Comfy cozy corner lot in Sparks

Steven CRating, 5 stars4 days ago
It's a good location, with easy Uber rides to the casinos, and a short drive to restaurants and shopping. The house has everything you could ask for and more. If you have a dog, this is the place to stay. They will be in heaven in a fully-fenced in backyard. There are bowls and even a crate with a bed inside. My pup had a better time than we did, and our stay was fabulous. Kudos to Becky for the perfect Airbnb.

Vibrant Boho Home | 3 Bed | Pet Friendly l UNR

WilliamRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Very convenient location... close to shopping (for groceries or the items we inevitably forget) plus easy access to the highway and downtown, but in a quiet neighborhood for peaceful nights "at home". Michael was very responsive and the check in/Check out processes were super easy. Bonus points for personalized door code!

Amanda’s house was perfect for our ski weekend. Close to multiple ski resorts but still close to Reno for dinning. The house was the perfect size with a fenced yard for our doggies to run around. The place was spotless and had all the necessary amenities. I would definitely stay again!

By the time we checked into the Airbnb it was dark outside which made it a little harder to find the location. The Airbnb is in a quiet and clean part of Reno, with dining close by.

This spot is lovely! The apartment above the detached garage is beautifully and comfortably furnished and decorated. There are thoughtful and creative additions that make it just delightful! Everything we needed was there for us. We also enjoyed the deck and sitting outside there in the sun. It was a very private and quiet setting and the yard is full of charm and lovely plants! We loved it! Thank you so much for creating such a perfect getaway space!

Desert Gold - A Midtown Treasure - Reno, NV

KirstineRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Our stay here was really nice, perfect for our family getaway to visit other family. We loved being so close to places to eat and grocery shopping. The space was clean and uncluttered, the light from the windows during the day was wonderful. The outside area in the front and back porches were perfect to enjoy a cup of coffee in the mornings. The only thing that was a bummer was the place shares a fence with a parking lot of a business that stays open late. On the weekend nights (or early mornings) there was a lot of noise from patrons that had been drinking leaving the restaurant and hanging out or playing music from their cars. But other than that the stay was great!

Best Neighborhood in Reno!

CherylRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Pretty much had everything we needed to do for a cook out dinner with the family. Jacuzzi got hot but the jets didn’t work but we still manage to enjoy our stay. I love that it is very pet friendly and they had doggy toys, pee pads, and doggy bowls available. Location is 15 minutes away from all the Casinos which wasn’t that bad of a distance. Great home to stay for a peaceful get away from the city life in the Bay Area.

The Only Safe Bet in Reno. :-)

NicoleRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
James and Christine are absolutely wonderful! Very responsive and hospitable. So many recommendations I wasn't able to take advantage of all of them due to time constraints. I was looking for a realtor, and they referred me to someone whom I absolutely loved! I had one small issue with the shower and James could not have been more prompt in assisting me. I was travelling with 3 dogs, and they were very accommodating in allowing me to stay at their home with them. Their house is darling, thou a little smaller than I anticipated. The backyard is quite large and I enjoyed sitting out there with my morning coffee. I would definitely recommend their home to anyone looking to stay in Reno!

Stylish Home w/ City-Mountain View 40 min to Tahoe

PrestonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The home was beautiful, and spacious. It was actually bigger than expected. The hosts were great! They got back to me quickly when contacting them. The hosts were flexible with the reservation. I needed to change some things last minute and they were able to work with me. The area was quiet, with a variety of stores and places to eat. The house rules and instructions were simple and to the point, making it easy at check out. The property was worth the amount listed, especially if traveling with a larger group.

Your guide to Reno

All About Reno

For a place that calls itself the Biggest Little City in the World, Reno isn’t all that large. Measuring roughly 100 square miles in Nevada’s high desert, the midsize town punches well above its weight class, with world-class galleries and museums, of-the-moment restaurants, and an entertainment industry that feels quaint compared to Nevada’s other big tourist draw. And it all happens in the shadow of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

To get your bearings, take a stroll down Reno’s Riverwalk, the heart of downtown, dotted with wine bars, bistros, clothing boutiques, and open spaces perfect for stretching out. Better yet, head to Truckee River Whitewater Park to dip your paddle in Class II rapids. For even more fun on the water, the glistening shores of Lake Tahoe are less than an hour away. One of the biggest and most beautiful lakes in the United States, Tahoe attracts visitors year-round to its sandy beaches and iconic ski resorts.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Reno

The Reno-Lake Tahoe region becomes a hub for skiing, snowboarding, and other cold-weather sports during the winter months. As the snow melts, the lush greenery and beautiful foliage take center stage. Spring is a great time to visit as the crowds have thinned out, making it easier to get vacation rentals in Reno. With so many warm-weather outdoor activities on offer in the late spring and summer, the city takes on a vibrant energy as people rush in to enjoy the hiking, paddling, and biking in the area.

A calmer atmosphere settles in during fall, making it an excellent time to explore Reno's rich nature as the leaves change from emerald green to a sea of red, orange, and yellow. And in October, Reno transforms into Little Italy, as a festival celebrating Italian culture brings live entertainment, a sauce-cooking competition, grape stomp, and an Italian-themed farmers’ market to town.

Truckee River Bike Path

Extending more than 12 miles, the Truckee River Bike Path takes you along the river in Downtown Reno and past beautiful marshland as you make your way to the neighboring city of Sparks. The trail is part of the longer Tahoe-Pyramid Trail connecting the source of the Truckee River to Lake Tahoe.
