Kid-friendly vacation rentals in River Severn

First time we’ve ever done Airbnb, no issues at all! Lovely property, great hosts, what’s more to like? The Welsh weather could have been a bit better, surely Airbnb can sort that in future? 🤣🤣🤣

Natasha is an excellent host. She had Bread, Milk and Welsh cakes there for us to make our stay easier. There were teabags, coffee, sugar, plates, cutlery all available to use as well. The bathrooms were also clean and tidy as well as the soft, fluffy, clean towels. The hot tub was amazing too as it helped with relaxing sore muscles after the hike we took. Very helpful, kind, thoughtful and accommodating Host. Natasha went above and beyond what a host should do really. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend Natasha as a host as well as this place to stay.

Lovely house in a beautiful village close to all restaurants and pubs. Everything we needed was in the property and we would definitely stay if in the area again. Highly recommended.

an incredible stay in Shrewsbury, such a perfect location, you're right in town with everywhere being walking distance the house is beautifully decorated and furnished perfectly, with plenty of space! the bathroom is lovely and the shower is amazing. there's plenty of amenities in the bathroom, kitchen and bedrooms which is always lovely! was so handy that lots of spices and sauces were there for us to cook with. there is parking out the front which is great, but quite expensive, but there is free parking around town and you can walk 10/15 minutes to the place. For such a great price and location, the next time I come to Shrewsbury I will be hoping the place is available 😁

We had a very enjoyable stay. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. Ideal location - we used the park and ride at Odd Down. Supermarket just over the road.

Delightful little home to stay in, everything you could need. Plenty of shops and restaurants in the local area. Quick communication from the host throughout including sorting a late check out. Perfect location for a Midlands meetup for geographically seperated working professionals

Clean, spacious, well kitted out, very convenient for town-centre and exactly as described. Blaenavon itself has a tired charm and is interesting for its mining/ steel-making heritage. The visit to the disused mine was fascinating - we didn’t expect to be travelling 90 metres down in the original mineshaft lift and exploring the old mine; the guide, an ex miner, was great. We also walked up Blorenge hill, starting for the house’s doorstep! Had a lovely meal in the Lion Hotel/ pub, just across the road

Amazing place for children, the outdoor space is magical and so much for them to do. Beautiful surroundings and the hosts were lovely. A few things in the house were a bit wonky but overall a great stay.

Lovely place and a great host!

Lise was incredibly friendly and helpful, and we really appreciated the thoughtfulness in leaving us some milk, food etc. in the fridge, which made us feel very welcome. The flat was very warm and quiet, but also right in the town centre. If you want to enjoy the Brecon Beacons, but to stay in a town with all the facilities, this is the perfect place. Our family of 4 (2 adults 2 kids) were very comfortable staying here. The decor was modern and lovely. The beachside views were incredible, and the sunsets! We wanted a peaceful weekend away from the noise and this home provided just that. The kitchen has everything we needed to cook a few meals, and we drove less than 10 minutes to local restaurants. Being able to walk outside and be on a sandy beach in less than a minute was more than ideal.

Had a fantastic stay in Pippa’s place with my family this weekend. Really good value for such a lovely place. Had the best weekend exploring the Devon coastline. Plenty of places to surf and eat. The place was clean, spacious and really well stocked. I usually carry a lot of ‘utilities’ with me when travelling but I didn’t need any of them in Pippa’s place. Was also really nice to be able to properly unpack as there is ample storage space. My children loved it too!

A wonderful stay in a great apartment. It’s even nicer than the photos. The hosts were great, very accommodating, responsive and helpful. There aren’t many steps to the apartment and it was easy to get in and out. Highly recommended. I would love to stay again,

Lovely apartment with views over the marina and city, close to Swansea city and on the doorstep of the beach. The view at night was beautiful too! Rich was very welcoming and answered all my questions prior to arrival too.
