Vacation rentals with a patio in Mission Beach, San Diego

We loved staying here! Our only critique is that there were only 2 pillows in the bed but aside from that everything was perfect! The patio is so nice and it’s such a great walk to the beach and bay!

Came into town for the weekend with my grown sons and found Rosina’s place to be a great home base!! Perfect for 3 people. And walkable to downtown. There are some restaurants and stores close by too. The casita is clean and cute and has a little patio! All the amenities necessary. Rosina was very communicative from the moment we booked. Would stay here again!!!

We were lucky to book this place last minute and absolutely loved it! The place was super clean, well stocked, had a washer and dryer in the unit, and easy parking! We loved the location- lots of food options, the grocery store is nearby, and it is an easy walk to the beach. The only thing we were sad about was that we had to leave haha. We definitely recommended staying here and can’t wait to book again!

This is hands down one of the best stays my husband and I have ever had! Not only was the place super easy to find, but it was well stocked, clean and comfortable. The host, Connie, was extremely kind and flexible with us when our check in was late. She made us feel right at home and the value of the stay far exceeds the price. I highly recommend their granny flat in La Mesa and hope I can come back again very soon!!

We are relatively new to using Airbnb properties and its refreshing to stay at a property that perfectly matched its listing description. The unit was sized just right for my wife and I, immaculately clean with everything in working order, was an easy walk down to the beach (10 minutes), freeway access was simple, and was very peaceful. John was the perfect host and responded immediately when we reached out to him. It was a very nice long weekend!

I stayed at this place for a week almost. The apartment is cosy and confortable, with many points of interest at walking distance, including Gaslamp quarter and the Stadium. The small balcony and the common rooftop are very agreeable, and Jay and his team were very responsive and accommodating. I would definitely consider this place for a next trip to San Diego !

The condo was very clean and being right on the beach was a dream! Lots of people watching to be done during the day, but it got quiet and peaceful at night. The dog beach was entertaining and the waves peaceful! The area does have a lot of homeless people, especially as you walk towards and on Newport Ave, which is the Main Street with shops and restaurants, however they seemed docile and weren’t necessarily bothersome. The futon is not the same as in the pictures and the surface uneven when it’s laid flat so we really couldn’t use that as an extra bed and I ended up sharing the queen bed with my daughter. Beds were comfortable. FYI there is no volleyball provided despite the condo practically sitting on top of volleyball courts and providing a net, which in my opinion is an oversight, but not a huge deal. Buying one will run you $21. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and felt the value was good.

This was great-away to relax and enjoy the views and beach time; and it EXCEEDED our expectations!! The home was clean and organized and was sprinkled with many thoughtful and welcoming surprises throughout the home. For example we did smores at sunset and they had the skewers we need and some cozy blankets to use while we enjoyed the fire pit, when we came in from the beach they had some beach towels ready and handy for us to use at the entrance. The bedding was all comfy and welcoming. BUT the VIEW!! Wow!! I sat on the rocking chairs for hours and the sound of the waves was soothing. I cant say enough of how beautiful this place was we are so grateful for have found it! WE hope to make a trip there again soon!!

Adam was a wonderful host, and the house was absolutely beautiful. Before our arrival, he mentioned that the property could be a bit tricky to find, but thanks to his detailed directions, we had no trouble at all. The home was clean, well-maintained, and in a fantastic location. I highly recommend staying here—I’d definitely love to return in the future.

The cottage had everything we needed and more, location was very walkable and recommendations for the local pub and coffee shops were very helpful! We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a laid back San Diego trip.

I never leave reviews, but I felt as though I had to this go around. These hosts literally thought of everything you could need and things you may even possibly have left behind you meant to bring. Going to a new place not knowing what to eat is always an issue, but they even had menus to all the surrounding restaurants as well as recommendations on what to try and where to go. If you want to be on the beach this is literally right there, there’s really not a view but being so close to it makes up for that. Thank you guys for a great stay, I will definitely be back.

Our family absolutely loved staying here! The pictures of the home were accurate, master bed was comfy, and we loved that each bedroom had its own designated bathroom. There was so much space within the home and we never felt cramped. The only “weird” thing about the home is the master bedroom has an attached sitting room - which faces a half wall that is open to the stairs leading up to the bedroom. So the bedroom door does provide visual privacy, but does not provide much of a noise barrier. This is definitely not a deal breaker, as we would absolutely stay here again!! The home was conveniently located between Mission Beach and Mission Bay, and my adult children had a great time utilizing the beach toys. I would highly recommend this property for families with adult children or group of adults needing separate spaces.

This was our second stay at this property. It was so great the first visit, we wanted to stay here again. The location is amazing! So close to Liberty Station, which has great restaurants, bars and shopping. Also a short drive to Little Italy. The property is dog friendly, and our 2 German Shepherds loved it! The yard wraps around the house and is fully fenced and safe for dogs. It's a very nice and clean casita set back from the main house, so there is a lot of privacy. The hosts are always very responsive and friendly. Highly recommend staying here!

Location was great with short walk to beach and bay. Well-appointed unit with everything we needed. Was very clean! We had a couple of questions and waited a bit for responses, but figured things out. Would likely stay again.

The apartment was exactly as described. It suited us very well as we wanted a short vacation after our work in San Diego. The location was central and it was a walkable distance to the Gaslamp Quarters. All the amenities listed were spot on. We especially loved the free detergent provided. It was such a thoughtful gesture and we left San Diego with hardly any dirty clothes! In all, we had a wonderful experience throughout our stay there. We highly recommend this premise to all SD visitors looking for a good stay.

Eric was extremely responsive. Everything was very comfortable—the beds and the couches. Super quiet and relaxing. While close to the airport, you don’t hear the planes. Lovely place. We didn’t have a car but walked to little Italy-just a note that the neighborhood is very hilly.

Lovely Airbnb that was quiet but within walking distance of a lively street with nice bars and restaurants. Had a great stay!

The place was easy to find and check-in was a breeze. The location was perfect for our trip and everything was as pictured. Would definitely book with Nick again.

Cassandra was an excellent host. She communicated clearly and promptly with us. The condo is modern, clean, and well equipped. Surprisingly the fold out couch was comfortable to sleep on. The bed was comfortable too. Both were firm enough for my daughter and myself. The master bath is enormous with acceptable water pressure. While we did not spend a lot of time outside, the Adirondack chairs and small dining area with lighting would have been nice to use had the weather been warmer. Also the unit is walking distance to a lovely La Jolla beach. An excellent place to stay for a few days in San Diego.

Had a great stay for a wedding. So close to the beach and restaurants and shops. It had everything we needed, even with a baby.
