House vacation rentals in Vila Nova de Gaia

This was a lovely Airbnb for us with 5 adults and a baby. Nick was so friendly and gave great local recommendations. The neighbourhood is a short metro into the city centre, but had nice local cafes and restaurants and was very close to groceries.

We were very well received. José is attentive and responds very quickly. The place was clean and spacious for 11 people 🙂

We spent a lovely week at Elisa and Andrés beachfront Airbnb. Communication was flawless and we were even welcomed with a complimentary bottle of Portugese wine which was a nice touch. Once checked in, we had a slight issue with the loud noise coming from the pool pump and Elisa responded within minutes, sending her Father around to check it for us. Location-wise, we chose this because it is right on the beach and it really is. You can hear the ocean from inside and see it from the windows. On a clear night the Sunset is sensational. Elisa was super flexible with our check-in and check-out times, offering both an early check-in and later check-out to accommodate our travel plans which we were super thankful for. All in all, a great trip, can highly recommend!

The space is wonderful! Was the best airbnb I've ever stayed in. It had everything we needed, even shampoo, conditioner, towels for the pool! I want to go back for a longer stay and enjoy the rest of the house and I will recommend it 100%! It's 20 minutes from Porto and there are Ubers on site. The pool and Jacuzzi space is very nice, both with the indoor and outdoor pool! The pool temperature is wonderful! Tiago was always ready to answer any questions about operation or location! Thanks for this amazing weekend!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Casa dos Olivais! Exactly as described—clean, cozy, & fantastic location. As beautiful as the photos are, the place is even more breathtaking in person. All of the amenities were great esp. it being so well equipped for cooking. If that isn’t your thing don’t worry there are some nice food spots a skip away. The place was very clean, bright & helps to completely unplug if need be. If you’re considering, book it! You will not regret the experience. Leading up Afonso ensured we had details needed for not only a seamless check in but had great advice for places to eat, on parking & gave appropriate heads ups for other practical aspects. Notes: Those booking & renting a car parking is not immediately outside but it was easy enough to find free spots close by. There will be a little bit of a walk on cobblestone if you’ve got luggage. Overall, it was a fantastic experience & we didn’t want to leave. I would definitely recommend it to others looking to stay.

We had a lovely stay at Francisco's beautiful home. The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked with all that a family of 6 would need. Our kids really enjoyed the lower level playroom and the outdoor space and pool. The hosts shared local recommendations and even provided a few welcome treats and wine which we appreciated. Francisco was extremely responsive and came by within minutes when we had a question about something in the house one morning. The area is quiet but on the outskirts of many of the sights of downtown Porto. Something to be aware of if you're looking for an area that is walkable or closer to the activities around town. You will need to Uber (minimum 10-15 minutes) to get to most nearby Porto attractions. Great house and pretty decent location if you don't mind being a bit further away from the city center.

Loved it. Playing tennis from sunset to 5am (floodlights). Bbq on the terrace. Rooms were clean. Everything about this place was perfect. We even got some tasty baked goods every morning delivered to our door Easy to get ubers and uber eats. All the boys had a great time and want to go again. Its a great villa to just chill in, you dont get bored. Loved every minute.

We had a wonderful stay at Ruca’s place with our family. She was extremely helpful and friendly and we felt at home right away. The house is located literally on the front of the beach and there is a back door giving access to the beach. The place is spacious, the garden big and neat. Ideal for families. Thank you Ruca for your warm welcome!

we had a great time. the accommodation is very clean, functional and pretty it is also very well located in relation to the center of Porto (only one metro station) Eddy is responsive and kind. Thank you very much for this lovely. We'll be happy to go back!

Well renovated, spacious and comfortable townhouse located 15 minutes from the historic center of Porto. The home is on a small street with little traffic, so quite quiet.

We had a nice time with spacious bedrooms and a very spacious house. Free parking. Beach and boulevard within walking distance.

RoseSina's house is very well located. Close to downtown, restaurants, supermarkets, but in a quiet area. The bridge and river are just a 10 minute walk away, and the Metro station is only a 1 minute walk. The house is spacious and bright, the beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed eating on the outdoor patio. Self check-in was very convenient. Everything was perfect, we would definitely come back!

The accommodation is very pleasant and very functional for a family vacation! We appreciated the location close to shops and not too far by car from downtown Porto! Very nice to be able to park right in front! Self check-in and checkout is a plus too and Luis was very nice!

Sofia & Jorge were nice, the housse is just so well placed in town, with the metro, by walking and shop/restaurant so close! Porto is a beautiful town and we had a good time at the house.

Hugo was very responsive and was waiting for us when we arrived. This compact apartment, with beautiful gardens and a pet turtle, is tucked away in an alley in the center of the tourist district walkable to everything we wanted to see. The kitchen was well equipped and the hosts even left a welcome bottle of wine and fruit. The only downside was the two bedrooms with the double beds were quite small for 2 people, other than that, it was stellar.

We spent a long weekend at Isabel's with a group of friends. Isabel was very welcoming and pleasant. The listing and amenities are exactly as described. Casa da Visa was impeccable upon arrival. The accommodation is close enough to Porto and its airport, which allowed us to enjoy our trip until the last moment. Slightly off-center, there is no noise. I recommend staying at Isabel's on future trips to Porto.

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend stay at this cozy and charming home! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. Marisa was incredibly kind, responsive, and made sure we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect – peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to local attractions and nature spots. Highly recommended – we’d love to come back again!

I love the back yard garden of this house. flawless, well equipped, spacius and the host is very nice and always quick response.

I cannot recommend this place enough! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Renato was amazing — super friendly, responsive, and full of great local recommendations that made our trip even more special. Truly one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. I highly recommend this place for those who visit Porto. It is not in a central area but it is only across the street and it has a bus stop and going down the street is the metro stop. Attentive and friendly hosts have provided us with all the necessary information. Apartment like the photos, everything was impeccable when we arrived and it's a very cozy space! If you can, when you return to Porto, I already know where to stay
