We want to ensure a memorable stay! Avintes is a historic village with a river beach and a small center served by several restaurants and shops. It's home to an excellent biological park and a zoo, while the center of Gaia and Porto are around 10-15 minutes away. There is public transport 1km from the Quinta entrance. However, it is recommended to use your own car. You can park inside the property.

The host was very helpful and friendly, informed us of local restaurants and events in the area including a medieval festival that was taking place whilst we were there. We had a lovely stay in Mariana's stay. It was a sparkling clean and very nicely decorated cottage in a large walled garden with sheep, chickens, lawn and flowers. It was very easy to travel as it is close to the highway, but surprisingly you don't hear it at all. The cottage is a 15-minute drive from Porto and only 5 minutes from the beach. Mariana, her husband and son were really friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended.

It is a double-decker villa, the ground floor is for guests, spacious, airy and cozy. The hostess, Carla, is very enthusiastic and friendly. They are located on the first floor, which is very convenient to help customers. The village is 2.5 km from the sea, but very close to a wooden trail for guests and locals to walk through the mangrove forest to watch the sunset.

This villa is beautiful and has many features which unfold every day. Each bedroom has a desk, the kitchen is professional, the tennis court, ping pong, billiard, and the hockey table bring lots of joy and fun. The pool is great for sunny afternoons. Jean-Francois received us very well with warm hospitality and attention to details. We ordered his brick oven pizza one night which was a very special treat. He made delicious coffee every morning and kindly shared with us and treated us with a basket from his garden.

The reservation was made on my husband's account but I (Mike) was the one who stayed there. The apartment was exactly as described in the listing and everything was great! It was clean, convenient, and everything worked!! I would definitely stay again!! But the best part was the host! I have stayed in a lot of Airbnbs and Dilia was the best host that I ever stayed with! Every communication was prompt and accurate and kind!! She even called on the second or third day just to make sure that everything was perfect! I really can't think of anything I would have asked for different!! Thanks Dilia, I can't wait to come back to Porto and stay at your charming apartment once again!
