Cottage vacation rentals in Vila Nova de Gaia

This house is in the most STUNNING location with AMAZING views. We arrived early hours and Tiago was more than helpful at this time. We were told of the house’s rich religious history which is reflected in the artwork and decor of the house. 7 of us stayed for 8 days 2 couples and 3 teens More than enough space for everyone to have their own privacy and more than enough room for 10 people. The grounds had fig, Apple and lemon trees which we were told we are more than welcome to use. Aldi and Lidl were a 15 minute drive (we rented a car) which was perfect for evening barbecues (huge wood oven outside as well as small grills) The pool was stunning, we spent most days in there from morning till night. It’s a great size and easy to shade with umbrellas if needed. We left our inflatables there for the next person, which someone had also done before we arrived, which was a nice touch. We can’t thank Tiago enough for an amazing 8days. Will defo visit again

Spent 3 nights here and had a beautiful time. Hot tub was a nice touch for the cold winter days. Carlos was extremely sweet and hospitable. Gave us plenty of information about Sever de Vouga and showed us how to get around. Breakfast was served to us everyday at 9am which was a super nice touch. Great way to start the day. Definitely recommend. I'll be going back for sure!

Wenn du im Paradies Urlaub machen möchtest, gehe zu Silvio. Er hat einen wundervollen Ort geschaffen. Traumhafter Garten, es fehlt einem an nichts. Alles perfekt. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Die unterkunft war sehr sauber und gemütlich. Alles wie beschrieben. Sehr guter Service und gut empfangen.

Tiago did more than expected. From welcoming cake, unexpected wine tour and requests answered immediately. When we panicked about the fires, he calmed us. This Airbnb is a haven of tranquility. Fresh fruit from trees!!! Vale da Cambra unspeakable beauty and hospitality. Not a lot of English speaking, but at the end we got what we wanted.

La estancia fue increíble, patricia estaba todo el rato pendiente y contestaba al momento casi. En cuanto a la casita fue muy bonita a parte de que tenia estufas en las que no pasabas frio ninguno cosa que se agradecía que hacia frio y mal tiempo. Tenia todo lo que se necesitaba y estaba todo muy limpio. Fuimos con dos perritos y tenían donde poder correr en el jardín. Sin duda repetiremos

Wonderful stay here for 5 days. Helena was quick and responsive throughout. When I arrived, I met Paula, Sofia, Martinho and Francisco who welcomed and showed me the house and area. So generous to offer me a bottle of wine, water, biscuits on my arrival. The house is cozy and peaceful with a view of the farm where the sheep roam during the day. Comfortable bed, linen and beautiful antique decor to keep with the theme. Kitchen has a small fridge, kettle, microwave and stove. Beautiful spaces to walk and rest under fruit trees, 2 swimming pools in a peaceful natural setting. Even my cat, Samson enjoyed it. For company, we also had a cute friendly dog, Nina. It is a short drive to centre of Fafe, a lovely town with charming architecture. Helena provided useful recommendations on what to do and where to go. Guimaraes is a beautiful place, only 20 minutes from the house. All in all, a great stay and I'm happy to revisit one day again. Thanks for a great stay!

Sehr schöner, leider zu kurzer Aufenthalt bei André und seiner Familie. Geschmackvoll umgebautes altes Bauernhaus. Tolles Bad und grosse Küche. Der Aussenbereich hat uns besonders gut gefallen mit dem Pool mit sehr schönem Blick, Abendsonne und schönen Garten drum herum. André ist ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber mit guten Tipps für die Umgebung und Restaurants und jederzeit zu einem netten Gespräch aufgelegt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The home is a great place to just get away from it all and relax. The grounds are peaceful with lots of fruit trees. If you like nature you will love it.

Nossa estadia foi ótima! André estava sempre atento quando algo era perguntado a ele. Aproveitamos o jardim e os bancos que ficam nele para bater papo e tomar algumas bebidas. Tudo limpo e organizado! Espero voltar no verão para aproveitar a piscina.

Un lugar muy tranquilo y bonito, adecuado si viajas con mascotas, ademas de ofrecer un desayuno muy bueno y variado. Manuel una persona muy atenta. Sin duda repetiría.

Excelente casa com todas as comodidades. Sítio bastante privado. Todas as indicações foram fornecidas sobre casa e sobre arredores. Chegámos e tínhamos um cesto à nossa espera. Só posso dizer boas coisas sobre esta opção.

Muy buena estancia

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub in der Unterkunft. Die Außenküche ist zauberhaft und Rita ist so eine herzliche und engagierte Gastgeberin. Das Hobbyzimmer mit Poolbilliard, Sportspiele und Co. hat uns die Freizeit super gestalten lassen. Wir können diese Unterkunft mehr als nur empfehlen, weil alleine Rita alles dafür geben wird, dass man einen schönen Urlaub hat. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Great place! Excellent river view and terrace. The hosts were very friendly and helped us when our car broke down. Supermarkets and restaurants are just a 10-minute drive away.

We had a great stay at Manuel’s peaceful and idyllic place. The apartment has everything you need, the area is very relaxing and great for trips in that region, e.g. to Braga, Guimaraes. Thanks a lot and we hope to make it there one day again :)

An enchanted space! The Quinta’s green gate opens to a moss covered cobblestone alley cooled by vine arches leading up to the house. The old house is charming and very spacious. Big bedrooms and generous bathrooms with views onto trees. Formal and wild gardens surround the house and continue up the hill to a secluded fresh water swimming pool with a beautiful view over the valley offering complete seclusion and tranquility. The kitchen has everything one needs to cook family meals for big eaters and the fridge freezer is big enough to cool plenty of beer supplies needed to enjoy (or endure) the Euro 24 games and election night. João is a generous and enthusiastic host, never intruding but always there when needed. For our visit to Porto we used the handy Arentim train station to get straight into Porto centre - cheap, clean train, in time and stress free! With plenty of spaces to enjoy our company and spaces to seek solitude, all of us had a much needed rest in magical surroundings!

Such an amazing and thoughtful host. My boyfriend and I wished that we had more time on this beautiful property. One of the best Airbnb experiences we have had. I would definitely recommend. The guest house exceeded our expectations.
