Vacation rentals with beach access in Mission Beach, San Diego

If you are able to bike/walk, this place is amazing! Quick access to the beach and bay and close to many local shops and restaurants!

This is such a fantastic location! You can see the bay from the patio & so close to the beach!! We walked or Ubered everywhere… which was cheap 🙂 Lots of natural light with all the windows & the temp inside was perfect with the fans provided. Love the live plants inside too 🪴 .. so homey, comfy & clean. We had such a great time 🌊☀️🏖️

This cute little apartment was in a great location, with the beach a few steps away and great local restaurants and bars within walking distance. The apartment itself was very clean. I love that it had a designated parking spot😊👍

Loved staying here! Perfect location, right next to the beach and places to eat. The Funky Lemon right next door has great coffee, food, and pastries. We took the bikes out to ride on the ocean front walk and grab breakfast. The provided parking was perfect since parking in the area is limited! Plenty of towels and toiletries. Patty is a great host and her place is awesome!

Loved staying here a second time! Make sure you drop people off/unload in front of the unit to avoid making others wait to park and don’t get a giant car - the garages are a tight fit like everywhere else in mission beach.

Great 3 bedroom with 2 bathrooms in a very convenient Mission Bay location. Once you arrive, you could park and walk everywhere. Small market a few blocks away, liquor store, Blue Palms restaurant for breakfast or lunch and amazing boardwalk to people watch or walk. Very good location. Awesome patio and big windows that open wide.

We really enjoyed are time at the beach house. It was a great location and very close to every where we wanted to go. It is absolutely a beautiful place to stay with family.

Amazing place to stay with the family. Great beaches nearby. Tanya is an excellent host who goes above and beyond for her guests. She bought a mobile crib for our infant for our 3 day trip so he could sleep well, very few hosts would do that. Would absolutely recommend to stay at her place.

This is a beautiful Triplex home. We had our own private entrance and carport and rarely ran into the other friendly tenants. Sitting on the patio you can see beautiful views of sailboats coming in and out of the jetty. The Mission Beach and Bay walking paths are both steps from the front door. We walked right around the corner to the bay and spent an entire day there. The home is also just a short walk to Belmont Park. This place has everything you need including Beach supplies and a small but very livable space. My small family and I had a great time and would definitely stay again if given the chance. Andrew, the host was very friendly and responsive. Self- check-in was seamless and simple with the electronic keypad on the door. Awesome place in arguably the most beautiful part of San Diego. I would tell you to book it but I want it to be available next time I'm in town don't want to miss out on this hidden gem, LOL! We had a wonderful time and I would gladly do it again!

Great place! Nice to be able to walk to beach and down the boardwalk. Loved the Blue Palm cafe- great food just steps away. Comfortable beds, stocked kitchen with everything you need and more! Colleen is very responsive and helpful!

This Airbnb has everything that you could possibly need and while it is a studio, it's actually roomy. There's a large, very comfortable king-size bed, but it doesn't feel like it takes up a lot of space. The couch is a pull-out bed as well, and it’s long enough to for somebody that's 5'6” or smaller to be able to sleep on it. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need including ice cube trays and a light underneath the microwave. So, it feels homey. There's a bar that has five chairs facing the strandway where you can see the glimpses of the ocean. There are plenty of plugs for gadgets. There's a closet that has all kinds of linens. Anything you could possibly need from extra blankets to extra pillows, extra towels. In the kids' room, there are bunk beds that are large enough for an adult to sleep on the bottom (5’6” or shorter). The bathroom is has nice lighting and a window that opens up the street. The patio outside has plenty of space for two to three people to sit.

We loved the place and the owners. They definitely go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable! 100% would stay here again

We had a wonderful time at Harry’s place. Tons to do within driving distance. Location fantastic - literally bike rentals on the corner and a few seconds from the house you’re on the promenade biking in either direction. We loved the house and overall amazing family vacation.

Great location near the bay, includes two bikes, and two parking spots. Is a cozy spot that is perfect for two people. Great communication and accommodated early check in.

Perfect long weekend location for our little family. Literally steps to the beach, which was amazing with our two year old. Speaking of that, the house has everything you need for the beach and a toddler. From toddler cups and plates, to a step stool in the bathroom, kids books, and all the beach toys. Super responsive host and overall just the best. Super host for sure.

Glenna and Bill were as wonderful as their home. Spacious 3br for the bayfront! Truly, on the water, and with four little kids it was so nice to have the beach out your front door. Their patio is also one of the best on the bay with ample space and seating. We enjoyed meals out there and sitting back in the rocking chairs after tucking the kids in.

This is a great location! Situated above a great coffee shop, Buzz coffee, this location is central to all the Mission Beach happenings. Great restaurants like Moe's and Rosemarie's are literally across the street and possibly the best restaurant in town, The Fishery, is about a 10 minute drive. I would highly recommend! Most importantly for us the beach is very close, so close that you can run back and use your own bathroom when needed. Lastly, Carl was very responsive and a great host. This place was very relaxing for a chill weekend by the beach.

We had such a great stay at Anchors Aweigh! The host communication was phenomenal!! It was also even closer to the beach than I thought, which was great!! Easy walking distance to restaurants and bars! Only thing I would say is if you are traveling with small kids, I would recommend booking one of the second floor condos. We could hear the upstairs neighbors pretty clearly, which wasn’t a problem at all for us but could have been difficult for nap times if we brought our kids along.

Great condo, with incredible views. Very well kept, and very close to everything in Mission Beach. Would definitely choose this place in the future.

We had an amazing stay at Nicklas’s place in San Diego! The condo is beautifully renovated and right on the waterfront—waking up to those ocean views was such a treat. The kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with everything we needed, making our stay super comfortable and convenient. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into making the space feel like a true home away from home. We would absolutely love to stay here again in the future. Highly recommend!
