Family-friendly vacation rentals in Munich

Super location for Marienplatz, yet in a quiet courtyard for escape from the busy streets. Great communication and helpful tips, plus Nicolas kindly met us at the station stop as we arrived quite late at night. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a nearby grocery store.

Casa confortevole, arredata con gusto, ampia e completa di tutto l’occorrente per trascorrere qualche giorno a Monaco. La posizione è decentrata, ma la zona è tranquilla, si raggiunge la fermata del treno in pochi minuti a piedi per poi giungere alla Stazione centrale in altrettanto poco tempo. Ottima la presenza nelle immediate vicinanze del supermercato. Io e la mia compagna siamo stati davvero bene nella casa di Annette e Ulf.

Ein Aufenthalt, wie man ihn sich wünscht Die Anreise verlief reibungslos, die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war freundlich, schnell und unkompliziert – ein angenehmer Einstieg in ein paar erholsame Tage. Die Wohnung war bei Ankunft sauber, gut vorbereitet und durchdacht eingerichtet. Besonders die Küche war bestens ausgestattet – ideal, um sich auch mal selbst etwas zuzubereiten. Das Badezimmer war gepflegt, ordentlich und hygienisch – hier stimmt einfach das Gesamtbild. Ein großes Plus: das WLAN – schnell, stabil und zuverlässig, genau wie man es sich wünscht, wenn man auch mal online etwas erledigen möchte. Insgesamt war es ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt mit einem stimmigen Gesamtpaket und einer Gastgeberin, der man anmerkt, dass sie sich Mühe gibt. Vielen Dank für die gute Betreuung – ich komme gerne wieder.

Schon die Begrüßung durch Pauline vermittelte ein gutes Gefühl des Willkommensseins. Es war, als würde man bei Freunden übernachten.

Die Kommunikation mit Susanne super geklappt. Auf meine Ankunftszeit wurde flexibel reagiert. Der Empfang war herzlich, mir wurden auch gute Ratschläge für Ausflüge in die Umgebung gegeben. An der Wohnung gibt es nichts aussetzen, es gibt eine groß Küche/Aufenthaltsraum, ein großes Bad und ein gemütliches Schlafzimmer. Die Lage ist ruhig, man hat direkt einen schönen Blick aufs idyllische Voralpenland. Au ist ein eher ruhiger Gemeindeteil von Bad Feilnbach, aber Selbstversorger finden alles Notwendige (Lebensmittel, guter Bäcker, Metzger). Alles ist zu Fuß zu erreichen. Es gibt auch ein gutes Restaurant. Mit dem Auto sind Wanderwege und schöne Ziele wie z.B. der Schliersee schnell zu erreichen. Man ist auch schnell in Bad Feilnbach. Hier gibt es mehre Gaststätten und Läden. Mir als Stadtmenschen hat die entspannte ländliche Atmosphäre gut gefallen. Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung, wenn man Ruhe und Erholung in einer netten Umgebung sucht

Séjour très agréable un peu à l’extérieur de la grande ville, mais qui se fait très aisément avec les transports en commun et une petite marche. Une belle retraite dans la tranquillité après de grosses journées de visite. Logement style cottage avec belle vue sur le jardin. Beaucoup de commodités offertes (sdb/cuisine bien équipées). Nous recommandons fortement! :)

We had a great stay in Joe’s apartment. We had everything we needed for our 18day stay. We loved the neighbourhood, lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Easy to get to Munich main train station for day trips. Joe was a great host very responsive. Would recommend staying here when visiting Munich.

Christina and her family offer a truly lovely stay. The location is perfect — peaceful and serene, yet just a short drive from some of the most beautiful sights in the German Alps. Staying here felt like being in a cozy alpine cabin. The kitchen is thoughtfully stocked, perfect for a quick meal after a long day of exploring. One of the highlights was enjoying dinner on the balcony while watching the sun set over the mountains. While there's no AC, with the skylights open (just don’t forget to close them before you head out!), a gentle summer breeze keeps the space cool and comfortable in the evenings. Everything feels fresh here — even the birds seem extra cheerful, singing every morning. Parking was easy, and Christina was proactive, kind, and incredibly helpful throughout. Highly recommend this stay for anyone looking for rest, nature, and a welcoming home base in the Alps.

Chris und Katja sind wahrhaftig Superhosts, wir haben uns sehr willkommen und aufgehoben gefühlt. Wir hatten die Freude beide persönlich kennenzulernen. This was a great location for me and my family to spend a few days in exploring the surrounding area. Very close to the train station that left on average every 10 minutes, we could get going or get home easily. The apartment itself is HUGE, which was a nice change of pace being in small hotel rooms. I loved relaxing in their deep, clean, soaking tub since it was a bit cold and rainy during our stay. It was kind of the hosts to include a variety of refreshments and snacks for us in the kitchen. Really the only thing I wasn’t totally prepared for was the hike up to the room… It does say that the room is on the second floor (which to me, read that you’d be going up one flight of stairs to reach floor 2…), but in reality it was more like 3 flights which was a bit of an unwelcome surprise after being delayed on our train journey and not getting in until nearly midnight. But we survived! I would definitely stay again, particularly if I was lighter on luggage… :)

Simply amazing. From the corner of one of the 2 balconies you can see the Neuschwanstein castle! Only a 8 minute drive to the castle. The other balcony has a lovely view of the lake! Very peaceful and quiet surroundings away from the hustle bustle of tourists yet close to everything. Everything was perfect and very spacious. Loved having a full kitchen fully stocked and a washing machine. There is an elevator which is super nice.

Das süße und wirklich toll eingerichtete Häuschen ist ein herzlicher Ort und wirklich gut durchdacht. Viele Gimmicks machen das Leben leichter und man spürt die Freundlichkeit der Gastgeber. Die Lage zum Spielplatz ist der Wahnsinn und der Garten ist zauberhaft. Wer wie wir Ende Juni dort ist sollte sich unbedingt auf ein Glühwürmchenmärchenparadiesspaziergang ca.30min nach Sonnenuntergang zur Isar begeben (5min zu Fuß entfernt). Es waren 100te Würmchen zu sehen.

Wir haben einen Kurzurlaub gemacht und waren mit der Unterkunft sehr zufrieden. Direkt von der Unterkunft aus kann man losgehen auf die Wanderwege. Zur Bushaltestelle und zum nächsten Supermarkt braucht man nur ein paar Minuten. Wir waren begeistert.

Our stay at Virginie and Marco was an absolute delight! The hosts were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They were always available for questions we had. The apartment itself is beautifully designed. We especially loved the spacious living room. The location was ideal, just steps from the underground and surrounded by a vibrant array of fantastic restaurants. We can't recommend Virginie's and Marco's place highly enough!

Christian was an amazing host! He was available for everything we needed. The apartment is beautiful, located in a residential neighborhood, just 10 minutes away from the city center in subway. I totally recommend :)

My wife, son, mother and I stayed in Ann-Kathrin’s apartment during our vacation to Munich. It was a perfect place for us to stay, and was in a very convenient location in the city. My son especially loved the many things to play with in the apartment, which entertained him for hours. We were all very comfortable in our rooms, and had plenty of space to relax. My son also enjoyed picking the strawberries on the balcony. Whenever we return to Munich, we’ll definitely check to see if Ann-Kathrine’s apartment is available!

The apartment was wonderful and very well located for a trip to the LMU. The neighborhood has a diverse range of restaurants, shops, services, and museums. The apartment is easy to reach via public transport from the airport. In addition, the apartment had all necessary amenities and was stocked very well with all things needed. It truly feels like living in somebody's home.

Mein Mann und ich konnten in der DG Wohnung von Hans 3 Nächte, anlässlich eines Messebesuchs, verbringen. Das Apt. war wie in der Annonce beschrieben und sauber. Das Bett im SZ und die ausziehbare Schlafcouch waren optimal für uns. Wohnung liegt im Wohngebiet, ein wenig von der Hauptstrasse nach hinten versetzt. Alles insgesamt sehr ruhig. Parken war kein Problem, da noch genug Plätze an der Strasse frei waren. Es empfiehlt sich jedoch eine frühere Anreise, um hier keine Probleme zu haben. (Feierabend/Wochenende der Anwohner, hier dann stark beparkt) Zur S-Bahn zu Fuss nur ca 10 min. Mega. Zur Messe bietet es sich an zu Fuss durch den RiemPark (ca. 45 min) oder, so haben wir es gemacht, mit E-Roller (ca. 10min) Zudem einige gute Restaurants in optimaler Laufdistanz. Hans als Gastgeber war immer zu erreichen, antwortete sehr zeitnah und war immer hilfsbereit. Alles in allem eine Schöne Unterkünft, und optimal gelegen für Messe-Besuche bzw. Sightseein

Stayed here for a period of 45 days. Very comfortable and homely. Decor has a very personal touch . Peter is very helpful and always available for any help. We had fresh fruits , juices and treats in store. The kitchen is well equipped . Supermarket is 5 mins walk away . Apartment is not too big but has ample of organised storage space . Overall , comfortable stay .
