Otter's Den at Libbear Barton

RachaelRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A fantastic week spent at Otters Den. Max is a great host, the house is absolutely beautiful. Spotlessly clean & everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The pool , games room & petting area is a fantastic addition & kept my family entertained for the week. We didn’t venture out much as we wanted to have a relaxing week but the walks we did go on where beautiful. Max & his family are such kind hosts with the little extra touches, late check out on Easter Sunday, an egg hunt for the kids with chocolate eggs being delivered to our door, supplying us with fresh eggs & topped us up with fire wood when needed ! Communication was great, Max always replied to us within the hour. I would highly recommend Otters Den

Country House & Own 34ft Private Heated Pool

ChloĂŠRating, 5 stars3 days ago
My friends and I stayed at Louise’s place for a long weekend, and it was a wonderful time. The house fit 11 adults no problem. Lovely and quiet, the pool was so much fun, and we made good use of the fire pit to have s’mores. Harry gave us a tour of the dairy farm & beehives, & let us see the calves which was lovely. Louise was a fab host, very good communicator and always at hand if needed. Great stay overall!

28 Sea Valley

CaleyRating, 5 stars5 days ago
The place was absolutely lovely, clean, bright and cosy! Everything we needed was there, the bed was comfy and I had such a good nights sleep. The shower was lovely! Next time I head to Devon to see my family, I most certainly will be booking again. The hosts were very responsive and checked to make sure I had checked in ok and to see if everything was ok. Had no trouble parking. The hosts left a packet of biscuits on the table for us, which happened to be my favourite biscuits so enjoyed them dunked in my morning cuppa whilst looking at the stunning view! Very much appreciated and added to our lovely stay.

Stancombe Farmhouse - 16th Century stone farmhouse

JanineRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse and Sophia was a very kind and responsive host (eg we asked if they had a blue tooth speaker we could borrow and it was brought straight round - Thankyou!). We enjoyed the large sociable kitchen space with the comforting Aga to come home to. The garden space was very peaceful and we had great fun in the games room playing table tennis, table football and pool on our first night. We also made use of the swimming pool and playing boules in the garden. The house is large and comfortable for groups and families and has a Manor House feel to it which we loved. Thankyou for a wonderful stay!

Devon countryside lodge near coast and Dartmoor

We booked the lodge for my mums 50th birthday treat away with family. It was the perfect home away from home, so cosy and peaceful. Close by to beaches, woodland walks and amenities. We took our 3 dogs and were greeted by even a little treat packet for them along with some fresh scones! Both hosts were responsive to all questions. 100% would recommend and will be back❤️

We had a wonderful stay at the cosy cottage. The first hours unfortunately were quite cold, because the house wasn’t heated when we arrived. But we escaped into the warm jacuzzi :) When the house was warmed up it was perfect. The surroundings are beautiful, you can do great walks in and around Lee. We totally recommend it!

Superb accommodation, large, spacious, well designed and clean. Quiet village with local shop/pub and good car access to nearby places of interest. Car parking easy. It is someone’s home, rather than a pure business rental, so it has all the things you need dovetailed with the owner’s other processions. 200% recommended.

Stunning 1 bed coastal holiday home in North Devon

Absolutely perfect! You get exactly what you pay for and more with a lovely welcoming, instructions on how to use hot tub which was incredible! Everything you need to live for a good amount of time. There’s some really nice towns in the area too (Bude and Bideford) which we visited and enjoyed a lot. The place was in pristine condition on arrival, and you can tell it’s highly looked after. I couldn’t fault it 1 bit at all! If you’re looking few reviews at where to stay in Devon, you’ve certainly found the place for you right here!

Middle Mews (Exclusive Free Spa Facilities)

LeahRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I would highly recommend staying here. From the moment we parked we were greeted with beautiful scenery and instant peacefulness. The accommodation was bigger than what the pictures shown and kept at an immaculate standard. The garden had seating both on the gravel and at the top on the grass which our border collie enjoyed very much. Inside had everything you could have needed in a functioning home finished to a high standard. To top it off the private sauna, steam room, hot tub was a slice of heaven which was very much enjoyed. There is a information leaflet in which time had been taken to put together which included things to do and where to eat along with other useful information including which places where dog friendly which was very helpful as we had our pooch.

Spacious & detached coastal converted barn 2 bed

KarenRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a wonderful stay in the Parlour. The cottage was larger than expected, very well equipped, warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The peace and quiet was lovely and made for a restful break. The cottage is in a beautiful private position, but was easy to get to places both upwards in Devon and down into Cornwall. Kristen was a great host, i cannot recommend the Parlour highly enough!

The Beech @ Lufflands

ChanduRating, 5 stars1 month ago
5 stars I had a lovely stay at Maria’s caravan at Lufflands. The location was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing break in the Cornish countryside. The caravan was clean, cosy, and well-equipped with everything I needed. Maria was a great host—friendly and responsive throughout my stay. The only minor issue was the Wi-Fi, which was a bit patchy at times, but that’s to be expected in such a rural setting. Overall, a wonderful experience and I’d happily return!

Unique cottage w/ outdoor bath, dog-friendly stay

MirandaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Had a wonderful stay at the Hayloft and enjoyed several amazing meals out at places Lucy recommended. We loved the outdoor bath and spending time relaxing in the deck chairs on the little terrace. This area was also perfect for drying our wetsuits after surfing at Westward Ho! With Westward Waves surf school! The wet room bathroom was fab and there was plenty of room and storage in the house. Would love to stay here again and would highly recommend to our friends!

Gorgeous Upside-Down Barn with Huge Garden Nr Surf

AshleighRating, 5 stars3 months ago
The Red Barn was a lovely retreat for me and my partner and our newborn. It was very peaceful and had a beautiful garden, which I’m sure would be lovely in summer when the weather is warmer. We initially had an issue with the hot water but Karen and Conrad were extremely quick to resolve the problem (which was out of their control) and communicated well. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Red Barn for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

Snowdrop cottage close to Dartmoor! Free parking

AlyciaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our family of four had a lovely stay at Snowdrop Cottage. The property was comfortable and had everything we needed for a short break. We enjoyed the views, whether it was the charming village life at the front with its beautiful cottage gardens or the peaceful church and rolling hills at the back. Innana was quick to respond if we needed anything, and it was lovely to receive her kind message of appreciation after our stay. The cottage is in the heart of the village, easy to find, and has the added bonus of off-street parking. It’s full of character, with lovely features throughout.

Fabulous place with all the amenities for us and 3 kids. If anything the photos don’t do justice to how enjoyable and convenient the place is with sheep in field opposite, 30 seconds to great pub and five mins walk to the moors. John was incredibly helpful and went out of his way to make our stay perfect. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to explore this part of Devon.

Spacious, fab country views, near beaches, hot tub

AmyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Fantastic weekend away! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 9 of us have just got back from this beautiful relaxing home. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, even down to the little touches with adding things for the children. They loved being outside and luckily the weather was kind to us! Hot tub and pool table was a huge hit with adults and the children. We had a Sunday carvery at the hosts recommendation and it was yummy! (The bell inn) very accommodating for 9 of us! Shops aren’t too far away and we ended up spending most of the time at the home and it had everything we needed! Superb communication from host. I teach at a school so I left after work so was nice to be told about a road closure nearby, so helpful! Thank you for a lovely stay! Will be recommending your beautiful home! P.s I’ve never met such tame lovely cats! Another lovely addition to our stay! 😊
