Treehouse vacation rentals in Northern California

We had such an amazing time here, you can really tell the owners put a lot of care into making this place a home away from home. Had everything we needed and more. Coming from a three day backpacking trip in Yosemite this was a much needed break. Breakfast and relaxing on the deck in the sun by the water listening to the birds, we were even surprised by 5 or 6 deer in the front yard the last morning, it was awesome. The house was very nice, had enough space for myself and eight friends, ample towels and bedding, all the cookware and supplies you could ask for, AC and heaters, they even had three boats we used to go fishing for a few hours in the morning. The lake was awesome, the ONLY negative here is the $50 entrance fee to the Pine Mountain Lake neighborhood. They do have amenities in PML that help make that worth it and the pass is for 7 days, but we didn’t have time to go check those out, oh well. Altogether this place was unforgettable and my friends and I can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful cabin, great location, well appointed, clean. Cozy and warm, this place was perfect for our little family getaway to play in the snow. The extra touches like plenty of board games, books, little soaps, quilts, and firewood elevate the experience. Host was very responsive and friendly. We didn't have any issues during our stay and had a perfect weekend. Highly recommend!

You can't beat staying in the Park! It's centrally located to the Valley and Mariposa Grove. The best part was the view from the balcony. Even saw two deer. Both bedrooms and bathrooms are downstairs. Loft access is a ladder (child gate provided). Both floors have balconies. Strong wifi. Watch out for spiders. The main microwave and stove fan does not work, but there's a smaller microwave on the counter. Bonus: there's a rice cooker!! Tips: No cell service (Verizon). Copy the Wi-Fi code ahead of time in case you can't get in upon arrival. That way you'll have internet by porch to ask for help. We had to drive up to the mailboxes to call/text cuz code didn't work. Only shower towels are provided, so bring hand and face towels and shampoo & conditioner. Bring cooking oil or spray. Shower 1: knob was kinda tricky for hot water. Half of us couldn't figure it out and needed help - mom (me) to the rescue! Family of 7 loved our stay! (Dad, Mom, Gma, 4 Children (3 adults, 1 HS)

This river cottage was amazing! Quintessential Sonoma county living. We had a great time relaxing by the river and enjoying all healdsburg has to offer. The house was well appointed, all of the furnishings were very comfortable. WiFi was great for working remote. We wished the windows upstairs had real screens, but the curtains helped let us get some air in at night. Hope to visit again soon!

Everything was great! Place has unique climate and it is very cozy. Sara and Tony was responding very quickly and helped us with everything. Place looks so much better than in the pictures :) We really recommend this house!

This place is magical. There’s a creek in the backyard and surrounded by trees. You feel so far away from everything, but there’s a grocery not too far. The coffee shop right down the street is also very good. 10/10 would come back

This is a lovely place with such historic charm. Truly a gem in Modesto and really cool design that needs to be kept up. There are somethings that need to be attended to, and I’m confident they will make changes noted to them. I rented it the night before for the next day so I know that played a role and at the same time, if it’s available then it should be ready. We didn’t get to utilize all the things shared as cool features as they weren’t working. Overall, I would stay again on the premise that certain things are fixed as it’s a beautiful home near my family.

Beautiful cabin location for my family trip during the holidays. It was nestled among a creek and woods and it was very peaceful and cozy. Would love to come back in the summer and go kayaking. It was unfortunately raining hard during our stay but we had much to do inside with games, a fireplace and going into downtown to visit the numerous cute shops. Overall loved our stay!

This treehouse stay was incredible! The grounds are gorgeous. The shower was amazing. We fed the horses carrots and brought dog and cat treats for the other furry friends. The cat on property stole the show for us and hung out with us, such a sweetie. Grocery store and restaurants are close by. The experience was peaceful and serene. Hosts were super responsive and we felt like we had the property to ourselves. 10/10 recommend!

We loved staying here, and it’s somewhere we would love to come back to! It was all around a great experience; plenty of big windows in the cabin to look at the beautiful surroundings, a nice and usable kitchen, it was very cozy and they’ve made the space beautiful as well. Really loved the collection of furniture, art / trinkets, and great selection of books too. And Elizabeth was very communicative and accommodating!

It’s a treehouse, so it's more about charm and adventure than luxury. That said, the kids absolutely loved it and had a blast! We really enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and the peaceful atmosphere—it was a lovely escape.

My 6-year-old daughter requested we stay in a treehouse (with access to a pool) during her spring break, and this place did not disappoint. It was such a cozy world with perfect amenities you'd need (TV, fridge, temperature control) and access to a hot tub and pool. We had such an amazing stay and made memories for life!

Our stay was a dream! We wanted peace and quiet and that’s exactly what we got! Bethany’s place was fully stocked with everything me needed and then some. The extras Bethany supplied like coffee/tea, and smores were a hug bonus for us!! It’s sometimes the little things that make a huge difference! Her place was incredibly clean and very cozy! Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again!

Lovely drive up to the treehouse, thankfully instructions are very clear on how to get there and such a cute dog to greet me haha! Everything was stunning, was given a tour of the area and even given suggestions on where to take the best photos, so thoughtful! Everything is clean, amenities and views exceeded my expectations, would absolutely come again!

We had an amazing time at Nate's! The cabin was exactly how he had described it. It was everything we had hoped for and more. The beds were extremely comfortable, the kitchen was stocked and there was a big screen perfect to watch movies on! Nate lent us some sleds which were a big hit with our daughters! Throughout our stay, Nate was a very caring and responsive host. If you are looking for a place where you can make unforgettable memories, then, the cozy cabin is perfect for you! Beautiful place surrounded by nature. The view from the cabin is impeccable with no other structures visible all the way around. You may want to bring insect repellent if you are susceptible to bites. Although, I noticed that mosquitoes had a very narrow window when they were active before dusk. The hosts make you feels at home and are super friendly.

Karen and Will's place was truly the most amazing airbnb we've stayed at. It was built from the ground up by them (You can see how much work was put into building the home in a book they provide)!!! They put so much thought into every piece in the home. It was such a peaceful weekend and hope to stay here again soon! 10/10 recommend!!!

We had a truly amazing stay at Spencer‘s beautiful cabin treehouse. They were extremely accommodating, even letting us change our dates the night before because of a storm coming in. The cabin is cozy and has a stunning view to wake up to, fully stocked kitchen, And easy access to the amazing redwoods nearby. We even brought our dog, she had a great time too!
