Poppy the Bell Tent at Mena Farm, Cornwall

CelesteRating, 5 stars22 months ago
Wow! What an amazing place you guys have. Our first get-away with our little boy (8 mos) as we went to an Eden Session and decided to make a weekend of it. We arrived on Friday and our hosts were welcoming, friendly and so helpful. We settled into our beautifully clean and spacious bell tent ‘Poppy’ before heading out to the Eden Project, approximately 10 mins drive. The loos and showers were clean and tidy, the little shop on site was well stocked and our little boy loved looking at the pigs and wondering down to the pond at the bottom of the meadow. The views are beautiful!! And if we had stayed longer we would have certainly wondered around the local area a little bit more as Ali recommended some nice local walks. On Sat evening a fab little food and drink van arrived on site and we enjoyed watching the sun set with a delicious cocktail. I can’t say enough about this place and we are already looking at when we can return! Family friendly, great location, wonderful hosts!
A vibrant sunset paints the sky in shades of orange and pink above a field with three bell tents. The tents, featuring a mix of pastel and bold colors, are framed by a rustic fence that enhances the natural setting.

Glamping in North Devon

ClareRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We absolutely enjoyed our two night stay at Becci's place. Becci made us feel very welcome and at home. I wish I had booked more time there as it was simply amazing. Super comfy bed, kitchen has everything you need (scones with jam and cream in the fridge) DELICIOUS!!!, hot showers, flushing toilet and electrical outlets. The view was spectacular. Rolling hills of patchwork agricultural land and woodlands. Our favourite was the horses. What a treat to have them directly in front of the tent. Becci allowed us to feed them too. The fire pit is totally unique and we made good use of it. We even had some goodies to take home. Becci is more than a 5 star host 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. What a gem of a place. We will remember this stay for a long time. We will definitely be back. We'll worth every penny! THANK YOU, Becci😁👍🏻

Glamping Bell Tent in Cornwall, Rescorla Retreats

VernRating, 5 stars20 months ago
I cannot praise Rescorla Retreats enough. The standard of camping was extremely high. Clean, and very well, comfortably kitted out bell tents, with comfy bedding, torches, spare batteries and hot water bottles. Add to that bunting and fairy lights, cushions and blankets, and it made it feel very cosy. Each tent had it's own fire pit with seats around it, and a covered dining bench/area, which again was well supplied with wood for the fire, firelighters, matches a camping stove, kettle, and all the cooking utensils you need. Each tent had it's own compost loo and allocated shower which was fun to use with great views of the countryside whilst you freshened up and made your armpits charm pits! It was peaceful and quiet with only 3 pitches on site which were well spaced out, and only the sounds of birdsong and farmyard animals as the soundtrack. I would 100% recommed staying here, I'm sure I will again. Thank you so much Rescorla Retreats for your attention to detail!

Riverwood Farm Glamping Luxury Safari Tent

BeannRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Had such a lovely birthday weekend celebration here at Tatalon! Was a nice getaway and we were kept entertained with the outdoor games, hot tub, bbq and TV! Also got a bottle of bubbly to start our stay in the perfect way. I stayed in October and yet we were still warm and cosy inside with plenty of blankets. Jo was incredibly responsive, friendly and helpful. I recommend this to anyone and will definitely come back here!

Camp in the dog-friendly Willow Field!

JessicaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We really have had the best few days, we originally booked a campsite and fled the next day....long story. However, we found this secluded field and booked up. Within minutes Kate responded and accepted the booking, lots of instructions and information sent. When we arrived we were greeted by Richard who gave us a tour of the surroundings. We later met kate who gave us some home grown tomatoes and cucumbers, they went lovely with our BBQ. Thank you! Lovely hot showers and flushing toilets. There has been so much effort and thought put into everything around site. The kids loved exploring the place. Very private and secluded acre of land, the dog could run free once the gate to the feild was shut without being kept on a lead like the previous camp site we were on! We felt so relaxed when we arrived. Highly recommended and an absolute lovely couple.
