Stand-up comedy with a Madrileño

Language of the experience: Fridays and Saturdays: SPANISH Thursday: ENGLISH • Get ready for an unforgettable madrileña comedy night. • Thanks to this show you will know what to expect from a Spanish/a, from a madrileño, why do we dine so late, if we say "ole" when we get home from work, if Madrid really has playa... and all the other mysteries. • You will be accompanied by me, a typical Madrid: comic, content creator, musician, engineer and dog driver (real). • I will start with my own set of comedy about myself and about the life of the Spaniards and the Madrileños, while I will meet the group with a warm welcome. • After my set, I will pass the micro to 2 other talented comedians, each with their own style and unique perspective on Madrid, either as lifelong residents or expatriates. • We will end with A PHOTO TITLE game, where you will have the opportunity to be a part of the comedy and fight for a prize. You'll leave with lots of laughter, great memories, and even new friends from Madrid!

Join me as I bring my decades of dance experience to a beginner-friendly choreography class designed to put rhythm in your feet and a smile on your face. • We’ll start with introductions before easing into a gentle warmup with some stretches and clapping, focusing on our posture and rhythm and helping us connect with the spirit of Spanish dance. • Next, we’ll dive into foundational techniques, practicing graceful arm positions and footwork like the golpe and the planta. We’ll layer these elements together, building coordination, balance, and confidence to the beat of authentic Spanish music. • Finally, we’ll put it all into practice with a choreographed number that’s rooted in the historic culture of Spain. After a calming cool-down, you’ll leave with some new skills and a deeper connection to one of Spain’s historic pastimes.

Step inside my state-of-the-art recording studio, Sol de Sants, in the heart of Barcelona for an exploration of how award-winning songs come to life, from the musician’s studio to the mixing board. • We’ll start with a tour of my studio, where I’ve worked with many top Spanish and international artists. • You’ll get an inside look at how live music is recorded, from musicians playing in Studio A to mixing in the Control Room and overdubbing and sonic additions in Studio B. I’ll play a mini demonstration on my Steinway piano and answer any questions you may have. • I’ll share insights about my involvement in major recordings and original projects here, including those by C. Tangana, Rosalia, Jacob Collier, and Manu Chao. You’ll leave feeling musically fulfilled, with a fresh perspective on the creative process of producing a hit song.

Salsa & Bachata Basic Class North

Let's learn to dance salsa and bachata together! Whether you are a couple, a group of friends, family, or even a solo traveler, you will have a lot of fun, while enjoying one of the best views of Las Palmas. At the end of the adventure, you will be able to follow the rhythm and dance your first steps in Cuban salsa and bachata. We are a group of local dancers that want to share the traditions of this kind of dance and music. The meeting point will be in a public and open area in front of the sea, in a suggestive place that will inspire you. Remember: humans are made to move their bodies with music: everyone can dance; the only thing that stops you is shame. That's why the experience will be lived in a funny and comfortable way. Technically, you will discover some tips that will allow you to dance like real salseros. You will learn the basic and advanced steps of salsa and bachata and you will learn how to coordinate it if you want to dance in couple or not. If your partner is someone who you live with then you can practice couple dance with him/her. Other things to note: In the case of rain, the experience can not be done. I can postpone the time or the day. Is better in couples. No dance experience needed.

The Craft Beer scene in Madrid has matured nicely over the last years with more additions of breweries and craft beer bars. This experience brings you to the best oldest and newest Madrid Craft Beer Bars and is something you shouldn't miss. A Craft Beer Crawl over 2 hours, visiting 3 important Beer and Tapas spots for locals in Madrid (still not known by tourists), including an off the beaten path old-style market from the past century. We will also know the history of the different places as well as the different beer varieties and tapas. When the tour finishes, you will be able to keep on enjoying the bars we visited or other ones in the area (actually most of the guests stay after I leave) and to make it easier the tour will end in front of a craft beer bar with 40 different craft beers to choose. Note that one drink per person is included. (DUE TO WEATHER EXPERIENCE MAY BE ADJUSTED TO OUTDOOR CLASS) It is great for groups, great for teams, and great for families!
