Cottage vacation rentals in Province of Como

We stayed at the farm for a family Christmas. Homes and spaces have largely exceeded all guests' expectations. All rooms have a bathroom, and the kitchen is exceptional, equipped with everything. The table had been prepared with care and style, and there was ample space for the kids to play. The common spaces are even equipped with a fireplace and outside there is a garden with some games. The patio, sunny in the morning, has white chairs. Giovanna was welcoming and kind in meeting all our questions or requests and the place is really special. Highly recommended.

Il Borgo was an absolute dream to stay at and it by far surpassed our expectations. We visited Italy for the first time and to be hosted by Luca & Marina on our trip, has set the bar super high for any further trips we may have. Never have we ever met such amazing souls. We booked an air bnb, with the usual expectations. Luca & Marina showered us with so much love and care, that we are still blown away. The views were spectacular, the home was so cosy and immaculate, but what stood out the most was the passion, care and love of Luca & Marina. They both have really put their heart and souls into everything they do. And it really shows that their passion is not business, but rather to be genuine kind souls. To say we all shed a tear on departure of our trip for one another. Just goes to show, how much of a lasting impression they have had 💕thank you Luca & Marina, our Italian parents 💗

We were received in a very friendly manner and even received active support in bringing in the luggage. Francesco was always available and gave us great tips. We felt very comfortable in this super clean, beautiful apartment with its own lake access and beautiful views. The kitchen was super equipped and had everything you needed. Our children (8&5 years) loved the small playground in front of the apartment and the free access to the lake at all times. Thank you Francesco for the great time in your apartment, we would definitely recommend it to everyone and will definitely come back next year!

Our stay at Sonia's house was very nice. We've especially enjoyed Sonia's flexibility to check in very late, she guided us to the house and gave us a short tour and tips for the surroundings. The view and the sauna+whirlpool are stunning and very unique. Requests from us during our stay have been answered immediately. We would definitely come back. Thank you!

We rented for the entire month of August because we like to escape the heat of Spain. And we really got it right, we loved the place and the house. In the mountains, good temperature during the day and cool at night. In the middle of the forest we enjoyed nature and tranquility. Many walking paths in the woods, many very nice places to visit around Lake Como. We loved everything! We'll be back for sure! And the owners are wonderful people, thank you very much for everything!

A very nice week spent with the family in the heights and freshness (welcome!) of Lake Como and the beautiful city of Varenna. The place is located in a natural setting. We were surprised to discover a hot tub! The exteriors are very nice and well equipped ( garden furniture, sun loungers) . The interior is very as described. A good location to explore Lake Como by day. we also spent a day in Milan taking the train to Varenna. Patrizia was very responsive to any inquiries.

This property is in a stunning location. Everywhere you look is beautiful. The house is basic but is comfortable and has an amazing and secure outside space. I took dogs with me and it is just perfect for them. The village is very traditional and quaint and if you like walking this is the place for you. The walks are amazing, the views spectacular and always a new pathway to follow. Waking up in the morning and opening the door to the view of the mountains and lakes, sitting on the balcony with a coffee is a treat every day. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderfully relaxed stay at Davide’s place. The villa was very spacious and private with a wonderful outdoor sitting room and kitchen (with same indoors). Everything we needed was available on arrival - water, tea, coffee, bathroom accessories, etc., Porlezza is a gorgeous walkable town beside stunning Lake Lugano. Highly recommended!

We felt very comfortable in Maura's stone house from the beginning! The house is unique. It has so much charm and every detail is lovingly chosen! The house is perfectly equipped, we lacked nothing! Maura explained everything to us in detail. We enjoyed every minute and will be happy to return! Thank you very much, Maura!

Enjoyed our stay in Argegno on Lake Como. We appreciated that I was a small villiage out of the hustle and bustle of a large city Center. Excellent view of the lake and delicious local food. Edoardo was excellent at giving directions and reccomendations. The location was easy to walk to from the bus stop. It was also very clean

Needed a place to stay with 2 separate bedrooms basically last minute for 1 night. This was getting the job done without issues. They have an extra garage which was very beneficial. The little terrace was nice to just sit outside and unwind for a moment.

A beautiful home with lots of art and mosaics designed. A stunning lake view from the terrace. Place is clean and lovingly designed. The host responded to messages immediately and helped us promptly. We were not in transit, but can fully enjoy this beautiful place and highly recommend it.

We spent 2 weeks in the house. The view of the mountains and the lake from the large balcony is uniquely beautiful. At night you can see the many lights on the lake. The house is very quiet, the last distance from the parking lot you walk through a beautiful forest. You drive about 20-25 minutes from Dongo to the house. In Dongo there is a large supermarket, a nice cafe in the village and good swimming opportunities. We found a beautiful lawn on the lake with shaded trees where we could also take our dog. Simone was very friendly and helpful and available at all times.

Grandfather's house is very special. Ideal for an authentic Italian stay. We felt very comfortable above the tourism of Lake Como in the authentic Italian village. The furnishings are very solid and traditional, of excellent quality. We especially appreciated the small balcony from the bedroom overlooking the lake and the forest. The house is also nice and cool in hot temperatures. In the small courtyard we could also sit outside, which was lovingly designed. If you want to go to the forest, it's a few minutes away, which our dog really appreciated. Above the village is a spring where you can tap your own water. By the way, the best restaurants are located in the village or above in Breglia, tasty and cheap. But also for tourist excursions to the lake(by car) or for hiking in the mountains( walking from the house), the house of the grandfather is excellent.

This was a fabulous spot to stay on Lake Como. We couldn’t have picked better. It was such a luxury having the garden and being able to swim privately in the lake every morning and afternoon. Once we parked the car we didn’t need to use it again as the place is bang in the walkable centre of all we wanted to see. The first day we walked 15 mins north to Tremezzo where we got the ferry over to Bellagio (which we found heavily touristic but our teens enjoyed all the shops) and we enjoyed the gardens of Villa Melzi . The second day we walked 15 mins south to lovely Lenno - so pretty the waterside promenade and Villa Balbianello. The third day to Tremezzo and Villla Carlotta - lots of Villas! If we didn’t have our teens with us we would have had cocktails in the grand hotel in Tremezzo and we also would have eaten at the lovely restaurant in Azzano (looked like a real foodies haven). The house had such character and was tucked quietly away from the main road. And the views - incredible!

The place is super cute and you have a unique view. You can also call the path to the cabin from the parking lot but also a small ascent. Definitely don't take suitcases with you, a backpack is more convenient. It was a little dusty and the cabin is a little smaller than you expect from the pictures. Unfortunately, the mattresses were very uncomfortable. Communication was great at all times. Can definitely recommend the place, you can't get enough of the view and we felt very comfortable. You definitely have your peace and quiet ☺️❤️

Amazing city and host

We stayed at the cottage for 8 nights, mid end of August, and had a wonderful time. The contact with Marina, Antje and Andrea was extremely friendly, straightforward and helpful. Antje and Andrea speak German, which was very helpful. The place is very newly decorated and we loved the style. It is simple but stylishly designed. What you need is there and unnecessary things have been dispensed with. The hammer is the short path to a beautiful little beach, which is exclusively shared with the neighbors. Unlike the public beaches, you can also find shade there and can easily spend several hours reading and swimming. The small garden at the cottage offers a lot of peace and quiet. There were a lot of mosquitoes in our time. It seems that they are only there so you don't feel completely in paradise yet. Thank you very much for the wonderful time to you, Marina and team.
