Cabin vacation rentals in Solidaridad

Large, beautiful property with lots of charm and all of the amenities. It's the jungle and the buildings are simple, so prepare to contend with a few ( harmless ) bugs in the outdoor kitchen and in the rooms. Road to property is a bit long, narrow and rough. Internet was a bit spotty ( reportedly due to construction nearby ) but cell reception was good. Overall met my expectations and was a joy. Thanks Hiram!

What can I say about AKNA Cabanas. This has been my third time to Cozumel and somehow Jose manages to make it better easy time. I've never had an Airbnb host so invested in making sure I am having a great experience. He was kind enough to pick us up and drop off of at the airport for free. Provided endless recommendations about local restaurants and attractions. Connected us with locals providing tours (and getting us an amazing discount just for AKNA visitors). And overall, stayed in constant contact to ensure we had everything we needed and weren't having any issues. I've now traveled to 8 different countries and stayed in countless Airbnbs, but I can say the Jose has been the best host by far. I recommend this location to all my friends and family and will definitely be coming back in the future!

This place is perfect for certain travelers. It is secluded; not far from Akumal, but once you arrive here, you won't want to leave. It is a place to unplug, relax, and get away. The home is a beautifully-constructed palapa with screened bedrooms, but otherwise wide open. Jungle noises, fresh air, and yes, insects, bats, and iguanas can and do pass right through. There is no air conditioning or heat, and the lovely private bathroom is a short walk down a path. The stairs to the bedrooms are steep; something to think about if you need to use the bathroom during the night. The outdoor space is huge, including a private cenote used by other guests, but we were usually the only ones there. The grounds include a temazcal, and other hand-built structures and lots of indigenous art. There are hammocks to nap in; spider monkeys and many species of birds. The staff are lovely, and Christiam is great. All are very responsive and helpful. Bring plenty of groceries so that you don't have to leave.

We met Silvia the first morning and she was so friendly. All of the other employees were wonderful as well. The location is great and has easy access to the beach right around the corner. It is truly a little oasis. The food was delicious and frankly better than the food we had at several other locations near by. From a price, ambiance, location and food perspective, our stay at Cocos was much more worth it than our friends who stayed in neighboring facilities.

Great little stay very close to the beach, which was important to us. Good host, nice restaurant, friendly people. If you are high-maintenance, it might not be the place for you. Grass roof, stairs, open concept bathroom... But if you like unique and quaint, it was darling! We loved it.

Rodhe’s place is truly a gem. It’s peaceful, with the main square just a short walk away. The internet and TV were perfect for downtime, and the beautiful patio under the trees is ideal for relaxation. Highly recommended!
