A good place to stay for a weekend in Tijuana

We had a wonderful one night stay at John's! Instructions were crystal clear on everything from how to enter, contact info, our part of the house, the jacuzzi, the check out and more. The neighborhood is beautiful, walkable, and so quiet. There are homes next door but the lot is big enough that it still felt private. The house itself and the decor feels like a bit of a time capsule -- which to us means cozy, comfy and kitschy fun-- but if you prefer monochrome colors and barren horizontal surfaces you may not love it like we did. There were only two of us so we used the back bedroom and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was super clean and John even gave us extra towels! No complaints, just a slight issue with the jacuzzi but it was still usable and John was immediately responsive when we communicated. One tip -- BYO oil and whatever else you need to cook with. Hot drinks are provided. We enjoyed our stay so much and hope to return. Thank you John and family!!!

We had a lovely little family trip to Julian in this cabin and enjoyed our stay. The place was cute, cozy, and super well-organized - everything was clearly labeled, which made settling in easy. Great amenities too: plenty of cooking and cleaning supplies, plus the cabin included fun puzzles and coloring activities for kids. It was peaceful and quiet with a nice outdoor space, and just a quick drive to all the main spots in town. Cassandra was a great host - very communicative and quick to respond. Only tip: pack some extra warm clothes depending on what time of year you stay! It got pretty chilly, even with the heaters on in April.

A wonderful place in a beautiful location. We really enjoyed watching all the wildlife from the balcony. The home was warm and very comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and more. Kathleen made it real easy to check in. And instructions for everything were clear. Loved the fireplace! And our pups did too!

Rictor’s place is such a gem among the other listed places near Julian. It was absolutely perfect for two people. The scenery is beautiful and it truly is very private and remote. We came out for my birthday and it truly couldn’t have been better. The only thing I will say is that you will hear a lot of sounds - you are out in the wilderness so hearing some wildlife at night and early morning is honestly expected. Overall I had the best time ever and will definitely be back!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming cabin on Pera Alta Drive in Julian, CA, and I couldn't be more impressed. The location is absolutely stunning, nestled in the serene beauty of lush, green hills which provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cabin itself was impeccably maintained, featuring a cozy and inviting ambiance with its wooden exterior and large windows that let in plenty of natural light. One of my favorite features was the peaceful garden, filled with vibrant flowers, that added to the sense of tranquility. The small path leading to the entrance enhanced the charm of this beautiful property. Additionally, my interaction with the host was exceptional. They were incredibly responsive and attentive, ensuring that my stay was nothing short of perfect. I truly appreciated the warm welcome and the thoughtful touches they added to make the experience memorable. Overall, this Airbnb deserves every one of its five stars

Just perfect. Close to town yet secluded enough to unplug. Gorgeous wild life in the yard. WiFi is good. Property was very quiet and relaxing. Bed is a full size so be aware of that if you are a couple sharing a bed.

This was such a beautiful spot! The photos didn’t do the place justice. Natalie has done an amazing job with upgrading the cabin and ensuring her guests have a wonderful stay. The cabin was clean and very cozy. She had all the amenities listed (and more). The location was peaceful and exactly what me and my family needed! The swing was our favorite part! I saw my in laws jump on and the smiles on their faces made the trip. I recommend this for anyone looking for a nice “home” away from the city! Natalie was a great host! She was very responsive, kind and answered any questions. She’s amazing.

Very nice and quiet area, if you wanna stay away from everything then this is the perfect little spot for you. Enjoyed my stay here and would definitely stay again when I want to get away.

I needed a place in the mountains in Ramona, this place was completely private, quiet, I had the whole place to myself. The host was very responsive to my messages, very helpful, I’ve stayed in places all over the world, and this is by far one of my favorite retreats.I was all alone, everything was clean, this is 100% worth your time, thank you for everything.

A more than perfect place to spend time with the family. The cabins are very cozy with an equipped kitchen, board games and enough blankets. From the time of booking, they were very helpful in letting us know about the weather conditions. We had a very good experience with Caesar, very friendly when checking in and explaining where everything was. The cabins are inside a very beautiful ranch, which allows you to have a good time with the family and admire the horses. The photos of the place in the description are very good, but in person the place is 1000 times better. The kids didn't want to leave🤗.
