Vacation rentals with a patio in Ventura

Loved staying here! Joel was great - very thoughtful and responsive and made us feel comfortable! He added a lot of little touches that shows he really cares about his guests. The space was clean and full of the amenities we could have wanted. I wasn’t aware that we weren’t quite staying in a separate guest house but instead the bottom floor of the home he lives in. We could hear his big sweet dog running around upstairs - FYI in case you’re worried about noise. The drive between the house and main road takes about 3-4 minutes and is extremely steep with winding sharp turns on the side of a hill - wish I would’ve known that at booking, as it felt treacherous enough that I didn’t want to do the drive in the dark and thus felt the need to always be back at the house before sunset. All in all though, it was a great stay and the views were beautiful and have no regrets about it!

Sean was a great host and always answered any queries we had quickly. Checking in was easy and the place was exactly as described. We had a great stay and if we ever visit Santa Monica again from the UK we will definitely look into this place!

We really enjoyed our stay at Shawn’s place. I plan to stay there again the next time I’m in LA.

Jason is an amazing host. He is very responsive and helpful. The cute place has everything you need for either a short term or a long term stay. It’s quiet but it has a lot of restaurants and stores within walking distance. Definitely will come back next time we visit Thousand Oaks.

Have stayed multiple times here with Kiran. It is always so clean and she is very responsive if we have any questions or need anything. We enjoy an easy walk to and on the beach at the end of a busy week and we have our favorite local restaurants we enjoy going back to. Big fave was finding Anacappucino Coffeeshop so close! Appreciate all Kiran does to make sure her place stays at such a nice/high standard!

Julie and Steven’s spot was a perfect, peaceful getaway. Surrounded by the Santa Monica mountains, it’s only a short ride into town, making it easy to spend the day at the beach and come back to the quiet in the evening. I came home from the trip well-rested, the mark of a great staycation. Thanks, Julie and Steven!

Natty's place is clean, beautifully decorated, and exactly as shown in her photos. Communication and check-in with Natty were smooth and stress-free, and she kindly accommodated our travel schedule. Her place is in an ideal location, within easy walking distance of many delicious and cute coffee shops and restaurants. We had an absolutely wonderful time and will definitely book again the next time we're in the Summerland-Montecito-Santa Barbara area!

Great place. I've stayed there a couple of times already. Communication is always a breeze. Check in is automated and easy. The apartment complex is beautiful and the area is nice.

Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely wonderful! The location was perfect—everything we needed was close by and easy to reach. The apartment was spotless and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need. One of the highlights was the charming little garden, which felt like a peaceful oasis and gave us the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. We felt completely at ease and really enjoyed every moment of our time here. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it!

This was a true vacation. Some places are pretty - this one was gorgeous and super comfortable. The space was so accommodating to us as a family - the rooms to sit, the outdoor table, the upstairs deck, the pool table. I will savor always these memories. The pool table converts to a large table and we had our meals there. The upstairs deck with the fire pit was heavenly - we could hear the ocean. The kitchen has what you need - we were able to have 10 for dinner (local family plus those at the B&B). The beds were super comfortable and so quiet at night - again, with the windows open you can hear the waves. I would LOVE to return to this property. Very responsive management and let us check in early which was so helpful! Thank you for truly a rejuvenating stay!

I've stayed at this AirBandB several times and plan to return. The house is beautiful, comfortable and well equipped. Everything is in good working order. The beds are comfy. There is everything that you need to cook or bake. I especially enjoyed the midcentury modern sleek decorating style. Thanks Bob!

Incredible property! Megan was an ideal host, quick to respond and more than accommodating. The home was perfect for our little family. The proximity of water to house was second to none. We have travelled quite and bit and use Airbnb often, the jacuzzi to fire pit to ocean proximity is unmatched. Will definitely stay again, can’t recommend Megan or her property enough!

Me and my family stayed here for the weekend and it was so beautiful. The house was so clean and they provided us coffee. There was a pool that we got to enjoy. The house itself is so beautiful and it’s very close to the beach. We loved everything about it. We wish we could’ve stayed longer definitely coming back.

Spectacular. Almost intellectual in its cultured ambience, with its high, uplifting beamed ceilings and the glass wall of light drawing focus to the inspirational view of the coastline, the sea with the channel island of Santa Cruz breaking up the horizon, and the sky. You can hear the waves at night above the peacefulness. The owner’s culinary sophistication is evident. Artful dishware, good cookware. The next time I go (and I definitely plan to!) I will use the rice cooker and prepare a meal. The best stocked pantry I have seen. We enjoyed the vinyl albums and turntable. We were comfortable with the tasteful furniture and bedding. We admired the light fixtures, houseplants, and interesting art and literature that surround you. Exquisite.

I had a very nice stay. The host informed me when I booked it that there was no AC, and fans were available if it got hot, and I was fine with that. It did get a little warm, but the fans made it work. If you are very sensitive to heat though, I would not stay here. There are also steps to the front door through the courtyard and down to one of the rooms, as seen in the pictures, to keep in mind for mobility concerns.

This place is a comfortable oasis surrounded by beautiful gardens and a generous outdoor patio. Inside felt like a real home, uncluttered but with nice furniture and decor, and a fully stocked kitchen, including an electric water kettle and Keurig. The bathroom had plenty of shelving and hooks for towels. There's AC/heat in the bedroom and living room. The neighborhood is really quiet, but in a good location. The front door has a lockable screen if you want to get airflow, and it's several steps up from ground level (in case that's an issue for you). The drive to San Buenaventura State Beach, downtown, and the historic Mission District is about 10 minutes. About 5 minutes to the 101. Would definitely stay here again!

My wife and I stayed here while I attended a conference 45 minutes away, inland. I’m so glad we stayed where we did because of the views. Not difficult to get around. Grocery store and restaurants are not a far drive away. The place had everything we needed. Older adults, so pretty quiet. You can see and hear the ocean from the condo. Host was quick to respond to any questions.

Sam and Amber are great hosts and their place is perfect for a few days Santa Monica and LA. It’s very close to the beach, pier and the 3rd street boulevard (shopping and restaurants). Both of them replied quickly and were always helpful. The apartment has everything you need and is well equipped. The free parking in a garage is a big plus! We would come back and can absolutely recommend the two and their apartment!

The property was very beautiful in a walkable neighborhood of Manhattan Beach, close to almost anything you could think of. When we arrived the place was definitely cleaned and ready to go. MB is one of my favorite places so to have found this last minute only a min or so walk from the beach was awesome! Check in was breezy and we seemed to have our own privacy which was key! This was a mother-son trip .I will give it to them the property is clean and in a perfect area. Upon check in the replies were a bit impersonal. Didnt really get the welcome to MB from the host i have experienced with past airbnbs. Got a “yea we have basics” reply to my question about pots and pans and although this didnt affect the stay in any way there was a moment or 2 i was second guessing the vibe, when the host did reply it was short and concise(to the point) Also it definitely gets a bit hot inside, and the AC could have been more efficient but what do u expect in LA😎☀️🕶️ We would live here its great

John and Vincent were perfect hosts. Went out of their way to make the check in smooth, and be responsive. Their bnb is in a fantastic location, we walked everywhere , access to the beach was super easy and we were surrounded by great restaurants. My family had a wonderful break, we would go back in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed out stay at Tom's condo very much. Really nice space with plenty of room for two couples. We would definitely come back if we come back to the area again.

This is perfect for a couple or a family with 2 small children. The kitchen was well equipped if you want to cook but restaurants are within walking distance. The beach is a block away, as well as a grassy park. Would definitely stay here again!

I had a great stay at this Airbnb in Hollywood. Check-in was super easy, and the place had a great vibe from the moment I arrived. Everything was clearly explained, which made it really simple to settle in. The location is perfect — close to everything I needed. Parking was easy and convenient, and the apartment was clean, tidy, and comfortable. Highly recommended!
