Absolutely incredible place. Very peaceful and scenic and provided with everything we could have needed. Wonderful hosts, would love to stay again.

A delightful stay in a charming shepherd's hut! Check-in was seamless and hassle-free. The hut is nestled in stunning surroundings, offering peaceful views and a true escape into nature. We especially appreciated the thoughtful welcome book, filled with great local recommendations that made exploring the area even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for a tranquil retreat.

This is our 5th time staying at The Glade. Myself, my son and our pooch love it there. Its so private, quiet and i love to sit amongst the wildlife and bird watch. A nice walk in the woods right beside the hut or just a chilled swing in the hammock. It is our favourite place to unwind. I love how everytime we visit the surroundings look different with the ever changing wildlife. It is as beautiful in winter and rain as it is in the sun and summer. Autumn has to be my favourite. Juliet is a lovely host and is not intrusive in the slightest. However she is very responsive if you need anything. We had a lovely chat this time whilst i was sat bird watching and she told me about a few birds she had seen. What can i say if you need to unwind then this is the place. Comfortable, quiet, homely and warm.

Great getaway here! Easy to book, new amenities, smart new decor, great shower, fully functioning oven, job and microwave. Good directions to get to the place and easy self check in. (Just note there is no wifi and bring a spare toilet roll as we used our 1 roll up pretty quickly).

The Shepherd's Hut was a very comfortable and convenient stay for our needs. The interior is very cute and the theme is applied perfectly. Nice to be on the edge of a working farm. The escapee ducks were a highlight. Communication with Mandy was easy. We would come back.

Nice relaxing Shepherds hut. Did not need to use the wood burner. Had a homely feel with all that my dog and I needed. Good location for both inland and coastal walks. I drive a large estate and didn't have any problems with parking.

The Shepherds hut was perfect for us, amazing location and views. Very relaxing and quiet. Sofabed was very comfortable, lovely drop down table was a bonus. Close to showers and toilets. Would highly recommended coming here, and our dog loved it as well.

Had a lovely 2 night stay in Dennis Hut! Everything was as described. Beautiful, peaceful location. Yummy cakes on arrival! We stayed here and spent the days travelling around various areas of Cornwall. Wouldn’t recommend Lanivet as a holiday destination but Abbie’s place was gorgeous and I highly recommend a getaway there! So many nice seaside towns around a 30 min drive away. We were lucky to have beautiful weather all weekend, so could enjoy sitting outside the hut in the mornings and evenings, but even with poor weather I think this would be a really lovely place to switch off a bit and enjoy yourself. The hut was clean and tidy, Abbie was easy to get hold of and gave us lots of great recommendations. Huge plus that it’s dog friendly as my little girl loved being able to explore the surrounding woodlands. Thank you so much!

Amazing from start to finish! Great communication, easy directions, smooth self check in and a lovely rural peaceful location! We all felt very welcome. The Shepherd’s Hut was spotless and very well prepared for us with a thoughtful little welcome gifts. We really appreciated the attention to every single detail! The guide book with local tips was very useful. Now I regret not booking more nights as this was only a little stop on our way down to south Cornwall, but we’ll definitely be back! A great get away that was easy to find. With fantastic views and an extremely peaceful area surrounded by farmland. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!!

Absolutely superb. A lovely, quiet, beautiful spot in nature. Danielle's description was spot on, the directions and check in instructions accurate and straightforward too, which is perfect if you are at the end of a long drive. The shepherds hut was immaculate, cozy and modern. You could quite happily stay there all holiday but equally there are some great things to do and Fowey is great to eat in. A brilliant holiday accommodation from a brilliant host.

Another wonderful stay! This hut is so perfectly designed for a peaceful countryside get away - and in a great location between dartmoor and the sea, offering plenty to do! Spacious bathroom, comfy bed, and a well equipped kitchen (we enjoyed trying out some new airfryer recipes!) 😊 Thanks again Caroline!

Really beautiful Airbnb with 3 separate huts for bedroom, kitchen and shower, and toilet. The fire pit and hot tub were particular highlights (the hot tube gets through a lot of wood so be sure to stock up at one of the local farm shops, we used Stokeleys). So romantic and a great off-the-grid kinda getaway! Highly recommend <3

Sarah is a fantastic host & made us both feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The views are amazing, words can not do justice! The shepherds hut is so cosy with quality bedding & we cooked on the fire pit every evening. Sarah made amazing bread rolls for us, she inspired me to try & bake myself. We are looking forward to spending time there again. We love it there! Thank you Sarah 😊

We had a fantastic weekend stay at The Willow tree hut! Helen and her husband were very warm & welcoming. We arrived to freshly baked scones with fresh jam and cream as well as fresh eggs and milk (a lovely and delicious bonus) The hut was absolutely immaculate head to toe and so cosy… the scenery and wildlife around was beautiful despite us being unlucky with the weather 🌧️ we also thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub which was also very clean. All information regarding the surrounding areas such as nearby places to eat, spend the day, shop etc was also provided to help ease our experience and find things to do another huge bonus! Would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning :)

What can I say about this beautiful place. had everything we could need in the kitchen, the king size bed with the tv was really comfy especially in them raining nights. the bathroom had double shower and was really good pressure, and spotless clean. we did love there doggies who kept coming to say hello when they were out with the horses which are in the field you are in, behind their own fence. We also loved the fresh scones which was bought to us. with Jam and cream. had lots of debates with my husband about jam or cream on first as im cornish! Great information book too with everything we needed to know. We recommend to anyone if you want some peace and quite away from normal life.

I have to say what a gorgeous little rare gem this was to find. The location was 10/10, so peaceful and tranquil, the shepards hut was perfect, so quaint and cute with absolutely everything you could need to enjoy your stay. we slept a solid 11hours and that is absolutely unheard of. We cannot wait to come back, thankyou so much for being wonderful, accomodating hosts and creating such a beautiful space for everyone to enjoy. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Me and my husband had the most relaxing two night break , in the most peaceful and beautiful surroundings.. It was lovely watching the sunset both nights from the hot tub..

Lovely place to stay. Hosts are welcoming and helpful but not in your face. Great location for Chagford and surrounding area, some lovely walks on the doorstep. Highly recommend this as a quiet get away.
