Villa Ooch, 24/7 security, Complimentary Chef

TaranRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We booked this home for a bachelorette weekend, and it did not disappoint. We used the chef for meals when we stayed in, and the food was fantastic. Celine was very helpful during the months leading up to the trip and Sofia was amazing as the concierge during our stay. The house was beautiful and the location was perfect. We couldn’t have picked a better place. Thank you so much!

Casa La Belle Vie, luxury and art facing the Caribbean

JerryRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I loved this place. The views from each floor were so beautiful. The hosts were also amazing. They helped us with transportation, renting golf carts, making appointments for massages, having a cleaning lady, and to reserve the chef. All of which I recommend you do. Definitely a luxury experience!

Villa Rey—Traditional Hacienda Home Near Oaxaca

PriyaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This is by far one of the best air bnbs we have ever stayed at. The family that runs the casa are incredibly generous and friendly. They have a really yummy restaurant next door which we also would highly recommend. This was the highlight of our stay in Oaxaca. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you Chamin and your wider family!!

Grand Colonial Merida

JoseRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Staying at Greg’s home was an absolute delight. The property beautifully marries traditional Yucatecan architecture with modern comforts, creating a unique and inviting atmosphere. The high ceilings and colorful tilework reflect the region’s rich heritage, while the thoughtfully curated furnishings add a touch of contemporary elegance. One of the standout features is the lush courtyard, which offers a tranquil escape from the bustling city. The pool area, surrounded by vibrant greenery, became our favorite spot to unwind after a day of exploring. Inside, the rooms are spacious and airy, with ample natural light filtering through the large windows. Greg was an exceptional host—attentive, knowledgeable, and always ready with recommendations to enhance our stay. The home’s location on Calle 75 is ideal, placing us within walking distance of Mérida’s historic centro, yet tucked away enough to provide a peaceful retreat.

Carlos is very friendly and attentive to your questions. The only thing is that in your area there is a lot of noise in the mornings (if you are a light sleeper it doesn't help). The bed is a double. If you go for events near there, it's ideal, if you go for a walk downtown or to get to know the city, it's far away. Everything was very clean.

Great location (it is walking distance from everything you need to see), clean and spacious enough. Mary was communicative the whole time. Only downside is the stairs you need to take when you have heavy luggages - it is quite a workout! But overall it was a lovely stay!

A dreamy, historic home with amazing views! One of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in. You feel like you are in a quiet sanctuary in the hills while being so conveniently located in central Guanajuato. Tara is a great communicator, and all the thoughtful details she put into the place (especially the filtered water, coffee, and cooking utensils) made such a big difference. It was a great place to work remotely for a week! We had such a wonderful time here and would love to come back. Thank you for everything, Tara!

The apartment was in a great location - right near good bars and restaurants, the metro, etc. The security in the building was top notch, it felt very safe and secure. As for the apartment itself, it looked exactly like it did in the photos. A perfect layout for a loft, and the view of the city/mountains was incredible. Lastly, the apartment was extremely clean. Overall a 10/10 stay!

Lagoon Front Palafito on the lagoon @yayumbacalar

Most beautiful airbnb we have had the opportunity to stay at! The views were incredible. We specifically wanted a place on the water, as well as a place with multiple paddle boards (except we ended up taking the kayaks instead due to the waves, which were so much fun!). The bed was clean and comfortable. The a/c blows directly at you but it’s still better than overheating all night. And we couldn’t set our expectations too high from a hut on water. The dock was cool to walk out to and relax. The bikes were also a huge pro to go bike to a restaurant (Mr Taco for cheap tacos, and La Playita for great food and drinks on the water—both amazing!!) the hosts also allowed us to keep our car in the gate with our belongings until we finished an excursion which was so helpful. We definitely wish we had more than one night in Bacalar because it was definitely our vibe!

Beach Studio in Rosarito Beach

FabiolaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved our stay at The Studio! It felt safe and the location was great. Close to a Walmart, restaurants and just a short 15 min drive from hustle and bustle of Rosarito is located. The Studio was just as shown in the photos. Perfect for a couple. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The beach is just a short walk away, which we loved. Anyone looking to have a nice, peaceful and quiet couples getaway this is the place.

2BR/2BA Penthouse at Condesa. Air conditioning.

CameronRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our stay here was absolutely wonderful! Our hosts, María and Verónica, were very welcoming and incredibly proactive with their communication and instructions right out of the gate. We got into the city early before check-in and they made it super easy to store our luggage in a secure locker until the unit was ready. The actual unit was even better than the photos - it’s huge! The rooftop patio/dining area was a real treat and the interior was very clean/modern. For the four of us that stayed there, it was the perfect space for our weekend in Mexico City. Will definitely look to book again when coming back to the city.

La Casita, a surf spot

EricRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A lovely cabiña looking over the sea. The kitchen was smartly appointed for cooking meals including a small assortment of spices. I enjoyed not having wifi and signal for my stay. The coolers are sufficient for keeping food fresh. It felt nice to support a local family rather than staying at the condos owned by Americans. It’s a tranquil space with a wonderful view. I hardly left the space. It wasn’t an outstanding value, but I was grateful for a chance to be alone on the land.

Glass House #3 w/ Cenote "Glamping Experience"

JohnRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Beautiful experience staying in the glass house. The host provided us with very clear instructions on how to get there and if you stick to them and take your time you should have no problems finding it. I’ve always wanted to see hummingbirds and we saw plenty during our stay, but the sound of the jungle at night was a real highlight. I will certainly go back in the future.

Charming & Luxurious Casita by the Sea ~

CandiceRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A fairytale!! I can't say enough how beautiful, tranquil, and serene Leanne's space is. Leanne has a plethora of offerings to make your stay magical (I chose to go all out with the massages, CHOCOLATE CAKE OMG, charcuterie board, pastries, wood for a fire) because why not!? The money will return but memories are once-in-a-lifetime. My boyfriend & I accidentally fell asleep on the rooftop amidst the sound of ocean waves and the cool breeze. I was in heaven. I hope everyone gets to experience this gem. I am so blessed.

Your guide to Mexico

All About Mexico

Brimming with history and with a food scene that spans roadside stalls and Michelin-starred menus, Mexico is home to contrast galore. From breathtaking landscapes to buzzing city streets, epic coastline to ancient ruins, this is a country that personifies diversity. Crystal ocean waters beckon for refreshing dips, sweeping white beaches coax reluctant surfers out of their shells, and traditional tacos never fail to please even the most demanding of palates. Capital Mexico City’s frenetic energy reflects its metropolis status, with over 25 million residents, while the empty wilderness of Chiapas feels like a world away. Deep jungle and dense rainforest sit alongside vast desert and cactus-dotted flats. Regarded as the foodie capital of Mexico, the Oaxaca region is home to stringy quesillo cheese — found at the market in meter-long pieces — and widely used herb epazote, while Veracruz is the source of much of the country’s produce. Tulum’s picturesque Mayan ruins are a draw for visitors from all over the world, perched high on cliffs above the clear sea below.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Mexico

Weather-wise, be prepared for rain between late spring and September, although showers tend to be short and sharp, so they won’t dampen your whole day. Visitor numbers tend to tail off in May and June, and hurricanes are a risk in the fall months. Mexican Independence Day in September is a great way to feel the energy of any of its major cities. Wildlife spotters in Cancun are in luck in May, when whale sharks head there, whereas gray whales are a common sight in Los Cabos from fall right through to spring. Surfers head to Puerto Vallarta for prime waves starting in November and running past the end of February. For something a little different, take in the radish festival in Oaxaca on December 23 and watch as prizes are awarded for intricately carved scenes.

Top things to do in Mexico

Tempt your tastebuds in Oaxaca

From giant tortilla tlayudas to smooth, silky mole, Oaxaca is lauded by many as the food capital of Mexico. Located in the south of the country, the region and its capital of the same name often fly under the radar, but architecture fans will appreciate the Mexican Baroque style of Santo Domingo church.

Go surfing in Zihuatanejo

A fishing town at its core, Zihuatanejo is a distinctly laid-back destination. Nestled against the coast under steep hills, the rolling waves, no-fuss vibe, and seclusion of its location made it a beloved getaway for stars in the 1950s and 1960s, drawing in world-famous musicians, actors, and more. Nowadays, the surf is still good and the surfers are still chilled.

Explore the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef

Hugging the shoreline of the Yucatan Peninsula, the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef is the world’s second-largest barrier reef. Pick up a snorkel or a scuba kit and be amazed by vibrant local coral and hundreds of fish species, and spot sea turtles and dolphins swimming by in the warm turquoise water.
