Vacation rentals with a kayak in Wadmalaw Island

This is a truly exceptional place to stay with a host that’s truly exceptional as well. This is one of the most beautiful properties I’ve stayed. It’s a serene location but within minutes you’re close to almost any amenity one could want. Susan is a spectacular host that’s full of knowledge. If you want to know something about the area just ask and she will point you in the direction. Staying here and having Susan as a host made a wonderful experience truly spectacular. If you’re able to be fortunate enough to get a chance to stay here I highly recommend it.

What an amazing place. Just wish we had more time here as the location is amazing. We will definitely be coming back to South Carolina as we didnt have enough time to explore the area. Had enough time to use the kayaks and swim which was lovely and visited the private beach Theresa mentioned 😀 would recommend to anyone - we were a family of 4 and although it’s small the location makes it ❤️

We absolutely loved this little home located on the creek north of Mount Pleasant. From the very beginning, Kathy was wonderful at communicating with us and made our transition to and from so easy. Her and her husband were so kind and helped us get our little boat situated in the water when we arrived. Our stay was exactly what we hoped it to be! Thank you for sharing your home with all of us. We hope to be back in the Charleston area again!

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here and it was amazing. Wonderful views of the creek (which is bigger than what the photos reflect). The house was clean and had everything you needed. Spent a lot of time on the front porch taking in everything. My daughter and son came down for a day. Their favorite part was feeding the deer! Joni and Todd were so nice and helpful when asked about places to eat or shop. Would love to go back soon and re-live an amazing week of peace, comfort, and tranquility.

We really enjoyed our stay. After driving for 3 days, it was the perfect place to rest and relax. The cabin with fenced in yard and screened porch had everything we needed. We used the trails, fishing gear and kayak! Denise and Tanya were amazing hosts! Loved all the little touches. Would highly recommend!

Derrick's place was fantastic. The community was lovely, the amenities were exactly as described, and we couldn't have asked for a better location. The sunsetting on the beach, the dolphins swimming right next to shore, and the house was just fantastic. Derrick was a lovely host and we can't wait to come back! Highly recommend for anyone.

Great place to stay in Park Circle. So close to Firefly Distillery for a concert. Great food in walking distance and short drive. Only 30 mins from downtown Charleston, but better (IMHO) to be surrounded by a natural setting in a clean and comfy house. Would definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.

We were looking for a tree house vacation and this did not disappoint. The picturesque lagoon viewed from the windows and balcony provided serenity and entertainment (beautiful birds, sunning turtles, spectacular sunsets, and of course the alligators)! Our host was quickly responsive to the few questions we had and went above and beyond with answers and accommodations. Biking trails, a 5 minute walk to the beach, a short drive to fantastic food venues, and even a few deer added to the relaxing time away we had hoped for. Highly recommend.
