Farmstay vacation rentals in Metropolitan City of Bologna

This is a gem in the middle of paradise. We arrived, thinking we were close to the City of Bologna , But found we were on a beautiful property in the mountains, with a fantastic view. We were away from the hustle, and bustle of all the crowds in Italy. This gave us a chance to explore all the surrounding areas with their beautiful views and fabulous restaurants. We would definitely return.

Our original flight was cancelled and the replacement flight 2 days later meant we arrived at 2 am but access to the farmhouse was organised for us and communicated clearly.

We absolutely loved our stay at Primaluna. The apartment is spacious, cozy, beautifully kept, and spotlessly clean, everything you need is right there. Laura is incredibly kind and helpful, always happy to share tips on places to visit. The setting is very peaceful and refreshing, and the garden was a real highlight. It felt great to be surrounded by nature while still being close to everything. We really wished we could’ve stayed longer to truly enjoy it all.

We visited here for our honeymoon, and it was absolutely beautiful. There are stunning surrounding mountains, a beautiful river nearby, and the stone house is a Tuscan dream. Claudio and his wife were extremely welcoming and kind, and they both worked to make us feel right at home. We couldn't imagine a better place to begin our honeymoon, and are very grateful to our hosts. We can't wait to return!

Our stay with Luca and Maddalena was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we checked in early with their welcoming son, we felt right at home. Luca and Maddalena truly spoiled us with their kindness, always catering to any need. The location is perfect – it has a charming countryside feel, yet it's close enough to the city of Bologna and the Apennines to explore the mountains. We stayed for a month and wished we could have stayed longer. There's plenty to explore, and it really felt like a home away from home. Highly recommended!

We only stayed 2 nights but we had a great time. The Torre apartment is really nice, very clean and comfortable. The Tower is spectacular, we relaxed in the morning after breakfast to see and hear the swallows darting next to the open windows and singing joyfully. Well, it's an experience to have. Elisabetta is very kind, the whole farmhouse and garden are very well maintained... Try it and see...

A beautiful room in a very beautiful green setting. The maintenance of the exteriors is really good, the fruit trees, the view of the vines... perfect for resting. Michel is really welcoming, always kind and with a smile. His explanations on the making of balsamic vinegar will delight foodies. We have to go!!!

We had a great time staying at Linda's place, this is the second time we've been coming because it's really a piece of paradise . I recommend going right away!

After our stay in downtown Bologna, our last night at Abel's was the perfect, quiet end of an impressive city vacation. At this point, I have to highlight the cozy bedding, the natural noise backdrop and the warm bathroom (the radiators heat immediately!). Especially if you want to explore the hills of Bologna or use it for sporting activities, this property is a great recommendation. In addition to the vending machine coffee, we would have liked coffee in the kitchen.

Everything is perfect, clean and tidy accommodation. Courteous and available host. I would definitely go back.

Amazing place to stay! Just 15 min outside of bologna by car but so peaceful and beautiful. Amazing view over bologna from the park nearby. Had the pleasure to see a concert in the beautiful church. Special thanks to Abel who took care of us, super friendly and funny guy!

A beautiful farmhouse, in a beautiful, very quiet area, you can get through a road along the coast of a hill with a 360-degree view (the navigator suggested a slightly more rugged street instead we walked around on the other side and you get to comfortable, comfortable). Accommodation as described, everything very clean, fragrant bath linens......you really felt a little at home. Julia is very kind, helpful and responsive. Restaurants for lunch and/or dinner with good food and views of the hills in the immediate vicinity and other services such as supermarket or breakfast bars can be reached by car in a few minutes. Also convenient to visit Bologna and have the opportunity to stay in the middle of nature.

Antonella and her husband made us feel at home. Their farm stay is in a beautiful location overlooking the valley and well-kept. The garden is beautiful and the pool and sun loungers are very appreciated by me. Too bad we were just passing through for one night because it's a place that deserves a longer stay. And our Breanna found a pleasant company in their dog 'Lillo' 😊

Excelente! Fuimos 6 friends to celebrate my 40th birthday without children or husbands and we are very happy with the choice. Maurizia has made us feel at home, the very nice house typical of the Bolognese countryside and at the same time very close to downtown. Very Athena and had more than one detail with us. A unique and special experience awaits you if you book to stay with Roberta and Georgio! Not only is the apartment spotless, charming and neat as a pin, but the are so many extras too. The local recommendations are excellent, and your hosts will go out of their way to make you feel welcome and provide you with everything you need (and more). Having a kitchen full of breakfast foods already stocked, made our stay with children so much easier. If you are looking for a holiday that is luxurious, culturally enriching and peaceful, then look no further. You will need a car to get here, but it's totally worth the trip. Couldn't have asked for more, and have never stayed anywhere better. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay. The location is great, if you are looking for nature and tranquility and for shopping and dining it is only a few minutes' walk to the village. And the beautiful pool was an extra plus! Giulia also gave many tips and was directly available for all questions. Thank you for the relaxing days!
