Cottage vacation rentals in Province of Pistoia

Unique, authentic and clean! We were looking for a place where to stay in the mountains and still have the Italian authentic small vila - and we found it. It was rainy when we stayed, but it didn’t changed our plans and the vibe as the villa itself has the coziness that fits any weather. Highly recommended place to stay if you want to feel the unique and authentic vibe.

This was our second time at Il Vichiaccio and I hope it's not the last. In fact, this Airbnb is the entire reason we had Tuscany on our trip itinerary. Beatrice and Massimo are the most wonderful hosts in the world. Besides simply being great people to chat with, they are hospitable in providing some of their homemade wine and eggs. There's nothing more special than relaxing in the hot tub with the vineyard views and walking up the hill to dinner at Il Cavaliere in the castle. Our only complaint is that we did not see the kitty cat this time! She was our favorite host when we visited 3 years ago. Oh well, I guess we'll have to book again soon and try once more :)

Il cottage è immerso nella natura ed esattamente come descritto: si respira molta tranquillità. L’idromassaggio all’aperto è stato meraviglioso, ed i proprietari si sono premurati di farci trovare l’acqua ad una temperatura perfetta. Sono inoltre stati disponibilissimi nell’adattarsi alle nostre esigenze ed i nostri orari, se ci sarà occasione torneremo sicuramente in futuro.

The place was amazing with a magnificient view to the Mountains. Overall a great expierience there.. a quiet relaxin time at the AirBnB. Thank you again!

Sara and Brian are truly amazing hosts—proactive, kind, and fascinating to talk to. Their home is enchanting, like stepping into a real fairytale. You can feel how much love and care they’ve poured into every detail. It’s one of the most spectacular places we’ve ever stayed in! Not only is the house and the garden magical, but it’s also so practical and thoughtfully equipped, providing everything you could think of to make your stay comfortable. The gym was fantastic, and the house had plenty of space for two families. Even with 2 adults and 4 “monkeys” (our energetic kids), there was room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and celebrating New Year’s Eve with fireworks lighting up the entire region was an unforgettable experience. Thank you, Sara and Brian, for sharing your incredible home with us. We can’t wait to return!!!

La maison est très spacieuse et le jardin est vraiment très agréable. La cuisine et la salle de bain principale (immense) sont rénovées. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié que les chambres soient climatisées surtout que nous y étions dans la période la plus chaude. Cependant, nous étions étonnés de devoir acheter des sacs poubelle, car il y en avait seulement un pour chaque poubelle, sauf pour le compost qui en avait plusieurs. Pareil pour le papier toilette, il y avait juste 1 par salle de bain. La piscine était très chaude et le jardin très bien équipé. Nous avons eu un lit bébé moyennant un supplément de 10€/jour ce qui était un peu cher. Il y avait des jouets pour enfant, mais pas de chaise haute (bon à savoir). Il faut savoir que l’accès est un peu cahoteux et qu’il faut bien ouvrir l’œil pour voir le virage pour le chemin qui mène à la maison. Ça a l’avantage d’être très calme et intime.

The place is located on top of the hill. It has been a pleasure to stay for a few nights at Federico's place. He has been really helpful when we asked questions, to find the place etc. It is a lovely family house. We did not test the jaccuzi because off season but I guess on sunny days it must be amazing. The view from the house is stunning.

Great place off the beaten path between Pisa and Florence for easy access. Beautiful, clean, and great breakfast (but the same daily - needs variety). The room was way too hot for me so I borrowed/confiscated an oscillating fan from the laundry room. Very peaceful and quiet with a great pool, but never had time to use it. Staff was very kind and helpful!!

Wij hebben een geweldig verblijf gehad! We verbleven een maand in het huis van Gianni. Het uitzicht vanuit de heerlijke privé tuin is prachtig, vooral de zonsondergang! Het huis voldoet aan alles en is zoals op de foto’s. Er is een prettige keuken. Gianni is een hele goede host. Hij was zeer vriendelijk, reageerde snel en behulpzaam. Het dorp ligt op zo’n 15minuten loopafstand. Je hebt er verschillende restaurantjes, een café, supermarktje en apotheek. Voor mensen die van wielrennen houden is het the place to be. Voor de grotere dorpen en steden raad ik een auto aan. We komen in de toekomst zeker nog eens terug!

Jolie maison paisible en nature! Endroit paisible et naturelle. Havre de paix à équidistance de plusieurs promenades et autres joyeusetés. Jethro et sa famille sont très accueillants et disponible pour des astuces visites et promenades. Endroits à revenir voir sûrement à d'autres saisons de l'année.

The location is superb, great views and has a very cosy feel. The kitchen and living area on the ground floor were spacious and welcoming, while the private terrace made for a lovely place to have breakfast with an amazing view every morning. The bathroom and bedroom, situated at the first floor, were very clean and well equipped and the view from the bed was amazing every day. Our host Fabio was very friendly, informative and helpful informing us about best times to visit the main tourist attactions of Tuscany and where we could find the best restaurants and shops in the area. All in all an amazing stay! Totally recommend!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit! Es gibt einen tollen Pool mit Sitzmöglichkeit. Wir hätten uns mehr Fliegengitter gewünscht und in der ersten Etage gab es Schimmel, aber über diese Kleinigkeiten konnten wir aufgrund unserer guten Zeit, der tollen Möglichkeit zum Zusammensitzen, der beeindruckenden Aussicht und dem Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis hinwegsehen.

Mooie ruime woning. Volop privacy want de woning geheel ligt geheel vrij boven op een heuvel. De tuin vol olijfbomen en oleanders tesamen met het uitzicht maken het perfecte plaatje compleet. Prima bedden aanwezig en verder voorzien van alle basiszaken die je nodig hebt. Het privé zwembad is top en met ca 12x4m groter dan je verwacht. De sleutels moeten worden opgehaald in Montecatini Terme, een plaatsje vlakbij (ca. 10 a 15 minuten). De host rijdt vervolgens met je mee naar het huisje. Op de dag van het vertrek is de host 's ochtends weer naar het huisje gekomen. Prima geregeld! Je bent binnen het uur in Pisa, Lucca of Florence. Daarnaast zijn er in de directe omgeving veel leuke dorpjes en goede restaurants. Kortom, een geweldige tijd gehad in een heel fijne vakantiewoning. Een aanrader wanneer je de eerder genoemde steden wil bezoeken, een verblijf in een rustige omgeving op prijs stelt en tussendoor heerlijk wilt kunnen relaxen aan de rand van het zwembad.

Federica (and her lovely daughter) are the most friendly, welcoming and attentive hosts we have ever met! They will make sure you feel right at home. The house was spacious and well equipped. We were even able to do our laundry in the house itself! The pool is wonderful and surrounded by a well-tended garden with green grass and beautiful olive trees. We loved waking up with Marte (the dog) at our door, patiently waiting for a pet. Unfortunately we had some bad weather, but the house was comfortabel! We even ordered in pizza from La Fenice (highly recommended but keep cash on hand). Federica, thanks again for all you have done! It was a pleasure!
