Dome vacation rentals in Northern California

We did a friends weekend getaway to Paso Robles, and Steven's place was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. The house completely blew us away with its cool architecture, artistic furnishings and stunning 360 views of the surrounding vineyards. We loved how the dome shape emphasized communal spaces making cooking and socializing a breeze. Nothing we wanted to do or see in Paso was more than a short drive away but honestly we could have never left the Dome all weekend and been perfectly happy. Thank you Steven for curating this unique space!

This place was wonderful! It has such a cozy and comfortable vibe. It was clean, VERY well stocked with anything we could possibly need, and so cute! I can’t think of anything that could have made it better, other than maybe a longer trip to stay there. I would absolutely recommend the dome to others.

Fantastic place for 2 families with young children! We had a great time and definitely recomend Doug and Lynetta, they have been very communicative with lots of local suggestions! Sad we stayed for only 4 days 😪

The geodome is a unique stay. The cabin was comfortable and and well-styled. An added bonus is that there's plastic kid-friendly bowls, plates, and cups so we didn't need to worry about our young ones breaking anything. The open layout was ideal for our family to socialize while cooking and there's a cute play area upstairs with toys for the kids. The neighborhood was quiet and we were able to soak in the stars a night next to the fire pit. Maria was super responsive to all of my messages (responded in a few minutes), which was helpful when I couldn't turn on the washer/dryer since the breaker had tripped. Maria helped me locate the electric panel to flip the breaker and there wasn't any further nuisance tripping. We enjoyed staying at Maria and Jared's geodome and would come back again!

This was my first time using Airbnb and I definitely enjoyed my stay. The pictures Justin posted are very descriptive and helpful. The neighborhood is peaceful and you have everything you need in a close proximity. definitely recommend.

This was a peaceful lodging w/ a friendly host. It was what I expected & appreciated my entire stay. I was very grateful that Carla was willing to take me on as a last-minute guest and could accommodate my midnight arrival same day as booking. The only thing that made me a bit confused/uneasy was due to the internet. The description was clear that there was no cell signal on the property, but I didn't know that the internet was turned off at night, so I couldn't do any online research once I had arrived after a 7 hour drive. More importantly, I was very unnerved by the fact that there was no way to call for help or receive notification in a case of an emergency overnight. Thankfully, Carla was able to turn it on for my last night, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time. On another note, I marked it down a bit for cleanliness, but that's just because the house as a whole looked lived in, in the woods, and with pets. My bedroom and bath were perfectly clean.

We had a beautiful stay! Was so fun being so close to the coast and our favorite town Trinidad :) The dome house was cozy and enjoyable and my grandson loved that swing of course :) my dogs loved the little trails around the property and my children loved to sit around the fire pit. And of course the wonderful shower :) Made for a wonderful and memorable stay. Thank you folks for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful oasis ! You are blessed w a beautiful homestead! Hilltop Vineyard was a great experience! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views and the serene atmosphere of the property. The dome itself was cozy and beautifully designed, providing all the comforts we needed while immersing us in nature. One of the highlights of our stay was the fantastic playground for the kids. It kept them entertained for hours, allowing us to relax and enjoy the stunning surroundings. The property is impeccably clean and well-maintained, giving us peace of mind during our stay. There’s plenty of space to explore, making it perfect for family walks and outdoor activities. Overall, Hilltop Vineyard is a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and create wonderful memories with family and friends!

Place was easy to find (Google took me exactly to the driveway). The house was recently remodeled, with nice, modern bathrooms and a kitchen with open counters, great appliances (love the induction stove!) and a good supply of cooking equipment. Lots of open space surrounding the house made it peaceful and gave space for our dogs to safely run around. There’s a nice small lake within walking distance and we found a good fire road a short distance away for hiking. The geodesic dome is pretty cool - because of its shape, when someone talks to you in the living room from the upstairs balcony, it sounds like they’re right next to you!

Spent my super blue moon birthday at the dome with my partner. It was SUCH a gorgeous property, beautiful views, super cozy and had all the basic necessities. Ursa the dog gave us a warm welcome and we loved hanging out with her, she was a highlight for sure. The showers/bathrooms were super clean and nice & close. Would have loved to spend more time here exploring the property and surrounding area. Would absolutely recommend this spot and will definitely be returning.

It was a great stay! Driveway was a little tricky, but just follow the notes and the video and you will be fine!

the Astral Lotus is a gem, beautifully situated with an epic view and all the comforts you don't expect but are delighted to find in a camping experience. This is a fabulous glamping experience, highly recommend! Hosts are lovely as well.

We booked the dome and the canvas tent for one night and loved every minute of it - wish we had stayed the whole weekend! The dome does get really warm during the day (as it's in the direct sun) but you can vent it and there is also a fan in there. It cooled off by the evening and was cozy all night. I wasn't sure about the power situation but there is a power strip so you can charge your phone in the dome as well over by the shower/ kitchen. The bed was comfy and sitting on the deck just watching the river was the best way to relax after a long week on the road. Absolutely recommend this spot if you need to slow down and reconnect with nature. The bath house/camp kitchen has everything you need to get clean/cook. Definitely will stay here again!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at Megan’s Place the Dome! The home was spotless, stylish, and exactly as described in the listing—if not better. The location was perfect for everything I needed, and the neighborhood felt safe and welcoming. Check-in was seamless, and communication with the host was easy and prompt. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and had everything I needed for my stay. The little touches like complimentary snacks, local guidebook, extra towels, etc. made it feel like a true home away from home. I truly recommend it ! Only bad thing I have to say, wish I stayed longer ! I wouldn’t hesitate to book this place again the next time I’m in town. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay at The Acorn Dome! Beautiful and inspiring surroundings and it felt like we were away from it all while being completely comfortable. Everything was clean and cozy. The detached bathroom and shower were awesome and the heater/ac in the dome worked perfectly! The kitchen was everything we needed-little fridge, induction oven and toaster oven-we made a great breakfast before checking out and making our way into downtown Ashland (which is only a few mins from the dome’s location). I would recommend this stay for anyone wanting the yurt/geo dome experience while also staying warm, clean and cozy. And Ashland downtown is close by and is the cutest town with some of the best coffee (Equator Coffee). Okay! Stay here! ♥️

place was so peaceful. 2 hours away from Yosemite National Park. make sure to screenshot all instructions of how to arrive before you drive up since service can be spotty.

My partner and I had a great time at Wendy and Alan’s cabin. It was beyond our expectations and we wish we booked a longer trip. Perfect for a nice, cozy getaway. We appreciated the nature around us and being able to experience it all. It is a bit far from markets/restaurants but there’s a nice kitchen space to prepare meals… which was honestly the highlight of the trip. Finding the airbnb wasn’t tricky and check in was smooth. Wendy and Alan were very communicative and accommodating as well! We can’t wait to stay here again!

Our stay at this Airbnb was great! The farm animals were definitely a plus for us. They were so friendly and spend a good amount of time hanging out with them. The place felt cozy and peaceful. Would come back again!

We had a great stay at the Geodome! My husband and I were looking to have a peaceful weekend retreat in the mountains and this place was perfect. The only thing I'd note is that the kitchenette appliances are pretty sparse, and the only way to heat up food is on the grill outside. Thank you for being great hosts, Sarah and Adam!
