Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Province of Pistoia

We stayed at Patricia's beautiful property which is a lovely old farmhouse, set in a peaceful countryside location but which is walkable to a town with shops, bars and a restaurant. The property has plenty of space and is filled with character. There was pleasant outside seating, a bbq with additional seating area, pool, gardens and off road parking. Patrizia was very helpful and kind and always on hand/email to answer any questions. The property was good value and we would be very happy to return to the property again.

Beautiful place. Clotilde is friendly and helpful. Tranquil large garden and fantastic pool. Great for kids, our one year old loved running around in the grass. Excellent kitchen for cooking at home. Location is very convenient to Lucca and some charming small towns. The Esselunga in Pescia (10 min drive) is one of the best supermarkets I’ve ever seen.

We had a lovely week at this place. In particular, the outdoor area was fantastic! Thank you and happy to come back!

The house is located in a quiet area with lots of greenery. Easy access to the road that leads to Florence and other Tuscan cities. Comfortable beds, equipped kitchen and various amenities. Paola and Francesco are exceptional hosts, showing attention and kindness in all interactions. We received valuable tips from Paola, who even helped us find and book tennis and pickleball courts. Highly recommended space for families traveling with children. We will definitely return more often!

We spent two weeks in the house and we had a fantastic time. After a challenging but beautiful ride up the hill, we were kindly welcomed by Benedetta's mother. She gave us directions for parking the car and gave us a tour. The house is even more beautiful than in the photos and the view is really fantastic. We were very surprised with the richly filled cupboard with food. All basic amenities were available towels, shampoo, herbs, detergent etc. After a week, we got clean bedding and towels and some treats. Vinci can be reached in about 10 minutes by car. There you can eat delicious ice cream and there are a number of restaurants. For larger groceries, you can find a Coop or Penny nearby within 20 minutes by car. It is a good base to explore Tuscany. For small children, there is not much play space around or around the house. So you need to bring enough entertainment.

Giuliana’s place was everything we were looking for. Supermarket was 5mins away, Pisa and Lucca were 30 or so mins away, and Florence 40. Any questions we had, Giuliana was always quick to answer and was very helpful. She genuinely cares about her guest and you can tell. I would definitely recommend!

My family and I stayed at Silvia’s place and had the best time. Silvia was very helpful with recommendations and quickly responded to all our questions from the moment we booked her place. If you love being in the mountains, you will absolutely fall in love with the breathtaking scenery. Her home was so beautiful and peaceful.

We spent 10 days in Rosanna's casa and it was wonderful. We woke up every morning to the sound of the Lima River and the singing of the birds. Breakfast on the balcony with wonderful views. We did a lot of beautiful hikes in the fascinating surroundings. But also Florence, Lucca, the Mediterranean Sea and the Apuan Alps were easily accessible for a day trip by car. Those who do not need luxury and hustle and bustle, but are looking for original nature and tranquility, will feel comfortable here. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

We needed to stay for more than one month and this one was a great solution - Grazia and her son helped us with everything. The surrounding is really beatuful, full of outdoor possibilities. We stayed during winter and the heating is carried out using fireplace. I can only recommend!

Two very pleasant nights. Very cozy accommodation with every comfort. Clean, very well organized and well maintained. Claudio was available for every little request, always responding quickly and in a friendly and clear manner. My family and I will definitely be back!

Casa Medicea is managed by Mrs. Graziella who welcomed us with kindness and hospitality, making us feel right at home. Casa Medicea is cozy and located in a village about half an hour from Florence. I recommend this place for those who want to enjoy a peaceful vacation just a short distance from beautiful Florence.

What a beautful place, really on top of the hill. The house was tastefully decorated and we felt at home, 2 nice and big sleeping rooms, the kitchen was simple (no dishwasher) but had everything we want. The garden was amazing. Very large, with beautiful views and different places to sit and enjoy nature. The hosts were very friendly. We didn't want to leave after a lovely week and certainly come back!

We had a great time. We felt right at home A comfortable mountain house with a nice fireplace with a perfect draft. Oven, independent heating. There are all the tools available Spaces are well designed. Although not very large, each of us could enjoy our own relaxing corner Very close to the facilities Nevicava and the private parking in front of the house was very convenient Quiet condo Sara was always active in responding to messages and proactive to solve problems (I had left the keys in the house) What can I say?! I found the accommodation clean, spacious, and with all the amenities that can be used for a pleasant stay, located in a quiet area that is easily accessible. The host welcomed me in a very kind and thoughtful way, providing me with all the necessary information. i highly recommend it

Great views, amenities good overall (e.g. fans available), in the kitchen the equipment and cleanliness could be improved, umbrella on the terrace is relatively small (but urgently needed in the summer months) very friendly welcome and good instruction from Cristina, shopping a little further away, but abundant in the valley, good starting point for Florence, Lucca, Pisa or the sea

We are so happy to have found Simona’s place for our 6 day trip to Tuscany. We wanted an apartment which was centrally located in order to minimize driving times to/from the places we planned to visit, and Simona’s place was just it. Set on a very quiet residential road, the apartment was easy to find, with street parking available at any time of the day. Green views everywhere you look. The only sounds were the birds chirping. It was pure bliss. Her parents, Carmine and Annalisa, were delightful and extremely helpful, which we appreciated. They live next door and greeted us upon arrival. The apartment was fully equipped to accommodate my small family. It was spotless and warm. There are supermarkets close by as well as small shopping Centre. Overall, we really struck gold with this place and it comes highly recommended. Thank you Simona! We hope to visit again soon 🌼 Kristina, Eric and Emma (5) 😊

Excellent stay in this magnificent Tuscan house where Elena welcomed us with good humor and great kindness. Thanks to her! The accommodation (an apartment in a house that has 2) is as described and well arranged for a family of 5 like ours (3 children from 10 to 5 years old). The pool (not too hot!) is a real plus because it was very hot during our stay! It is cleaned every morning discreetly. The kids loved playing with Primo the little cat and enjoying the large garden. We were afraid that the promiscuity with the other tenants was a problem (noises of children in the pool) but this was not the case. Luckily, we didn't have the same schedules and everything was done very naturally 😉 An important info: each room has its own, helpful fan. We also recommend leaving the windows and doors open at night, to enjoy the wind that blows very pleasantly in the evening. Grazie Mille!

The “Old Mill Place” was truly extraordinary. Our family loved it. We were a group of 12 family members and the facility had sufficient room, seperation, togetherness and wonderful history. My grandchildren loved playing in the creek and swimming in the pool. The location is out of the way but once you learned the route it was easy and only 5 minutes from town. We traveled to Florence, Lucca, Pisa, Viareggio, and Montecarlo easily. We went to town (Buggiano and Montecatini) daily and walked to Colle di Buggiano regularly (but the 10 minute hike is uphill) We absolutely would come back. Our only problem was with a local internet outage.

I have so much positive to say about this place! Despite what some reviews mention about the drive, it's absolutely worth it. There's a small restaurant just 2-3 minutes away, easy access to the city, and you're only about an hour from Pisa and some beaches. The house was perfect—everything well thought out and worth every penny. The pool was amazing, and the host was very responsive. If you're visiting in autumn or spring, bring warm clothes for the chilly evenings. We were sad to leave, and I can't wait to come back to this dreamy property!

A beautiful villa with exceptional views to the hills and valley. Various oudoor areas. Private location however close to sights and amenities. Cafes and restaurants not far however not walking distance, best accessed by own car. Electric bikes were available for sightseeing. Fantastic host, always responsive and helpful. Can warmly recommend.

The house and the view are absolutely magical. Spacious terrace, huge pool, a garden that is so big you can play hide and seek in. If you’re looking for a very quiet getaway, this is the right place to be. Careful, there really is nothing around!

Sabrina and Teresa greeted us at the gate of the villa when we arrived. Showed us around and were very responsive to us with any request during our stay. We had a relaxing and wonderful time. Many laughs, great meals, wine and a wonderful Villa with everything we needed and spectacular views. Thank you Sabrina and Theresa!!

We as a family had an amazing stay at Johns villa, all the pictures are good but in reality it exceeded our expectation. The pool was a resounding success, the gardens are immaculate with wonderful aromas from the jasmine and herbs growing. Everything you require for both the pizza oven and barbecue were there at hand, the villas have good quality linen, towels and well stocked kitchen items, you want for nothing. John is a brilliant host who also helped us organise taxis for the family back to the airport which we were very grateful for. To John and his team we’d like to say a big thank you for making our holiday a great success.

The biggest recommendation!!! We loved this place. The house is filled with various cozy areas, so there is plenty of shade, as we were travelling with small babies. We loved the outdoor seating area, and the pool area is more beautiful than the images shows. Only thing we would mention, is that there is a 10-15min drive uphill a very narrow road before you reach the house. It was not a problem for us, as we wanted to stay as much time as possible at the house. Other than that, Francesca was an amazing host and was easy to communicate with. We would definitely come back another time!
