street parking available at any time of the day. Green views everywhere you look. The only sounds were the birds chirping. It was pure bliss. Her parents, Carmine and Annalisa, were delightful and extremely helpful, which we appreciated. They live next door and greeted us upon arrival. The apartment was fully equipped to accommodate my small family. It was spotless and warm. There are supermarkets close by as well as small shopping Centre. Overall, we really struck gold with this place and it comes highly recommended. Thank you Simona! We hope to visit again soon 🌼 Kristina, Eric and Emma (5) 😊

Like last year, I stayed here with my friends for the lucca comics, a super choice due to the peacefulness of the area and the spaciousness of the house

We had a wonderful stay and were able to use the property with fabulous views as a great starting point. The arrival was easy and we got up the driveway well. We received a fantastic starter package with coffee, noodles & co. The hot tub was a great pleasure for us and our children, even in cooler temperatures. We were there in the fall and therefore some stink bugs tried to take shelter in the house. We managed, but for sensitive guests this could be disruptive. All in all, we enjoyed our vacation very much! Thank you for the wonderful time!

Perfect stay thank you! Wow you really can't get a more central location, everything is minutes walk away. The place was spotless and the beds so so comfortable!!!! Much needed after a few busy days walking around Tuscany! Would highly recommend this place and will be back for sure!!

We had a fantastic stay at Gabriella's place in Italy. From the start, Gabriella was incredibly responsive, ensuring smooth communication before, during, and after our stay. The location was unbeatable, right in the heart of the city's best restaurants and attractions. Gabriella went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. She even arranged for a house cleaner during our stay and made it easy for them to access the apartment. Upon our arrival, she met us for coffee, gave us a detailed tour of the apartment, and ensured we could find everything we needed. When the air conditioner malfunctioned, she swiftly had technicians replace it, demonstrating her commitment to our comfort. The apartment itself was perfect, truly feeling like a home away from home. It was well-equipped with all necessary kitchenware, more towels than we could use, and ample storage space. Gabriella’s attentiveness and excellent communication made our stay exceptionally pleasant. We highly recommend it!

Very great apartment with a beautiful garden in an idyllic location. You have peace and quiet and yet you are very quickly in Pistoia, Prato or Florence. Edoardo is a great and accommodating host who also had tips ready for us.

Very nice, lovingly furnished apartment with a view. After a few steps, you are in the beautiful village. A car is highly recommended to be flexible and explore the area. There are plenty of free parking spaces everywhere in the region. In the low season, it is very untouristy and quiet. A trip to Pescia or by train from Pescia to Florence is highly recommended. My wife and I stayed at this agriturismo in Vinci, and it was perfect. The peaceful setting, breathtaking views, and beautiful pool made it feel like an authentic Tuscan escape. The house is charmingly traditional, and the owners were warm and welcoming. Amazing experience!

My family and I had a fabulous week of vacation in Stephano’s wonderful Tuscan house! You could not find a better host than Stephano, he went out of his way to help us find places to eat, tour guides and taxi drivers. The pizza lesson with chef Guido was a great experience for all ages. And the homemade meal was simply amazing, served by chef Fabrizio and his warm, smiling helpers. The house was perfect too, very spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. I highly recommend this house and experience for anyone who wants to discover the region and its culinary specialties, in a warm and welcoming home.

The location of the apartment is great. The garden is fantastic and there are comfortable loungers in different places on the premises. However, you have to know that this is a kind of basement apartment - but you can actually see that in the photos. Had both apartments rented from Elena as a grandparent was there and were super satisfied, as both apartments are very close to each other.

We had a fantastic week at Chiara & Cristiana’s house. It was a spacious and clean house, which was very well equipped. We loved the big kitchen table for family meals and our children had fun on the piano! The gardens were great. We enjoyed swimming in the beautiful big pool and playing ping pong! Chiara was always very helpful. Her parents were lovely too. Her dad gave us some delicious big home grown tomatoes! There was a nice pizzeria near by & a supermarket 10 minutes away. Thank you for a fabulous holiday!

We had a fantastic stay at the farmhouse which exceeded our expectations. The house was perfect for our stay with two bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen. The air conditioning was excellent and was most welcome during our stay in August. The pool is just amazing and it's close location to the house was ideal. Clotilde was very welcoming, very responsive and helpful. Clotilde offered us an opportunity to visit the vineyard and wine cellars and we were able to sample the wine produced there - this was a fantastic opportunity! There is a bank, bread shop and restaurant within a 10 minute walk and the supermarket is only 10 minutes drive away. We were only 20 minutes drive from Lucca and took the opportunity to catch a train to Pisa which worked well. I would fully recommend visiting and I hope we will be back again soon,

What a lovely place to stay. We had a great week at the property relaxing in the garden or by the pool. The house has a lot of charm and character. Pistoia also has a very quaint centre with some lovely restaurants and squares. Vittoria was very helpful as well - thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home. James

Lovely place to stay. Guilana was an amazing, very friendly, welcoming host. The space was exactly what I was looking for. The pool and garden area is sooo beautiful 😍 nice quiet, clean and cozy space. Absolutely loved my stay ☺️ highly recommend 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟❤️

Our 12-night stay was consistently positive, everything matched the description and pictures. We were able to enjoy a lot of time by the pool, especially in the heat we were very grateful for it. You should definitely be prepared for mosquitoes, which are sometimes very annoying, but the entire cottage is equipped with screens, so at least you have no problems inside. We were also grateful for the fans. Marta, Paolo and their families are very friendly and extremely accommodating hosts, we had a very nice time, thank you! Especially Pistoia is very worth seeing in the area, in Lucca there was very little going on in our time. The proximity to Florence is also very good.

The whole family was extremely nice and helpful. It felt like we were staying with friends. We all really want to come back again! Definitely the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at.

We had a fantastic stay at the wonderful Meriggio Barn. The photos don’t do this gorgeous property justice! The house itself is beautiful, classically decorated and expansive space and very well equipped kitchen. All three bedrooms were a great size and the air conditioning kept us nice and cool . The house is set within beautiful rolling Tuscan hills with great views all around, enabling us to enjoy stunning sunsets every evening. The infinity pool was absolutely fantastic - a lot bigger than we expected and we had lots of fun relaxing and keeping cool in the water. The location is great - 40 mins to Pisa and the same for Florence, so we enjoyed visiting those cities as well as getting the train from Florence to Rome. Elisa and the owner Adolfo were perfect hosts, helping us swiftly with any questions we had or recommendations required (the tip to drive and park at the tram stop was perfect, as well as the recommendations for the best local pizza!).
