Beachfront vacation rentals in Vila Nova de Gaia

A very well-equipped house in a lovely seaside village, larger than the photos make it seem. Antonio greeted us like we were old friends and was really helpful with a couple of logistical issues caused by our late arrival. Miramar is a smashing little spot with a couple of nice eateries. 20 minutes on the train from central Porto and half an hour walk down the beach to the more bustling village of Aguda.

The house is small, but it is very well used and everything was very clean. Same or better than the pictures. It is located a short walk from the beach, which is ideal. The beds are very comfortable and allow a good rest. The kitchen, although compact, is fully equipped, and also has many utensils. It also has several useful items such as an iron, hair dryer, fan... Whatever you are looking for and need, you will find it. The decor gives it a unique and cozy touch. Rui was always attentive and very friendly. Highly recommended!

Jorge & Susana are brilliant hosts. they are always responsive and proactive in offering suggestions. the house was perfect for what we needed. Great restaurants in walking distance and a 20 minute Bolt ride into Porto. We would strongly recommend.

Raquel was a wonderful host! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. She was really helpful and provided great local recommendations. Communication was clear and friendly throughout. I’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Everything met expectations, a cozy space with a good location two steps from the beach and the center of Espinho. Mr. Vitor is always available and very friendly. Our stay was great.

The place has beautiful personalized decoration, very comfortable, spectacular dinner table chairs :) The only thing, for people who have “problems climbing stairs”, you a have everything you need (bedroom, complete wc, kitchen, etc.) downstairs, but the best terrace with a sea spectacular sea view, along with 2 other bedrooms, is on the second floor.. The 5 star host Tiago, was always available. Surely recommend!

We had a pleasant stay in the dune house, the bedding is perfect, and the apartment is very clean. The terrace is very pleasant, facing the ocean with magnificent sunset views. There is a beautiful walk along the beach, restaurants and bars within walking distance. The kitchen is very good, there is an oven and even a dishwasher. It just lacks a few kitchen accessories like a salad spinner, there is only one salad bowl for example, it lacks a little equipment for people who really want to cook. And the only negative point is the noise from the road, cars and motorcycles pass very quickly at night, it's less disturbing with the window closed but it was hot, and we slept with the window open. We are delighted with our stay and the house is as described.

I loved my stay in Bruno's beautiful apartment. It was a real home from home. Beautifully furnished and immaculately clean. It had everything you could need. The building is quiet and well located for public transport to Porto or to the beach . It's possible to walk to the beach and the nature reserve. Bruno is a fantastic host. Very responsive and gave clear instructions. I will definitely be back.

Great stay, good location and as described. Amazing support after our stay. We forgot a tablet in the appartment and they were amazing helping us out to have it ship to our home. Very efficient and supportive.

I stayed with 6 friends in Alex's apartment to spend a quiet time by the sea and look at Porto. The apartment is very spacious and offers a lot of space as well as many possibilities! The location right by the sea is indescribably beautiful! There are great restaurants and bars within walking distance. If we wanted to go into town, we took the Uber. This was also hassle-free, inexpensive and takes about 15 minutes. I really recommend this apartment and Alex as a host! We felt very comfortable. Thank you for the hospitality!

truly fantastic experience staying in Manuel's studio. the studio has all it needs, amazing light, massive rooftop terrace with a sea view and some handy chairs and lounge chairs. location is great, with fun beach bars within walking distance, the lagune for bird watching , some handy shops and nice restaurants. Manuel was a great host, quick communication, very clear. thanks Manuel!

Great stay! Clean home, with a 2 minute walk to the beach! The shared pool is great and a good size, fab on the warm days! Quiet and peaceful area but limited parking in front of the apartments, especially with a van. Had a great stay and thank you to Manuela for checking us in and showing us around the apartment, her recommendations for places to eat and visit were great!

A beautiful Villa with a nice pool and barbecue outside we all love it we are definitely coming back again. Highly recommended.

Chris and Alex were lovely hosts and made sure we knew how everything worked in the apartment and also informed us of things to do in Porto and how to get around! The apartment has everything we needed and everything was as advertised! Beds were comfortable and the apartment was clean and cozy! Chris and Alex both went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was the best it could be. Great hosts and would highly recommend!

We loved our stay at this wonderful apartment! The balcony was a highlight - offering a breathtaking view we enjoyed every morning with coffee and evening with wine. Perfect for unwinding! The heating system kept us cozy throughout, especially during cool evenings. The dedicated parking space was incredibly convenient and saved us time and worry. The apartment has many charming qualities, though a few minor improvements would make it perfect. The closets could benefit from a refresh as they had a slight musty odor. The kitchen extractor hood shows signs of age with some rust spots but still functioned adequately. One small note - the cabinet doors lack soft-close mechanisms, making them quite noisy when closing, which might disturb light sleepers. Despite these minor details, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend this property for its location, views, reliable heating, and convenient parking. Great value overall!

A wonderful stay! The place is about half an hour from Porto, easy drive. As expected right on the beach with a view that we can never get tired of. Smooth check in and the place was super clean and comfortable. Beds are comfortable and there are shutters to block the light if you like to sleep in. Noise from board walk doesn't get to the bed rooms. Kitchen was great so easy breakfasts, coffee and reheating food. Great access to beach toys and umbrellas for beach days. The host was very accommodating and responsive which we hugely appreciated. There are lots of lovely restaurants around and we spent a couple days in the city, some in the hills and some enjoying the coast. It's a perfect mix of city break with the beach air. Thank you for an amazing stay, highly recommended.

We had a great time in Porto! The appartment is right next to the beach and just 10 minutes by car away from the city center. We were very glad about all the equipment in the appartment like herbs, oil etc in the kitchen, cremes, lotions, showergel etc in the bathroom, many tovels in general, bags for shopping, some stuff for the beach and much more. The check in was flexible and Maria was so lovely. She showed us some maps about Porto and told us about some events. She also left some sweets for us. Everything was clean, TV and Wifi worked perfectly. Probably my next vacation will be in another country to explore to world, but I highly recommend this appartment to my family, friends and all of you.

It was a really nice and pleasant stay. The view is great Same as the apartment. It was nicely clean. The kitchen was one of the best parts. It was very nice to find even some spices and other stuff there which you would not usually buy when you only stay a few days. All in all a good and nice stay would recommend.

Spacious apartment with large balcony giving a glimpse of the Douro through the trees. Major benefit was secure onsite parking and accessible public transport to central Porto within 100 yds. Apartment well equipped and everything worked though I suspect the oven might need some TLC before long.
