Great place for a week in Porto. Easy access to the city centre, and peaceful courtyard.

Ana is an excellent host, she attended to us promptly, was very careful and attentive. The house is exactly as shown in the photos, very cozy and spacious. We felt at home. I recommend it.

Ana‘s place embodies what I love about Gaia. Peaceful and quiet. The views from the little roof top above are worth it! We truly enjoyed our stay here and would go back in a heartbeat.

Proximity to the Douro River with views up and down the valley and outdoor spaces including the wonderful swimming pool with great views and barbecue area made for a very relaxing holiday. There is no Aircon but thick granite walls and open shutters allow the natural breeze to keep the house cool even when it's 35C plus outside. I think I left a board game called Genius Square behind and wish it to remain there. have a good if you stay.

A very well positioned Apartment - 24 mins walk to central Porto (downhill) 👍 Metro 10 mins walk..great restaurants within 10-15 mins walk…word of caution re parking, can be outside the Apartment but a small car…Thanks Eddie - you provided a great service..

A totally recommended place, both for the location, being a very quiet and perfect area to rest, and for the hosts, who were willing to help in any way necessary. We left thinking about coming back. Wonderful. Thank you very much, family.

Twin house with green space in the back, because of the high heat we had to take refuge often inside which allowed us to appreciate the refreshing power of the omnipresent tile on the ground floor. Good communication and simple procedures.

Felt at home since the first minute. Typical Portuguese hospitality. Everything clean, not a lint was found. Bed linen and towels everything perfect. Atmosphere of the rooms, coziness and love in detail. We stayed there for a week and were happy without a wish. The host warned us about the noise of the planes.. but you have to be really fussy to be bothered by it. If someone is looking for a quiet place, they are in the right place at the Rural House. For us in the future always first choice if possible in Porto. & Carla always has great tips in stock, whether eating or sightseeing. Thank you and glad you are there !

This apartment is fully renovated, and modern throughout. I choose this place because it has a separate office space, and I could work in a private area separate from my family whist we were travelling. I would highly recommend this apartment. 10min walk to the city centre, 4min walk to supermarket, and 1min walk to 2x cafes

Fabulous accommodation in a great location, it was very easy to find and within walking distance of all the main sites. The house has 3 floors and had plenty of space for the six of us. The kitchen was well equipped with crockery/cookware and we self catered a few evenings as there are supermarkets nearby and some basic ingredients were provided. Bed linen & towels were great quality and there is also a washing machine. We were very happy with everything - it’s one of the best Airbnb’s we’ve been to & would definitely recommend!

Elisa and André's apartment is exactly as described and corresponds to the pictures. The contact was straightforward and both Elisa and the on-site support were always available, but we didn't need this at all. The view of the Atlantic Ocean when you get up in the morning is worth half the rent. Everything is in walking distance and Porto is very easy to reach from the train station 5 minutes away. We had an incredibly relaxing week. Thank you!

A very charming little space, nicely decorated and clean. In an interesting, not touristy neighborhood, but still easily accessible on foot or by bus or metro. We really enjoyed it!

Very nice house, spacious, clean, and near a supermarket and a shopping centre. Out host Ricardo was very welcoming and contactable, helping us with various local requests. Garden was big and had a covered bbq area. Had high expectations and this far exceeded them.

Everything was perfect, neighbours very talkative but I liked it, they were very friendly and cared us much.

Unprepossessing from the outside and set towards the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, this spacious three bedroom property, one with its own ensuite bathroom, has a full length verandah and a carefully tended garden, ideal for relaxing, and is a few minutes' walk from the local pool. You'll need a car if you want to sample the local restaurants or visit a supermarket but there is an excellent regular service on a comfortable air conditioned coach into Porto.

The welcome was very good and the explanation of the apartment matched 100% with the photos in the listing. Fully equipped (crockery, bathroom, pantry…). We had a problem with the vehicle, as a tire was punctured on the day of arrival and the host personally came to accompany us to a nearby workshop and solve the problem. The location is close to downtown Porto, about a 15-minute walk. He also recommended several restaurants in the area to eat. We would 100% repeat the stay in this apartment and we recommend it without a doubt
