Doors lead to a terrace with views down over the pool, play area, across the river valley.

Gite and first floor of the Mill House

"An excellent place for all to simply relax and enjoy the location and surrounding area. Visit some truly spectacular places, there are plenty of walks right on the doorstep including a path to the Grand Etang, this lake is one of the largest and most beautiful bodies of water in the department. Easy access to Nontron, famous for knife manufacture and the cities of Angouleme, Perigueux and Limoges are all equidistant with the latter being the closest airport at around an hours drive.

At the foot of the Château

Au Pied du Château looks out on the village square and the Chateau de Bourdeilles, a medieval castle with a renaissance addition. Au Pied du Château is nestled into the center of a lively village in the Dordogne department in the Aquitaine region of the south of France, in the Périgord. With two bedrooms, bath, kitchen, living room, balcony, and courtyard, Au Pied du Château accommodates six people. Fully furnished and equipped, it can be rented for a week, a weekend, or a few days.

Sunflower Cottage - sleeps 4

Sunflower Cottage is part of a suite of terraced cottages at Gites Rue Du Chateau, with access to spacious gardens, with woodland, a beautiful clear stream running through an ancient lavoir and a covered dining terrace. We have an above ground pool, boules area, BBQs, outside kitchen with dining terrace and cosy fire pit area. Surprisingly peaceful, but within walking distance of restaurants, bakeries, shops and market. Local activities include the Rejallant canoeing centre.

The Tournesol Family Luna-Bell

Tucked away in the beautiful Charente countryside, close to the Haute Charente lakes, you’ll find an oasis of calm in Au Pré Fleuri Eco Glamping. This beautiful family bell tent comes with a double and two single beds, bed linen and towels, wood burning stove, BBQ cooking facilities and its own private eco bathroom with solar powered hot water and composting toilet. Onsite is a 11 x 5m UV swimming pool, games area, lounge marquee, hammocks, tree-circle and fire-pit.
