Entire Maisonette - Torquay Newly Renovated

MeganRating, 5 stars32 months ago
Had a lovely stay at Tracy’s place. Tracy was a wonderful host and we felt welcomed as soon as we arrived. The accommodation is spacious, quiet and clean. There is a pub and local parade of shops less than a 10 mins walk away and Torquay town centre is 20 mins down the road (the walk back is all uphill though). I would highly recommend this accommodation.
The exterior of the lodge features a sloping roof with a triangular peak and large windows providing abundant natural light. A private balcony with chairs overlooks the surrounding landscape. Stone and wood materials create a harmonious blend with the green hillside.

Hillside Villa No. 88 Millendreath

WilliamRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We stayed with our two kids (7 and 4 years) and had a great week. The apartment was a good size with a really nice view of the tree’s from the main bedroom, there's a great view of the sea from the apartment and balcony area as well. The balcony is big and really makes the most of the lovely surroundings. The showers good and the kitchens well stocked with utensils, crockery etc. The beach is great and is only an easy short stroll away, the waves can be heard from the apartment. The beach bar / cafe was open 09:00-22:00 every day and was decent aswell. Nice easy communication with the host who was responsive with any messages. Cheers for a nice stay!

2 bed bungalow in Plymouth over looking Saltram

Keri-AnneRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Very friendly and great communication. Spacious bedrooms that are clean and tidy and are well glazed to minimise traffic noise from the main road. The property is situated near loads of amenities in Plymouth and was easy and quick to get to. The views from the rooms were lovely, tranquil and ever changing with the tide and weather. Just be mindful that to get those views there are loads of steps! There are binoculars in the main bedroom to spot wildlife when the tide is out. There aren’t any bins in the bedrooms or bathroom so had to use my dogs unused poo bags so be prepared. There is a lay-by for locals parking (3 cars) which is straight off the busy main road. I couldn’t park at the back of the property as my SUV was too big to get the right angle to park (as it’s a fairly busy narrow lane) so if you have a small-ish car you’ll be fine. Overall a lovely bungalow to base yourself in Plymouth but just be prepared for the steps and parking.
A stunning coastal view captures a golden sandy beach nestled between rugged cliffs. The turquoise waters gently lap at the shore, while vibrant wildflowers in pink and purple adorn the green hillside in the foreground. The scene is complemented by clear blue skies.

Cosy quiet cottage in Cornwall close to the coast

KeiranRating, 5 stars43 months ago
The location was ideal for us, nice and quiet away from noisy roads. The place was really clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our long weekend. Comfy beds, heating works well, hot water and plenty of cooking utensils in the kitchen for when we cooked. I would recommend staying here. Loads to do within a 30 minute drive. 25 minutes to Bude.

Pet-friendly listed house on the river Exe

BenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Richard's place is beautiful and the photos don't do it justice. The house is tastefully decorated, very roomy and has everything you need. It's in a picturesque location; sundowners in the garden watching the sunset over the Exe was particularly memorable and Topsham has loads of great places to eat and cool shops. Richard was a great host who communicated in a clear, friendly and timely manner.
A charming entrance is framed by a leafy vine and vibrant fuchsia flowers. A stone planter adds texture, while a small bench invites relaxation in front of the large window, which is adorned with potted plants, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Rose Cottage, dog friendly, Appledore

LizRating, 5 stars45 months ago
Rose Cottage is a lovely, old fashioned, quirky cottage - with lots of interesting objet d’art to discover throughout your time there. I loved how it is tucked away from the street, making it a really private space. Danielle was really informative about the surrounding areas and was on hand for queries. The living space downstairs is really relaxing (two of us learnt how to play chess in the lounge!) The outdoor space is really valuable as, I should imagine, in Appledore having a big garden is a real treat. The location is amazing - a minute’s stroll down to the quay - with the wonderful local shop, John’s, a stone’s throw away. We had fantastic weather, having lots of hot beach days in Croyde and Saunton Sands, but also loved catching the 5 minute ferry across to Instow village and beach. The attics bedrooms were a little warm (it was a very hot week), but Danielle kindly provided us with a fan which certainly helped on the top floor. Appledore is a magical place with beautiful cottages, great restaurants and Sylvester’s fish and chips are scrumptious - the first time I think I have ever managed to eat a whole battered cod! Thanks Danielle for a truly wonderful week’s holiday with the family.
The exterior of Myrtles Cottage is shown, featuring charming white architecture adorned with lush greenery and colorful flowers. A pebbled pathway leads to the front door, enhancing the cottage's inviting appeal. The roof is covered with slate tiles, and multiple windows allow natural light to illuminate the interior.

Myrtle Cottage in Appledore near Quay

BruceRating, 5 stars42 months ago
A madcap feast for the eyes! If you want a standard Airbnb filled full of IKEA then this place isn’t for you. If you want an authentic (and original) experience in a great location - then book it. Open fires, art, antiques, the sea all make up the DNA of Appledore and typify Myrtle Cottage as a microcosm of North Devon’s prettiest fishing village (that you don’t have to pay to visit!)
The Victorian residence is framed by lush greenery, with large trees and shrubs surrounding the property. The structure features distinct architectural elements, including a pointed roof and decorative woodwork, while a winding pathway leads to the entrance, inviting exploration.

6 bed Victorian Villa with Sea Views sleeps 15

IvanRating, 5 stars3 months ago
The hosts were great straight from the off, quick responses and really helpful. Information received beforehand was really helpful in our planning and made for a great stay. The property is great, very big without losing any style or cosiness. Large rooms and the hosts had prepped the rooms and the dining area specific to our groups’ size and needs, which was very helpful. The group spaces provide for flexibility especially useful with a large group with a significant number of children and the kitchen is excellent. Probably the best equipped and easy to use kitchen we’ve had in almost 10 years of spending New Years together as a group.
A modern two-story house is highlighted, featuring a combination of wooden and smooth exterior finishes. The property is enclosed by a low wooden fence and stone wall, with a well-maintained driveway visible. A clear blue sky provides a bright backdrop to the scene.

Shackled-Am-Not. Beautiful and modern home

Shackled-Am-Not is definitely at the top of places we have stayed at. From the luxurious kitchen with plenty of kitchen gadgets and lots of equipment for the whole family, to the beautiful lounge area with plenty of seating for everyone to have a great catch up on the evening. The bedrooms were so clean and comfortable, the en-suite bathrooms was a lovely luxury. We enjoyed the games room playing pool and darts. Would like to say a massive thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home, we will definitely recommend it to our friends and family and would love to stay again. Ps thank you for the welcome pack it was lovely. The Cox family.

The property was amazing and so perfect for us. A really gorgeous and well set up property would definitely come back. Would like to point out that more toilet roll needs to be left for the stay though as we ran out very quickly

Seaview 6 Bedroom Villa, Ilfracombe

BeckyRating, 5 stars10 months ago
The house was everything expected and more. The amenities were over and above and made it so easy to feel at home and enjoy our holiday. We were a group of friends including multiple couples and there was lots of social space to be together as a group but still be independent with big spacious well thought out rooms. The house would suits friends or family looking to stay together,is suitable for kids and the fact it was dog friendly was a bonus for our 4 legged friend. The location was perfect, a short walk to the harbour and the sea view was beautiful. I had the master bedroom on the first floor and waking up to those views was amazing. Oliver was a fantastic host, quick to respond or confirm anything I needed. I would 100% recommend this home and everyone that joined us said the same. The home made our 40th birthday celebrations even more special. Thank you Oliver
