Vacation rentals with a kayak in Wadmalaw Island

We loved staying at Lauren’s place! She decorated it beautifully and even put out the Christmas decorations for our family Thanksgiving weekend. The house was so festive. The beds were extremely comfortable. We enjoyed watching the alligators and the turtles behind the house in the waterway from the balconies! The beach was gorgeous on a cold winter day and we went for long walks and several golf cart rides. We felt completely at home and Lauren was so sweet and such an incredible communicator. Thank you for everything!!!!

This place is spectacular! Kelli, was extremely responsive to any questions we had! The place was absolutely gorgeous inside and the backyard was beautiful! We highly recommend this place if you love coming to the Airshow!! We could’ve just stayed in the backyard to watch it over the marsh! Honestly, we couldn’t have picked a better place! Can’t wait to come again!

We can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was at Brenda’s place! It was beautifully decorated, clean and peaceful. We loved that the amenity cards were included as well as plenty of bikes and fishing gear. Brenda is everything you want on a host…caring, responsive, and so wonderful to communicate with. If you are looking for somewhere to get away and relax look no further. This place was amazing, Me and wife booked a couple days for her birthday and we loved it. The views were beautiful as described but even better in person. The location is great too as it is only about 20-30 minutes from downtown Charleston and Folly Beach. Amy was super accommodating, friendly, informative and a great eye for art. We will definitely stop in again when we are back in the area.

The rental property was just as described. The location was perfect as our family was there for our son's wedding which took place at The Island House venue which is less than 1/4 mile away. The property had a lot of open space and a huge kitchen which made it excellent for hosting dinner. Everything was clean and well stocked. I would highly recommend this unit.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful marsh-front home near Charleston! The setting was peaceful and full of Lowcountry charm, with gorgeous marsh views right from the backyard. One of the highlights was definitely the chickens — fresh eggs every morning made breakfast extra special! The house itself was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Plus, it’s just a short drive to Edisto Beach, which made day trips super easy. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made sure we felt right at home. We can’t wait to come back!

If you are looking for a quiet place to get away from it all, this is it! Sunsets are amazing. It is perfect for stargazing. And the silence seeps into your soul. We left rejuvenated. Her place was perfect for the 2 of us. I would stay here monthly if I could! Ps. I highly recommend getting some shrimp & oysters (if you come in the ‘R’ months) at Flowers on Hwy 174 heading to Edisto Beach.

Pam and Ollie were so nice and attentive. The place was peaceful, clean and quiet. The amenities were perfect.

My adult son and I needed a few days to regroup after a death in our family and Susan's place was perfect. The apartment is as described. It has eclectic, cozy decor, comfy beds, great AC, coffee, and a nicely equipped kitchen to make your stay comfortable. The location is close to Folly and Charleston. We'd love to return to this peaceful place.

This place is AMAZING! I wish we had taken more pictures. We had such a great relaxing time from the beautiful house and dock with it’s breathtaking views that we just enjoyed life and each other. The deep water dock was perfect for our boat. Only a short boat ride to the inter coastal waterway and beaches. Janie is a fabulous host. We couldn’t ask for anything better. She gave us excellent advice and recommendations for local restaurants and a close boat landing. Not only will we be come back again and again, but we have already started sharing this fantastic place with all our friends and family!
