Thor was responsive and catered to our group very well. The hotel was right off 5th Ave right in the heart of Playa close to the beach, nightlife, shopping, great food and the courtyard was a cool spot to chill as well. Would recommend and stay at again.

My family and I stayed at this AMAZING place for a two week vacation! It was outstanding!! Best resort we have been to ever! Helen was super awesome to communicate with prior to our trip. Answered all my questions at a very timely fashion. Answered everything honestly. She sent all the paperwork we needed in advance to our travel. She was extremely easy to deal with. I would highly recommended this resort and Helen as a host! Can’t wait to go back!

Allan was great at explaining how the time share works as it was my first time. I went alone with my 6yo daughter. We really liked Sandos Caracol because it is in the Jungle and feels very natural. Staff is all very friendly and there is a lot to do for kids. However, it is a 3 star resort so your expectations need to match that - not everything is very new and the food did not match Club Med (where we went afterward). But all in all, we preferred Sandos Caracol to Club Med Cancun which was twice the price! We loved having access to the Royal Elite club. We spent most of our time at that pool and the food at that restaurant was very good. We really liked being able to book our dinner reservations before we got there. We plan to go back next year. Our stay was very pleasant. Of course our biggest concern was Covid and what protocols were in place at Vidanta to protect their staff and guests. They require you wear a mask at any indoor facility as well as on the trams that are available to take you to and from. Mexico requires you have a vaccination card or negative Covid test to enter as well as a negative test to leave. Vidanta checks your temperature to enter and restaurant, spa, gym etc. as well as to enter Jungala. It’s a bit of a hassle especially when traveling- one more thing to worry about- but for now it’s our new normal. All that being said, it was clear that Vidanta takes the health and safety of their staff and guests very serious and it’s for that reason they haven’t had a positive case in 2 years. My husband and I went just the two of us for a little getaway but we’re definitely taking our three kids back. The room was clean and the staff was very warm and accommodating. There’s tons to do, eat, drink and play at vidanta so there was never a dull moment!

The place is as described and the value for money is quite fair. On the other hand, Allan's attention is simply extraordinary, he is always attentive, answers all your questions and regardless of your situation (we had to change dates) he finds a way to help you. Thanks for everything Allan!!

The resort is wonderful, super integrated with nature, very good restaurants, with a variety of options, many bars, the cenote next to the lobby is beautiful, be sure to book the El Templo restaurant. Staff always attentive. The Black bracelet is a "plus", it entitles you to several extra services including hydrotherapy in the SPA and exclusive area... I LOVED it, I would come back again even though the beach is not very good (lots of stones). Thank you Maxine for all your attention.

Everything in the description on airbnb was exactly like Allan described. I was a little hesitant to book due to unfamiliarity with Airbnb and an all inclusive resort, but Allan explained everything and it turned out exactly if not better than he described. Allen was always quick to respond to whatever questions we had. The resort was pretty large, but plenty of activities for the kids 13, 10, and 7. Pickleball, tennis, and pools. The beach at Sandos was incredible. All meals were incredible. Il piedmont was probably the best followed by le gourmet. The royal elite bracelets were great. They got you into a neat little bar (5th Avenue) with great drinks, pool tables, and a more laid back atmosphere. We visited the Carasol resort as well with bigger slides for the older kids. Would 100% recommend. Thank you Allan

We had an excellent stay at Sandos Caracol Eco resort. Allan is very responsive and super helpful. For example, our flights changed on the way there and Allen helped us with our transport to let them know of our new arrival time in Cancun. There were plenty of things for us to do while at the resort: swimming in river and cenotes, a water park (one for younger as well as bigger "kids" ) and we enjoyed seeing the wildlife around us at all times :) Lots of people wore water shoes as the majority of the beach had a rocky entrance, but if you go to the right of the royal elite beach area it is easy to walk in with bare feet (I did this everyday without issue). I found this option much more cost effective than booking with an actual travel company. We booked our flights separately and that cost combined with the cost to stay through with Allan (room cost + all inclusive fee) actually saved us $1000s of dollars. We totally recommend Allen!!!!

The place is exquisite. Better than we expected. More space than we needed. Lots of food choices. Great place to relax and rewind.

Maxime was great throughout the process, and I’d definitely book through him at any Sandos resort in the future. Clear communication and easy instructions made the experience seamless. As for the resort, Sandos Caracol has mixed reviews, but I still think it offers good value for the price. Our room was a decent size, though the amenities were very basic. I’d recommend bringing your own toiletries. While many reviews mentioned issues with hot water, our shower had hot water at any time, day or night. The resort grounds are fantastic—you truly feel immersed in the middle of the jungle. However, the food could definitely be improved. It’s fine if you’re not a big foodie, but it doesn’t stand out. The water park is very outdated and in need of significant repairs, and the kids' club could use some attention too. The beach has beautiful sand, but unfortunately, the water isn’t swimmable. Overall, we had a great time, but we probably wouldn’t return.
