Yurt vacation rentals in Torridge District

Absolutely stunning yurt and surroundings, rob and Sara were wonderful hosts, we can’t thank you enough for a memorable stay. The yurts were beautifully cosy and they both were on hand for any help or query. They go above and beyond and we can’t wait to come back!

This is a very peaceful, nice place to stay. The showers were so much better then expected (not your normal campsite shower block as the water was piping how and they were clean!). The kitchen in large enough to eat in if you want as there is a dinning table, there are 2 camping gas stoves and plenty of cooking pots and plates etc. The Yurt itself was very clean and comfortable, got a bit cold in the night but warmed up once the fire was lit. We had a lovely time and are considering returning next year for a longer stay.

Me and my 4yo daughter stayed for a few nights this week to spend time together before she starts school. Julia was so helpful in every sense of the word; when we arrived my little dog hurt its foot and she immediately called a vet to help us. Julia was so friendly and accommodating for us which you don’t always get with airbnb hosts. The location was perfect, the views, surroundings were just what we needed to live a little off grid for a few days, and just be together. Julia made us a lovely breakfast hamper the morning we left which was a nice gesture. I urge anyone to stay here! We didn’t quite get the hot tub working but I know if I had an extra pair of hands it would have been blissful. Thank you Julia, I hope we can come back to visit your wonderful farm again.

We loved our dog friendly stay at the Fern Leaf Roundhouse and we're surprised by the amount of space inside. It was very well insulated and easy to keep warm with a great little wood burner to give us a boost when we needed it. We made good use of the hot tub outside after we got over our initial phobia of clambering in full view of the neighbouring roundhouses. We noticed a few others had some privacy screens which we assume is a work in progress. It was amazing sitting outside in hot tub at night under the stars and the hanging lights only added to this. Would love to visit again.

We had an amazing and peaceful stay at Cotna. Our yurt was in a secluded spot and really spacious and lovely inside. They had thought of most things that we might need like cooker, sink, cooking equipment, sink, washing up liquid etc. We needed our own stuff for the shower which was a lovely outdoor but private shower protected by trees. Sara and others on site were so helpful when we needed last minute supplies like veg for our evening meal. Would highly recommend the food hampers!! Great walk to Portmellon beach took us about 35 mins and was rough underfoot so recommend proper shoes. Short journeys to other great beaches like Gorran Haven and vault beach but beware it is hilly if you’re going on bikes like we did! The only disappointing thing was the mattress.

a great stay in Maren and Richards Yurt. Super cosy and comfy. Easy access to everything you need and hosts were super friendly and accommodating. Fantastic and quick communication. Sunsets at this place are incredible! thoroughly enjoyed my time

Highly recommended. Hosts are exceptionally warm, welcoming and accommodating. Much care and attention is given to keeping the place looking in great order. Facilities are very good, and thoughtfully arranged. The animals are great for the keeping the children entertained, along with a separate barn for them to play in. Good location near to excellent beaches and the towns of Fowey and Looe.

our llittle family get away, last minute was amazing Phil and sera are amazing hosts from start to finish, nothing was every to much. The beds are so comfortable 😀 I need to know where the double bed mattress is from.🫠 would definitely be back. thank you from the Roberts

What a wonderful place!! absolutely stunning, each area is absolutely beautiful, inside and out. the yurt and beds very comfy with electric blankets. kitchen area with table and shower, outdoor bath and sauna perfect!! under shelter fire, hammocks and seating area all wonderful. connected with nature and left feeling refreshed. highly recommed staying here!!! Thank you so much for your kind hospitality and sharing your lovely space with us.

If anything this place under sells itself. We stopped in the buzzard yurt and it was spacious,clean and even has a woodburner for colder nights. It’s wonderfully private if your staying in one of the yurts as it has a screening wrapped around them. The kitchen is the best stocked and supplied area that I’ve ever seen in a clamping site. There is fresh eggs from the hens and which we loved. Polperro is a 10-15 milk down the hill depending on fitness levels. It’s a steep climb on the way back so if your not a walking lover you can easily park in the crumplehorn car park. Last of all massive thanks to Dane who lives on site and looked after us so well and gave us a battery bank for our phones which was a life saver. He also let us feed the chickens and collect their eggs which my lad loved! Beautifully peaceful haven and we would absolutely stay again!

Excellent mini break in a Yurt for a family of camping novices. 2 adults and 2 kids under 10 were well accommodated. We had fun to switch off from gadgets and tv and immerse ourselves in nature. Fresh sweetest plums and eggs every morning laid by friendly hens. The kids really loved it. Ellie and Ian are good hosts and we enjoyed a glass of wine with them in their beautiful main house. Good access to towns and beaches in South Hams. Happy to recommend and especially for star gazers the Yurt is in a dark spot to spot the Milky Way.

Wonderful gem of a place to stay! Roundhouse was so cozy and clean, just like the photos, and the peace and quiet of the site was blissful. Thanks to The Blacks for a wonderful stay and to Sue for checking us in and being so friendly. Will definitely be returning soon!

Had a fantastic stay at the yurt. Wendy and Larry were wonderful hosts and made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. Its a beautiful location, secluded and immersed in nature. Some highlights were seeing a mole trying to find a way back in to the earth, incredible dragon flies and a breathtaking clear starry nights! The kids had the best time, and were able to be free to roam which they loved. Thanks so much, would highly reccomend.

A lovely slice of heaven. The perfect location for time away from the hustle and bustle of life. The kids loved it and my daughter and her friend especially loved the treehouse. Plenty of space to run around and be free. We booked both yurts and it was great having the space to ourselves. We did the hot tub experience too which was amazing. Hosts were fabulous. So lovely living off grid but having everything you need! 100% recommend.

We had a relaxing and peaceful one night stay at Rob and Sara’s Airbnb. Our yurt was comfortable, extremely clean, and beautifully decorated. Possibly the highlight for us was using the wonderful natural hot tub and sauna in the evening. Looking forward to another visit with a view to exploring the nearby coastal paths and Lantic Bay. Can highly recommend staying here.

I had the most wonderful stay at The Ember Room Roundhouse at East Thorne! From the moment I arrived, I felt completely welcomed—especially important as a solo traveler. The staff were absolutely fantastic: warm, friendly, and genuinely kind. They went out of their way to make me feel at home, and they were just as lovely with my dog, Milo. The accommodation itself was amazing—stylish, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. It was the ideal escape for both me and my dog. The roundhouse is incredibly dog-friendly, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Milo had the best time! I would highly recommend The Ember Room Roundhouse to anyone looking for a peaceful and pet-friendly break. I’m already thinking about when I can return. Thank you for such a special experience!

Will return to this gem of a place, probably in the spring. It’s a unique experience that was lovely and private and peaceful. A decent size space inside the yurt with everything you need. Lovely showers,and handy kitchen area just a few steps from the yurt. Perfect, lovely hosts. Look forward to returning!

We have stayed here twice now and find it a perfect peaceful getaway spot. Well thought out facilities for those up for an off grid experience in a wonderful setting. Washing facilities are limited to a bucket and fresh water but I found that fine when in your own private field adding to the immersion into nature experience. The yurt is well thought out and comfortable.

we had a wonderful weekend in the yurt, Francoise & her husband were very friendly & made sure we had everything we needed. very accommodating & responsive hosts & a really lovely place. We are already planning a return trip!

We stayed in the Yarlington yurt which was absolutely wonderful, almost like something from a fairytale. We were given excellent instructions on how to get to and access the property and facilities and it was very well appointed. The only disappointments were well beyond the control of the owners in that the weather was terrible, so we were unable to make the best of the available facilities in the fire pit and barbeque. One other point of note is that if you are planning to eat at the local pub, do make a booking. They were unable to accommodate us as they were fully booked and were also asked to drink outside despite being half empty. I would heartily recommend staying at Torre Cider Farm and would love to go back in better weather.

The place is so nice especially with nature lovers, secure and we have a privacy. Angus is approachable, quick to response with our messages. We really enjoyed staying in Angus place. We were thankful for extra bonus the 5 free range eggs.

Had an amazing stay in the yurt for my fiancés birthday and the children absolutely loved it, it had all you needed for children. Plus a short drive to the beach. The yurt was lovely and had such a beautiful outside space and wonderful private bathroom and kitchen set up. Andrew went above and Beyond and for my partners birthday decor for our stay. We arrived super late and he waited up for us to arrive and was extremely helpful. We will be coming back 100%

We loved everything about Atlantic Horizons. From the friendly greeting by Alex on our arrival to the stunning scenery with sunsets over the Atlantic Ocean each evening during our 3 night stay. It’s location is perfect for trips to Clovelly, Port Isaac, Tintegal, Boscastle, and of course Bude which was only 15-20 mins drive. This was the first time we ever experienced glamping and it’s without a doubt going to be a tough one to beat! We stayed in the Wanson Yurt which was comfortable, clean and spacious. The views from the bed were out of this world. We felt so relaxed staying here and the eco friendly aspects of the site are amazing! It was quiet even though the site was almost fully occupied and everyone respected each other’s privacy. There was a real sense of calm and tranquility which we thoroughly enjoyed as we needed this break to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Sipping local ciders and toasting marshmallows whilst watching the sun setting was a dream! We brought our dog with us and he equally enjoyed the freedom of the large dog run which is a lovely addition to the camp site. We even extended our stay by an extra night, that’s how amazing this place is!! Overall, a truly wonderful experience and we will definitely return

Really lovely cabin with beautiful quiet surroundings. Communal Hot tub available to book for yourself which was lovely and in a secluded area. Everything needed in the cabin and was clean and tidy. Host really responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
