Unique roomy apartment with private yard, well equipped kitchen, extremely quiet and dark for sleeping. The lower level was more comfortable after running the dehumidifier because of the large stone wall foundations. This gives it character and coolness. We even played one of the games provided. Very thoughtful hosts.

As a family of four with two little kids we had a beautiful stay at Anas Honey House. Everything was perfectly clean, a little yard in the back of the flat was my childrens favorite place. With its thick walls, the little house has a unique charme and it stays cool in the Summer. Thank you, Ana - we we're happy here!

Ana's house in Vila Nova de Gaia was ideal for me. It is in a very peaceful location, but close to public transport and a very short walk to the river. It was recently refurbished and it shows. The kitchen has everything you need, fast internet in case you have to work from here, and plenty of sunshine in the outside space, as well as a stunning view of the Mosteiro da Serra do Pilar on the "first floor" balcony. Ana was responsive and always helped when needed. I highly recommend this house if you are looking to visit Porto for a short or long period, however you want to stay somewhere peaceful away from the hustle and bustle of Porto.

J’ai passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement à Porto ! L’appartement était impeccable, très bien situé et parfaitement conforme à l’annonce. Le rapport qualité/prix est vraiment top. Un grand merci à notre hôte, qui a été particulièrement accueillant, disponible et chaleureux tout au long du séjour. Je recommande vivement cette adresse pour un séjour agréable et sans souci à Porto !

Great place to stay in Porto. Five stops on the D line from the studio apartment's peaceful, quiet neighborhood to the historic center (no changing trains) and plenty of bus connections to other parts of town. The studio is part of an art deco duplex building and includes access to a lovely garden. The furnishings are rather basic but entirely fine. The host — Christina — is very friendly and responsive. Highly recommended.

It was lovely staying at Tiago's place - great value for money compared to other similarly prices places in Porto. The location was great with an amazing view from the doorstep and a stone's throw from the riverfront and centre of Porto. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a nice simple base to explore the city from!

Excelente. La casa limpia, iluminada, y bonita. Las camas buenas y cómodas, la vajilla impecable y los baños también impecables. El dueño de casa muy amable y acogedor. Lo recomiendo.

Seit der ersten Minute wie zuhause gefühlt. Typisch portugiesische Gastfreundschaft. Alles sauber, nicht ein Fussel war zu finden. Bettwäsche und Handtücher alles perfekt. Atmosphäre der Zimmer, Gemütlichkeit und Liebe im Detail. Wir waren eine Woche dort und waren wunschlos glücklich. Der Gastgeber warnte uns vor dem Lärm der Flugzeuge.. aber man muss schon wirklich pingelig sein um sich davon stören zu lassen. Wenn jemand ein ruhiges Plätzchen sucht, ist er beim Rural House goldrichtig. Für uns in Zukunft immer erste Wahl, wenn’s nach Porto geht. & Carla hat immer super Tipps auf Lager, ob essen oder Sehenswürdigkeiten. Danke und schön das es euch gibt !

Wat een geweldige airbnb, mooie locatie, schoon en ruim voor 4 personen. Wij hebben genoten van deze plek en zou het zeker aan iedereen aanraden. Bedankt voor de duidelijke en vriendelijke communicatie. Ik kom zeker nog een keer terug!

We were 5 friends sharing the apartment for 3 nights and everything was great. The place looked like expected, we had everything we needed to run the dishwasher and washing machine which was a nice touch. Also coffee, pepper and salt, etc to get us started with breakfast. Communication went great, the host was very responsive. Location was great as well as we had the opportunity to cross the beautiful bridge several times. The sofa bed was comfortable enough to sleep in for three nights according to my friend. We would stay again!

A wonderful stay! The place is about half an hour from Porto, easy drive. As expected right on the beach with a view that we can never get tired of. Smooth check in and the place was super clean and comfortable. Beds are comfortable and there are shutters to block the light if you like to sleep in. Noise from board walk doesn't get to the bed rooms. Kitchen was great so easy breakfasts, coffee and reheating food. Great access to beach toys and umbrellas for beach days. The host was very accommodating and responsive which we hugely appreciated. There are lots of lovely restaurants around and we spent a couple days in the city, some in the hills and some enjoying the coast. It's a perfect mix of city break with the beach air. Thank you for an amazing stay, highly recommended.

Eine sehr charmante kleine Unterkunft, schön eingerichtet und sauber. In einem interessanten, nicht touristischen Viertel, aber trotzdem gut zu Fuss oder per Bus oder Metro erreichbar. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen!

Very nice house, spacious, clean, and near a supermarket and a shopping centre. Out host Ricardo was very welcoming and contactable, helping us with various local requests. Garden was big and had a covered bbq area. Had high expectations and this far exceeded them.

Wir hatten eine herrliche Woche in Porto. Eine einmalige Gelegeheit in einem von Álvaro Siza Vieira umgebautem Haus zu weilen. Die Aussicht auf die Flussmündung und das Meer ist unvergleichbar.

Já somos repetentes deste espaço. Adorámos a casa, excelentes comodidades e a sua localização é fantástica. O Dario foi excelente como sempre. Centralizada fácil de andar a pé por uma das zonas históricas do Porto. Vamos voltar, obrigado por tudo

Para quem procura um local calmo para relaxar do stress da cidade, a Casa do Carvalhal é a melhor escolha! Adorei a minha estadia e o senhor Sérgio estava sempre disposto a ajudar! Recomendo imenso e tenciono voltar em breve!

This is a Really great place for a big group or family! The description matches the place very well. There is lots of space and it was all very clean. The pool and decking area is great.
