Waterfront vacation rentals in Mission Beach, San Diego

This place is awesome and as described. Super walkable to the water and numerous restaurants. It's still pretty quiet inside though. Instructions were clear so they were easy to follow. Carl was also quick to respond when I had a question. Overall had a great time and will definitely be coming back to this gem of a place! ☺️

Perfect location if you have small kids! The park is right out your front door with a calm beach attached. We were able to fit our inflatable toddler bed in the room no problem. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Beautiful apartment just as pictured. We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is clean and spacious. Mark was very friendly and responded quickly to any questions we had. Great location not too far from La Jolla.

We loved this place. even though it was cloudy and windy, the porch was our favorite place to be! We watched Sea Lions, seagulls, pelicans and surfers during our morning coffee and dusk wine sunsets. Location was also great, within 15 to 20 minutes we were able to explore so much during the 3 days we were there. If you can only do a couple of things I suggest spending a couple of hours at the Cabrillo National Monument $20 valid for 7 days, you can hike, visit the monument, light house, tide pools, visitor center, The view is spectacular! Then head to Old Town and ride the 2 hours trolley - hop on and hop off or enjoy the full ride. Mexican food galore or stop by Little Italy for some yummy pizza! It was our first time in San Diego, but we will be back for sure, and hopefully Rick's place will be available! also a bonus, you get to use the garage!

We had a great stay! It was close to the beach and easy to walk to restaurants and coffee shops. Bradley was very responsive and helpful!

Awesome location! The beach was our backyard and the dogs had a blast. There is also a hose in the back patio which made beach clean up so easy! The apt was also walking distance to restaurants and shops. We will definitely plan to come back again!

Stayed here as three adults and a toddler. Location is beautiful overseeing the bay side with its calmer waters, perfect for families with little ones. The ocean itself is very close by as is Belmont Park. There are coffee shops, corner marts, bar and food within 5 min walking distance. The place is lovely, clean and well equipped. Great layout. The stove top was hard to work. I knew beforehand the markings on the dial weren’t visible, but these worked differently and made cooking temps a guessing game. There is a high chair and pack n play. The extra twin bed was helpful for our toddler. The parking spot is doable but requires more maneuvering for a bigger car. Compact SUV’s or sedans should be fine. The two personal issues I had were the beds and noise. During memorial weekend there was a lot of people noise but it stopped at 10 PM. After the holiday, it was quiet except for planes overhead. The fan/ AC helped blocked it out. The beds were very cushioned but without support.

Georgie’s airbnb is beautiful and in a great location in Ocean Beach. There’s plenty to do nearby and easy to walk to. We had some trouble sleeping due to noise from airplanes, but this has less to do with Georgie’s Airbnb specifically and more to do with the proximity to the airport.

Lovely stay here. Was so nice being close to the beach. Place was clean and as described. Having beach supplies available was a very nice perk as well. Parking spot is on a steep incline so definitely was glad we had an SUV. Would definitely stay here again!

Adam was a wonderful host, and the house was absolutely beautiful. Before our arrival, he mentioned that the property could be a bit tricky to find, but thanks to his detailed directions, we had no trouble at all. The home was clean, well-maintained, and in a fantastic location. I highly recommend staying here—I’d definitely love to return in the future.

Scott was so responsive and accommodating as we got into town a little before our check in time. We were able to store our luggage in the garage so we could go enjoy the boardwalk and have some lunch before we checked in. The spot was beautiful and so close to everything. Definitely will stay again!

The house was in a fantastic location and fully equipped for a great beach vacation! Plenty of room for our family of 4. The beds are very comfortable. Walkable to amenities and the beach. We had a wonderful vacation and would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in San Diego!

Awesome place to stay and enjoy all that San Diego has to offer. Close to the beach, airport, and all the attractions. Highly recommend to families. We would stay here again in the future.

Our family absolutely loved staying here! The pictures of the home were accurate, master bed was comfy, and we loved that each bedroom had its own designated bathroom. There was so much space within the home and we never felt cramped. The only “weird” thing about the home is the master bedroom has an attached sitting room - which faces a half wall that is open to the stairs leading up to the bedroom. So the bedroom door does provide visual privacy, but does not provide much of a noise barrier. This is definitely not a deal breaker, as we would absolutely stay here again!! The home was conveniently located between Mission Beach and Mission Bay, and my adult children had a great time utilizing the beach toys. I would highly recommend this property for families with adult children or group of adults needing separate spaces.

Quiet, clean, comfortable beds, nice amenities and extras. Location was steps away the bay and just a couple blocks to beach. As host mentions in post, parking could be difficult if you have a larger truck or SUV, but let’s you know upfront where to find alternative parking options.

Excellent place to stay! What a great location and view! Gorgeous. Walkable to so many wonderful places. Great food, beaches, stores, beach boardwalk and more. A close drive to the Zoo, La Jolla and beautiful parks. Not too far from the airport. The place was very clean. We would most definitely stay here again.

The place at Mission Beach was cozy and comfortable for a family of three. We settled right in and the hosts were friendly and responsive when we communicated with them. Great location as well with tons of things to do for kids of all ages.

The apartment was so close to all the restaurants and easy to get to anywhere within around 15 minutes drive. Tina was an amazing host and on hand to answer any questions.

We had a great stay! loved the patio and being able to enjoy a view of the ocean. walkable to resteraunts and shopping and having a dedicated parking spot is great! Would definitely recommend staying !

Such an amazing place! My husband and I have been meeting up with our friends for 6 years now and this is the first time a kid has joined us. My son loved the beach and it was so nice to be so close and to have our own space but to also be able to walk to restaurants and things around. Kiran was so kind and was able to answer any questions we had very quick. We’ve already talked about going again!!

We really enjoyed staying here! Our favorite part was the view. It was so amazing to see and hear the ocean from both patios. The location in Pacific Beach was great! Steps from the beach and the boardwalk! Beautiful sunsets. Lots of restaurants and groceries really close. Easy to drive to other areas north and south really quickly. The parking spot in the garage was super helpful to have. Never had to worry about parking. Also great to have access to some beach chairs and towels. Beds were comfy. Appreciated the nice counter space in the primary bathroom. One thing to note for all you tall people out there. The height of the primary shower head was low. Not a big problem for me at 5’8” but my hubby is 6’4”. Good news is that the 2nd shower has a hand held sprayer so the problem was solved. Just an FYI for those that want to know.

Chris did a great job making sure we were able to enter and we were happy. The place was spotless, newly renovated with the latest designs and literally right on the beach and boardwalk with incredible views! I highly recommend the home and PB in general!!
