We had such a wonderful stay—this Airbnb was absolutely perfect for our family of four (two adults and two young kids, ages 5 and 6). The house was spotless, comfortable, and incredibly well stocked. We arrived to fresh flowers and snacks, which was such a warm and thoughtful welcome. Everything we needed was already there—from a fully equipped kitchen to beach chairs, towels, and even toys for the kids. The backyard was a huge bonus—beautifully maintained and a great space for the kids to run around and play. We loved starting our mornings with a short walk to Leucadia Donut Shop, which is a truly special little spot. Just Peachy Market at the end of the street had everything we needed, and we also enjoyed walking to Fish 101, Haggo’s Tacos, and Bump Coffee—all fantastic. Moonlight Beach ended up being a favorite for the kids, but the beaches that were walkable from the house were stunning and less crowded. I absolutely adored Leucadia and this Airbnb.

Eldein is the perfect host, welcoming, friendly, easy to talk to, available to ask any questions or get any extra supplies. It felt like we were staying with a friend. His hospitality and generosity was truly heart-warming. One of us got sick during our stay and he went out of his way to help make us feel comfortable. This was our first time staying in Carlsbad and it’s a great location to explore the area all the way to San Diego. So many great places to visit and dine at in the area. His place was a great home away from home for our visit. Eldein’s place is located on a beautiful street, it feels safe and peaceful while being close to all the area’s attractions.

Jane and Ian’s place was awesome! Great space with well equipped kitchen and brand new appliances and cookware. The view from the 2nd floor porch-balcony was amazing since we could sit out with glass of wine and watch the sunsets. The king bed was very comfortable. The location was a short walking distance to La Jolla Cove and local amenities like restaurants and stores. Both hosts, plus their site manager, were super communicative and responsive. We will definitely book with this Host Team again!

Great place to stay, very clean and has everything you would need. We didn’t have a car so the bikes were great to have to get us around town. Everything is close and tons to do! We especially enjoyed the outdoor patio and fire pit!! Would definitely stay again!

Amazing location! The apartment has floor to ceiling windows and the view of the ocean is spectacular. The beds and couches were comfortable. You can hear the waves crashing because you are so close to the beach. We enjoyed going to sleep to the sound of the waves and going for walks along the water in the mornings. The location was just 15-20 away from every sight we wanted to visit in the San Diego area. We appreciated that there were beach towels, beach chairs and a football to borrow. The laundry machines are down the hall, not in the apartment, if that matters to you. We had no trouble using them.

Many thanks to Renee for being such a great host! We were extremely happy with our stay. Everything was as described, the location was perfect, and the house was quiet, clean and comfortable. Only thing to note is that the driveway is very steep! If you plan on parking on the street, make sure you are able to climb a short, sharp incline to access the home.

Amazing place to stay. Spotless, looked exactly like the pictures and the views of the bay was so nice. The location was perfect. Went with my wife and our two children. Everything was very close to us. We went to the zoo, Little Italy, Belmont Park and even I took a run around the bay. Highly recommended this place to stay.

The view here is 2nd to none! We’ve stayed at many Airbnb’s and this house was so well stocked and perfect for our family. Steps from the ocean and walkable to markets, coffee shops, etc. Also loved the at there was trash valet and weekly window washing…the little things! Would definitely stay again!

A wonderful home! Our family had plenty of space for the kids, parents, and grandparents. Everyone had their own room. It was amazing to have four bedrooms all on the first floor. There was a beautiful yard the kids just loved with citrus trees. The kitchen table was nice and big so we could all eat together. The thick towels were very comfy. The kitchen counter was beautiful, would use that in my home, it was so nice. Neighborhood was quiet. We would love to come again here. Ideal for families.

The place is so beautiful - from the house itself to the awesome view. Being able to sit out in the hot tub that looks out over the mountain range was fantastic. The place is very spacious while still being cozy and inviting. Deanna was very friendly and incredibly helpful with any questions we had. I would absolutely stay here again!

Hidden gem. Absolutely amazing view from hot tub. We've been to many places, but few have the view this does. Truly great place, easy parking and very clean set up. Communications were always quick and easy. The hot tub makes the place what it is. You are directly on the beach path but upstairs and very private. The master bathroom is really small, but efficient. Beds are comfy and the fire pit is an awesome add on that makes spending time at this house a true release from the everyday pressures of life! We can't wait to return. Thanks again!!!

Andrew’s home was absolutely incredible! The breathtaking beach views from the large windows made waking up feel like a dream, and the location couldn’t be better—just steps from amazing restaurants and charming shops. The house itself was spotless, fresh, and cozy while still feeling spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room to relax. Andrew was a fantastic host—super hospitable and flexible with check-in and check-out. He even surprised us with thoughtful snacks and breakfast goodies, which we really appreciated on such a busy weekend. Extra towels were provided, and everything felt so well cared for. The value for the price was excellent, and as a dog owner, I especially loved that he welcomes pets. Truly a heavenly stay all around! Highly recommend and hope to be back soon. Thank you, Andrew!

We enjoyed our stay in Mission Beach! This home is on a quiet street with a beach town vibe, just steps from the beach and a short walk to several restaurants, shops and Belmont Amusement Park. It is also just a 20min drive to the airport and the San Diego Zoo (a must see!) and just 40min to Legoland. We loved the front porch and spacious living area. The three bedrooms setup perfectly for our family of 5, with the only drawback being the kid's rooms were two floors above the master (which could be good or bad depending on the age of the children ;) The three bathrooms were small, but very clean and what you'd expect in a beach house. The house was stocked with games & Legos to keep the kids busy, and it was great having access to beach toys and chairs. The home felt very safe and secure and would definitely recommend for families looking to enjoy beach living!

Being able to easily park 2 vehicles was a huge plus. And, place is within walking distance of many conveniences including a deli and pharmacy.

Helena was a great host. The home was clean, organized, well stocked. Perfect house with beautiful views and the pool area was a wonderful spot to spend all day with friends and family. Looking forward to staying here again if we plan on being in the Escondido area!
