Santander vacation rentals

We stayed with three small children for four nights. The house and garden is exactly as described. We walked to the town and beach a few times (10-15 minutes walk with small children), and drove a few times as well when the children were tired. Parking in Somo is straightforward. Maria was extremely welcoming and very responsive. She kindly prepared the house to make it welcoming for the children.

We had a great time with the family. The El Currillo cabin is a beautiful, peaceful place, conducive to sharing meals, board games, walks, daydreams. The access to the top of the mountain is breathtaking, with the animals around. Thanks to Rebecca for all the accurate information provided and tips for walks, restaurants and for her responsiveness.

We had a 10/10 weekend. The cottage is beautiful, it doesn't lack anything, full of beautiful details. Raquel was very kind and welcomed us with delicious homemade muffins, eggs from her chickens, sweets, beers... and she even has a small pantry. We'll be back for sure! Thank you very much Rachel, Ander, Kai and Ane :)

Raul was a very accommodating host. Communication was very good and queries were answered quickly, allowing us to check in a little early with our very tired baby. Everything had been thought of. There was a travel cot in the room, milk, pastries and hot and cold refreshments. The room was immaculate with lovely facilities and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was quiet but there were bars and cafes within walking distance and a lovely child friendly restaurant less than 5 minutes drive away. Would be first choice to stay again if in the area. Highly recommend.

This accommodation is ideal, a dedicated parking, a superb view of the ocean, we had everything available, inside and outside. Remarkable cleanliness. We more than enjoyed our stay at Sergio's. Thank you so much for hosting us and kindness.

The stay was terrific. Met expectations more than 100%. What we have experienced as very pleasant is the personal contact with Mari, our hostess. The contact with her was friendly, helpful and welcoming. When we left, Mari came to say goodbye to us in person. The space was clean, spacious and equipped with every comfort. In the bedroom, a bed of 2.00 m wide. Public transport is very close and takes you to the center of Santander. Something we also like. You then need to look for a parking space in the city center. We therefore highly recommend it for people who want to visit the area and Santander.

Blanca's apartment is a beautiful space, with original paintings, stylish furnishings, comfortable beds and living areas. The neighborhood is very pretty, lots of trees, and convenient to the beach and promenade, grocery store, and other neighborhoods and sights. Parking was plentiful on the street. The building was quiet, and the apartment was well supplied with drinks and kitchen supplies. Would love to come back in the future.

Everything you could wish for was present. Shutters so you can sleep in the dark, a kitchen that is equipped with all comforts (dishwasher+washing machine). Internet. First need for herbs, sugar, tea, coffee, dish soap, toilet paper, etc. The bed is wonderful, great mattress. 2 small points of attention: the toilet is in a narrow place next to the sink so you have little space (fortunately we are both slim) and point of attention is the cleaning. Among other things, mold spots in the shower and on the shower head.

Cuchi met us and immediately we felt at home. The location is handy for everything and on one day we cycled all around Santander as they let us use their bikes. We stayed for 3 nights and the apartment had everything we needed. It was a great stay. Cuchi was very friendly and gave us lots of recommendations. Cheers Cuchi and Jesus.

This place is a must-stay in Santander! It was spotlessly clean, well-equipped for basic cooking, and had a modern, comfortable feel. The hosts were responsive and helpful with any questions. Highly recommended and will stay again next time I come.

Sandra's place is the best Apartment that we have ever stayed in. It was spotless and Sandra has thought of everything. It is on the outskirts of Santander but the number 12 & 24 stop outside the Apartment block. Sandra was waiting for us, contacted restaurants and drove us there. A problem arose with the restaurant bill and Sandra sorted it. Sandra is a lovely host and I highly recommend her place.

We had a great time! The apartment matches the photos, it's clean and access is super secure. It is located in the city center, as described by Félix, ideal if you are on foot or by public transport. Nothing to say, everything was perfect!

A wonderful opportunity to immserse yourself in a traditional way of life, surrounded by mountains and the lifestyle of the Pasiegos. Although the weather was not on our side, we still managed to enjoy the surroundings on foot or in the cozy cabin with wonderful views and sounds. Nick is an exceptional host - always attentive and friendly.

I had already been there a few years ago, and the experience has been wonderful again. The cabin is in what is possibly the best location in Vega de Pas, with spectacular views, and has everything you need to spend a pleasant and comfortable stay. Roberto is a 10 out of 10 host, always attentive and available (just us touched the international blackout and there he was at the foot of the canyon) Coming up from this, the house is self-sufficient, with solar panels and gas, so phenomenal. Aspects to keep in mind when it comes to being there: - Pets are allowed, but they are not allowed on beds or couches - There is one towel and one roll of WC paper per person - The heating is controlled by Roberto remotely, not the tenant - WC paper is not thrown in the toilet, but a trash can in the bathroom - BBQ grill is gas What I said, a place to enjoy the tranquility, the disconnection, good hiking routes, and a good mountain cocido.

A lovely apartment well equipped. Perfect location, a short walk to the most beautiful beach, supermarket, bars and restaurants. Highly recommend

I have enjoyed staying here for 3 weeks. The apartment is in a quiet street, and partly because of that I slept wonderfully. It is on one side about 10' walk to the beach via the pedestrian tunnel “Tren de Pombo” which starts behind the house. On the other side, you walk down, where you have a nice row of restaurants (calle Tetuán) 5' away and walk into the old town in 10'. Also, don't forget to walk up the street and cross, there is a good bakery/delicatessen (Gallofa) and a cafe hidden. Eva's apartment looks recently renovated and is a nice mix of authentic details and modern comfort. For people without mobility problems, the stairs should not be a problem and the slope of the road to it should not be a problem either, do not let that stop you. There may be affordable taxis and shared bicycles nearby (electric). Communication was always smooth, personal and enjoyable. I would like to come back and highly recommend the apartment.

Patricia was a great host really friendly and helpful with lots of local recommendations. The Loft was in a brilliant location with so much in walking distance on the doorstep. Highly recommend

The property was very comfy and clean. Easy walk to the beach and shops. But also far enough away that it was quiet and peaceful in the apartment. Carmen was always quick to respond and friendly. Will definitely stay here again when visiting Santander.

Second time stay in 3 weeks with Luis as a couple and our dog Archie - just a brilliant stay, central to all walks and bike rides, also Luis, wife, and young kid so friendly and hospitable - they made Santander a really great destination for us - if you arrive on Brittany Ferries don’t flee, stay and explore for a few days this hidden gem - also stay in Luis place to add the sparkle.

We had a lovely stay. The apartment is walking distance to the beach and downtown, while still being in a quieter neighborhood.
