Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Province of Como

The house was incredibly clean, everything brand new, and every detail was carefully thought out. It was fully equipped with everything we needed for a perfect stay. We were 4 adults and 3 children, and there was plenty of space and comfort for all of us. Located in a peaceful area with beautiful mountain views, it offered the perfect environment to relax and enjoy nature. Sofia was extremely kind, warm, and attentive throughout our entire stay, always available for anything we needed. Her hospitality made us feel right at home. We truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches and useful recommendations provided. Without a doubt, we would love to come back and stay again. Highly recommended!

The location of the house was simply amazing. One could sit there for hours staring at the view :) The house was even better than expected. Instructions for arriving and getting were clear and the hostess proactively communicated with us. Everything in the house worked perfectly and there was enough equipment and dishes to serve a bigger family. We had zero problems and did not miss anything more from the house. Just perfect! Fiumelatte did not have services except the local restaurant (which was very nice), but the area was very peaceful and Varenna Center was only a 10-minute walk away. Varenna did not have bigger grocery stores, but there is one very good one 7 kilometres away. Car is pretty much required and the accommodation includes a garage for that. Bear in mind, that a big car would be a problem here.

There were three of us on vacation with a dog in this beautiful apartment and we couldn't have met it better. The apartment has a magnificent view and is in the sunshine from morning to evening. A cozy place with soul. Simply fantastically beautiful. Elisabetta & Mattia were great hosts, with great tips on the surroundings. We recovered superbly and had feelings of spring over New Year's Eve thanks to the great location & pure sun. Clear recommendation!

We had the most amazing weekend here. The views from the garden are so amazing, the pictures don’t do it justice! We felt right at home inside too as it was clean and cosy with everything you could want. When we come back to Como I would 💯 stay here again as it’s an absolute gem 👌🏼

Beautiful place. We really wanted a peaceful spot with beautiful views and got exactly that. The house is up in the mountains above Lenno with access to good restaurants but it was a challenging walk from town. Recommend getting a car and taxis are not consistent. We would go back to the area and back to the same house.

We had an amazing time in this special place. The view and access to the lake are perfect and well above most other homes found around the lake. We'll be happy to go back!

A lovely comfortable stay. Easy to walk to train station to get to Varenna, or the ferry to Bellagio.

Very beautiful apartment in a great location. When we checked in, we were met with a very nice host (we didn’t get his name) who showed us around the apartment and gave us great restaurant recommendations. We definietely recommend.

This airbnb was absolutely breathtaking! The views from all the rooms are amazing and couldn’t quite believe the views!! The apartment is located up the hill in Varenna. It is about a 25 minute walk down the hill to the centre of Varenna and there is also a few taxi companies which Andrea recommended (book these in advance to secure your space!) There is also a night bus that takes you up the hill for free! Which runs from 9pm to 12am (midnight) which was so good. This trip holds a very special place to us as my boyfriend actually proposed to me in the middle of lake Como! I would 100% recommend this airbnb to anyone, perfect location, perfect views and a great host overall!

Communication with Sveva was extremely smooth and she was very quick to respond to any questions. On the day of arrival, she was already waiting for us at the door. She led us to the place. The place, linens and beds were very clean. She also had all the necessary utensils in the kitchen. We found the stay very pleasant and would book again.

A nicer place is hard to find around Como lake. Such a beautiful house and close to impossible to find a caring host together. It makes the most sense to stop looking for another place and book a place with great service. Thanks for everything

We had a wonderful time in Como and especially in Guglielmo's outstanding accommodation. The apartment is spacious, very clean, has two large bathrooms and above all the large kitchen incl. Amenities are phenomenal. Since we didn't fly back until the evening, Guglielmo immediately allowed us to stay completely flexible until 6 PM on the last day, which gave us an extra day without checkout stress, which is not a given. Thanks for that and for the great time. We'll be back.

Our short visit to Lake Como was nothing short of amazing! From breath taking views, aperitivo at the local bar with the locals, convenient location to the water ferry, walk way along the lake and delicious local eats. Our warm welcome from Roberto made us all feel right at home. The thoughtful snacks and beverages were a bonus! Pack light as the narrow staircases were a bit challenging but overall an amazing experience for our first Lago di Como holiday! Grazie!

We really enjoyed our stay!

Very good communication, flexible. Nice family of landlords :-) The place was everything as described, comfortable beds, we slept very well, quiet neighborhood. It is easy to get from this place to Milan,Monza, over Como and many other places of interest. You can park two cars by the building. We recommend staying with Benedetta, Lucci and Stella.

This apartment was spacious and perfect for our family of 6. It was in a great location - 5 minutes from the Lake Como Greenway, 15 mins to Lenno ferry port. It is also close to the bus stop and nearby supermarket. We loved it as a base to explore the middle lake. Riccardo and Valeria were such friendly hosts and their son Davide was always available to answer questions and make local recommendations. We had a great stay in Ossuccio.

Mattia has been an incredible host. The flat is well located 15 minutes from Como, with all you need to enjoy a relaxing stay, barbecue and enough space with a beautiful garden.

David was very responsive throughout the process. He sent me a video showing the condo and the views of Lake Como and the surrounding mountains. I communicated that we would arrive early and there was someone waiting for us to let us in and show us around. The condo was gorgeous and very clean. The kitchen was fully stocked. I highly recommend David’s condo!

This is honestly the best vacation home I have ever stayed in, and we travel a lot. The pictures of the view don’t do it justice. We were in awe just staring out every window at the beauty of the mountains and lake. The indoor pool, sauna, and steam room were great places to relax and unwind, and even better it was private (you book the hour). The inside of the home was beautiful and the kitchen had everything you need. At first we didn’t have a car, but after seeing how high up the mountain we were, we went back to town and rented a car for the duration. Made it a lot easier to explore without having to rely on taxis. Can’t wait to come back.

We stayed at this home for 4 nights. It was as shown in the pictures and very quiet. Contact with Irene was smooth from the beginning and she clearly described the way to the farm. The place doesn't have that much to offer, but is a good base for looking at another place. The accommodation is on an olive farm and Irene also sells the specially produced olive oil there. We couldn't use the pool due to the weather, but the view of the lake from the balcony is unbeatable. We absolutely recommend the place and would certainly come back.

This place was very spacious and could comfortably fit at least 5. It’s in the perfect location to access both San Giovanni train station and Borghi train station. The place itself is located next to a yummy pizza place and other great restaurants. Access to the Como ferry is also only about a 15 minute walk.

The property is very homely. A wonderful nest to spend a relaxing weekend. The stove and the wood provided were fabulous. In addition, it was one of the most comfortable beds to sleep in.
