Places to stay in Metropolitan City of Bologna

It was a very pleasant stay. The apartment is very central and approximately 15 mins walk to the center and the other restaurants. Anthony is very friendly, he gave us many tips for the restaurants, supermarkets etc. He also gave us the contact details of a taxi man who came to drop us at the airport, at very affordable price. We were three staying at the appartement and it felt like home, there is a little kitchenette, fridge and utensils. Our towels were exchanged for fresh ones every two days. Overall I would give a 4.5/5 because it was sometimes a bit loud at night with the noise of passers-by :).

The place was easily to reach, close to several bus stops. also, clean and has enough equipment for a short trip.

Fabio’s place is perfect for a trip to Bologna, there are lots of little shops and cafes close by and it is a short walk to the Piazza Maggiore, bars and restaurants. It is very near to Porta Saragozza, the first of the gates up to the San Luca monastery. The apartment was extremely clean and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, would definitely recommend!

Apartment was exactly as in photos. Convenient location. Communication was smooth and every time we asked for an information the reply was in time

We thoroughly enjoyed our break from seeing cities. Bella was very helpful, letting us know what would be open over a holiday, recommending a lovely restaurant and hikes etc.. We had what we needed to cook for ourselves.

Beautiful view even in rainy weather (Ruth and Paul had nothing to do with it). On the first valleys of the Apennines. 1 hour drive from Modene, Bologna. Ideal for also going to Mantua (too little-known and beautiful palace, parking at the Canoe camp), Parma or Ferrara (a pleasure by bike, renting from Todisco, cheap and nice). Clean and quiet rental (2 other tenants received the same week in the adjoining apartment and we heard nothing because the walls of the farm are very thick and well insulated). Ruth and Paul are hosts as we love them: welcoming, discreet and available (thank you again for our late arrival). Always good tips. A good place to enjoy the region by avoiding rentals of the agricultural valley, less typical, even if it has its charm. Great for going on the Apennine trails.

We had such a lovely time in Bologna and it all started with our stay with Lucia. Thank you so much for all the helpful information and advice. Our stay was clean, close to all attractions and parks, and just a comfortable place to relax after touring the city. Lucia was so kind and we felt so warm and welcomed!

We had a lovely time at Sofia's apartment. It is very nice and tastefully furnished. It is also beautifully located in the old center of Bologna in a cozy student neighborhood. Everything (attractions, museums, the Piazza Maggiore) is at walking distance. We will definitely come back here!
